    pizza with extra cheese

Not happy with my last visit. We ordered extra cheese and didn't get it. No comment from the owner when we let them know. This place used to be better.

Recently went for dinner after not having been here for many years and as expected, still the same great location and taste! Ordered a chicken souvlaki, came out perfectly cooked and tasted juicy and delicious. Rice pilaf and Greek potato were so good too. Finally, the tzatziki and Greek salad with feta was incredibly fresh and flavorful. Overall, wonderful dish. Service was also nice. The only downsides preventing a 5-star review: - Price: $26 +tax +tip for a single chicken souvlaki dish is really getting up there in cost... too much for me to come back regularly - Pita bread was thin and compact, not puffy and airy like some pitas I've had at Greek restaurants - Outdoor seating on the street is not the greatest, due to slope of street sloping the table and chairs. Nothing can be done about that I suppose Overall, excellent tasting food but due to high cost will unfortunately not be able to return frequently... special occasions only, really. If there was happy hour pricing on the souvlaki, I'd defintely return more often.

This must have been at least our 3rd visit. Long time family run venue, which we love to support. The Greek meatballs were made better this time. Last time I had these they were overly salty. Service was attentive and calm atmosphere on a Thursday evening.

This is a few steps from my house. I have to say I love the pizza here its so delicious. Very generous on the cheese and the ingredients. We ordered the house special large pizza and love it so much that I am already craving for it even though just had it yesterday. Yes no kidding. It was that good. This place is always busy but again its not that big though. Its been around ever since I remember. My mom said when she was young it was already in the corner. And she used to live in the hood when she was a teenage and would love to eat there the yummy souvalaki. Must be so good or else why would she still remember. Decor is nice and clean. You will find friendly service here. Its totally worth coming. Parking might be a bit limited. Well there are street parkings but most of them have meters. Depends if you are lucky or not. I guess.

It seems that we made the mistake of ordering lasagna. It was lacking in everything other than salt. I would be curious on when it was made and placed in the container. The noodle was almost soup. I did not finish the meal. That's a stretch calling it a meal. Two lasagna and only two slices of bread ( toast ). If this is any indication of their cooking skills I will not be having their pizza any time soon.

Greek food in Vancouver is usually quite solid, and this place is no exception. Very delicious home-style cooking. Parking is available on the side streets a blocks or two away. Watched the meter maids tag several cars directly in front of the restaurant. Special mention goes to their outdoor patio. Great for the summer months. And the best part? It's on the E side of the building. In the afternoon and evenings, it means the entire area is in the shade! Staff were friendly and professional. Pricing is average, at $12-20 for most dishes. The sangria here is one of the tastiest I've had in a long time - it's just the right mix in terms of flavour. Really liked the pineapple chunks inside too. The only bad thing that happened is that the mixing spoon literally broke apart when I was stirring, so I had to pick wood bits out of the mix. Salad is a bit on the plain side - it's literally just chopped lettuce in this case. Garlic bread - a bit too baked - even the inside was crunchy. Ribs and spaghetti - beautiful. Meat was cooked just right - it peeled off the bones easily, but wasn't tough at all. The spaghetti tasted a lot like Chef Boyardee (this is a good thing). Reminds me of eating at home as a kid. Roast lamb - quantity of meat could've been a bit bigger, especially when compared to some of the competition out there. But it was also cooked just right. Special mention. Rest of the bits on the place were decent. Definitely wouldn't mind coming back at some point.

    Calamari dinner ($20)

I've been here a few times now and am careful with what I order. The food can be really hit or miss but my friends like it because it's always relatively quiet in the restaurant so it's easy to talk. On my last visit I had the calamari dinner platter which was calamari, greek salad, and potatoes for $20. I think the website menu says all these house specials come with rice, but this one obviously didn't though rice would've made it too carb heavy. It's little pricey but the calamari was really good, light and crispy, well seasoned so you can eat it without the tzatziki (which is not good, oddly heavy). The potatoes were just okay and the salad was lackluster. In the past, I remember enjoying the beef souvlaki and moussaka, but found the pizzas not to my taste at all. The service is fine, though generally unfriendly but I don't think that's a big deal.

I had an amazing Greek-style lasagna with ample garlic bread for dipping. Nice patio with a Kitsilano street view.

Went at 4pm and they were not busy at all. We opted to sit outside to enjoy the remaining good weather before the winter rains. The pizza was very tasty - crispy light crust and delicious flavorful meats. The sauce wasn't overly seasoned and was just the right amount. Very good pizza and not too expensive.

The yaletown park is right outside so great place to let kids run while you socialize Nothing too fancy, just a really good pizza place. This will be a good go-to since it's in our neighborhood.

Watching plates come together and seeing what other diners ordered added an extra layer of fun that you don't get at a standard table. From our visit, the roasted mushroom pizza stood out. I loved the combination of confit garlic, fontina, and arugula pesto. It hit a nice balance of earthy, creamy, and slightly peppery, and the crust had that ideal chew with a crisp edge. We also ordered the baked Japanese sweet potato which leaned simple but satisfying. It was soft with an almost custardy texture. The pork belly with chicharron was tender but definitely one of the heavier dishes of the night. Service was excellent. Dishes arrived at a comfortable pace, and the team seemed in sync with the kitchen, which you especially notice when you're sitting right in front of it. The interior had warm lighting, clean design, and just enough buzz to feel lively without being chaotic. The restaurant is large and I would recommend for small and large groups alike! Most importantly, don't skip dessert! One of the highlights of the night for sure.

I didn't have very high expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised by the pizzas here. They offer a variety of veggie and meat pizzas that can be made with regular crust or deep dish style. We ordered a small deep dish margharita ($19.99) and a medium deep dish butter chicken ($23.99) pizza. Both weren't true deep dish pizzas, but the crust was nice and thick. I'd recommend the pizzas here to anyone who likes a breadier crust. My only minor complaint is that the pizzas didn't have enough sauce to complement the thick crust. The pizzas kept well for leftovers too. They tasted just as good the next day heated up in our toaster oven.
