She was running all night at 100mph, but took the time to make me feel like her only customer. Whomever hired her needs to find another dozen! Service like this is why I am, and will be a repeat customer. Food is priced fairly, drinks are substantial, the servers are very knowledgeable about wine parings and present the drinks as the professionals they are.

Not sure if it is a ploy to have you buy something or what. Service after that was amazing from Maryanne. The food description on the menu looked amazing and it look nice coming out but the flavors were a miss. The chicken potstickers were like anything I could thaw from Sam's Club. One side was browned and the other two soggy and cool. The Italian sausage and burrata flatbread tasted of nothing but pesto. We are pesto fans but not to overpower all the other possible flavors. The grilled Asian Prime Skirt steak was tough and short on flavor. There were more cold vegetables and cabbage than rice. The ginger rice was cool and not ginger like at all. Very beautiful building with a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.

I also liked the mismatched mugs. They seemed seriously understaffed, and service was very slow. We ordered drinks, and waited long enough for someone to come back to take our food order that we were starting to wonder if they thought we were only getting drinks. There was another long wait for our food. When it arrived, it arrived in batches. One person ordered three tacos, but the order was entered wrong, so they only got one to start, and they had to wait quite a while for the other two. The food was good overall, but the portions were quite small. I did like the Bourbon Street French toast, particularly the caramel sauce. It could have used more bananas though. The fried pickles were good, as were the spicy mozzarella sticks. The steak omelet's sauce was odd. The nachos were good. The coffee and lattes were good. The regular orange juice had less juice than one poured for our toddler. Overall it was alright, but I don't know that I'd go back.

Big time, baby!! In those 58 years, the exterior has not changed except for a patio on the back side. The men's room is really small; much like Texaz Grill in Phoenix!! No door on the toilet stall to this day. Seating area has same setup; booths and tables appear to have been replaced over those years. Dagwood's offers 10 or more draft beers today. The classic MIchelob is absent. I had ham and bean soup, cheeseburger and fries. The soup is homemade and just what I wanted. Burgers are all smash-style; cooked to order and still juicy. To me, the fries are the hit; hand-cut fresh potatoes fried to order and great! Saturday afternoon was a little spotty but they got the job done. Coming back 30 years later, I can't say that much has changed. The burger was still delicious, the service was still solid and if you love dive bars and old classic pubs as much as I do, the decor was solid and pleasing. You get what you see here, there is nothing fancy, but everything is great. If you love burgers (or wings which are also yummy but drumstick style) this is an absolutely underrated spot to get a basic bacon cheeseburger and fries. The short rib sandwich appeared to have several nice ingredients layered as far as toppings, and I don't doubt the quality of ingredients, however the flavors just weren't right. It should've been real short rib- shredded- instead of dry and thinly sliced short rib? 3/5. The fries on the side were great though, 5/5. I'd come back!
