Beware. I called to get an estimate back in February of this year. Kamron came to my home to bid the job. He inspected everything, found out what I wanted done and emailed me a "proposal and service agreement" with a total bid amount of $1088. I thought that was fair for all of the work, so I agreed to have it all done. I told Kamron I only wanted the roof cleaning and zinc treatment at this time and wait for nicer weather to do the pressure washing and trim painting.
Kamron and his partner came out (after a scheduling mix up he apologized for). They did the roof cleaning, zinc treatment as well as pressure washing of siding, trim, parking pad and porch (even though I only scheduled roof cleaning and treatment). They added an extra $150 for an extra section of roof cleaning (even though he inspected and bid the job himself). I received a bill for $830. I was expecting $544 plus the extra $150 (even though that seemed ridiculous and unfair to add on to the contract bid). That should have been a bill total of $694, not $830 (and it really should have been $544 as bid). I was shocked at the cost. I explained to Kamron that he was changing his job bid total by charging that much. I explained I was shocked and not happy, but he just insisted he was correct. I would have not had all of the pressure washing done if I had known the cost was different than the bid amount. He seemed to not understand that a bid is a contract (especially when I have it in writing). I was upset with what I felt was unfair on his part, but paid the bill. I was also surprised he did all of the work besides painting the trim when I had specifically asked to hold off on pressure washing until we were ready to paint.
My home's trim now looked horrible (peeling paint) because they pressure washed it when I had asked them to wait to do so until we had the painting done. This was April 6.
May 19 I checked back with them to schedule painting since nice weather was coming the following week. He said he had two large jobs ahead of mine, but he would paint my trim the second or third week of June. The second and third week came and went. Finally on June 29, Kamron contacted me to finalize plans. He said he would start my job on Monday (July 3). He contacted me again on Saturday, July 1 to confirm the cost of the paint and make sure on the color. He said he would buy it that day and start painting on Monday.
I never heard from him again. I kept blaming the mistakes and shortcomings on being a young, new business. But it all added up to a sour experience. If you are looking for a reliable company, this is not the one to use. read more
