Randy installer complained from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. He argued, broke a bunch of click & lock tiles and made my experience horrible. Was so excited to get new flooring and he ruined it. About 3 1\2 weeks ago I called Shelton Floor Covering to request a quote for laminate countertops. Lonnie came out measured and took some photo, promised to email by that night or the next day. Three days later I call looking for that quote. Lonnie sends email stating that installer Don will need to look at project, and would called me. So, no emails no call backs, nothing ghosted me. It by far has the best selection in the entire south sound. The guys who run the shop are all super friendly and knowledgeable about the sport. They have a wonderful variety of products to choose from and co-owner Lonnie was very helpful in guiding us to a product which suited our need. Co-owner Jacob and Mathew installed the vinyl product for us and did a very professional job that we are most proud of. They have an excellent work ethic...arriving on time, cleaning up each day, cheerful and friendly. After paying 5000 plus for the carpet and vinyl I never seen them again. I have called numerous times to have them finish the work of re-stretching the carpet. A brief history : Call number one "I was told the no one in their shop would tell me they would," return" to re-stretch the carpet. After four years of being told a note wound be left for Lonny, and he would return the call. No-one told me that Lonny was a ghost, and never returned the calls. I did talk to Lonny once when I called (he answered the phone). He assured me that when things slowed in the shop he would have a crew out and take care of the carpet IT WAS A LIE! Well my wife stumbled on the carpet ad she being 74 and myself 76. The carpet is a danger to our health. So my parting words "BEWARE OF MAD DOGS AND SHELTON FLOOR COVERING"! read more

My experience with Shelton Floor coverings was really great from the first time I stepped into the store to the installation. I wanted vinyl plank flooring and had an idea of the look and the price point that would work for me. These guys care about the quality of their installations and products. The salesman, Kevin and the estimator Lonnie were so casual, easy going and always responsive, professional. The install was difficult but the guys were hard working, super smart about installing the product and pleasant to have around during the install. They cleaned up after. Prices were very reasonable and I will only deal with these guys for my flooring needs in the future. Don't waste your time with the pretentious, overpriced and terrable customer service from the other home interiors place just up the road.
