I am beyond impressed. I couldn't have had a better experience with Olympia Moving & Storage. To be honest I have had the world's worst moving experiences (3X!) in the past with alternate moving companies so I was a little on edge to say the least with this upcoming move. From start to finish Olympia Moving & Storage blew my expectations out of the water. My place of employment was relocating me to NYC for an internal promotion and offered moving services of their own to assist me with my move. Since they couldn't initially say which company I would be assigned to (and based on moving experience's past) I decided to look into Olympia Moving & Storage instead. I had a thorough discussion with Ryan Hegarty, General Manager when I initially decided to hire them as my movers. With each and every email, and each and every phone call, Ryan always answered my questions and concerns patiently and thoroughly. Even though he had still done everything to put my mind at ease I was still beyond nervous on moving day waiting for my movers to arrive. Shortly after they had begun working I was able to take a deep breath and relax as I could instantly tell they were night and day compared to my previous poor experiences and everything was going to be just fine. I had recently just purchased my dream bed and told them to take extra care when handling it (multiple times) and they did just that. I had also asked them to help me pack my large oil paintings. Even when I said that the packing was sufficient enough they still went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure it was properly packed. They even had a red carpet! Honestly, I was so exhausted after practically killing myself and sustaining multiple injuries (packing all of my things myself over the past several weeks in between traveling for work and being ill) I wish I had just let them pack everything as thorough as they were. They did an absolutely amazing job. I don't believe my words could do them justice. I am also used to having a different crew on delivery day which makes thing a little more confusing and difficult and I was pleasantly surprise I was able to have the same gentlemen by the name of Kaleem (I really hope I'm spelling his name correctly :-)). He was so efficient and remained so calm even when I was beyond stressed with moving into the city and literally being told the truck couldn't park in front of my building literally a few minutes before they arrived. He remained completely professional and handled everything as smoothly as possible. I can honestly say that if I ever do have to move again I would 100% hire Olympia Moving & Storage again and have them handle absolutely everything. They are worth every single penny. read more

I moved from West Deptford, to Pine Hill, however they went to a facility to load the load the truck in Cherry Hill, NJ, then to the destination, in Pine Hill, NJ. I was looking for a company that would ​protected my things and quick. I saw a beautiful truck. I looked at the size of it and thought to myself what a lot of space. See my recent experience with another company was rude, didn't care about your things, and didn't conversate with you, when you asked them a question seemed to busy to answer. Well let me tell you about the experience with, Olympia. These 3 young gentlemen showed up with a similar truck that morning with smiles ready to work. They were very polite, introduced themselves. Almost forgot the first call was they were on their way. He was nice and very attentive over the phone his name qas Tyron. So I met Mark and Elijah, then Tyron again when they pulled at the site.Very polite introduced themselves, then got right to work. They keep me informed about is there was damage already done to the furniture, wrapped it all , packed and off to where it was to go. we had conversation, on and off, no complaining no playing just getting the job done. They put everything in it's place for me, put up the bed frame, box and mattress. I assisted with cleanup, so they could and try to enjoy the rest of that beautiful day.The work ethic they displayed was respected and pleasing. I will tell all my friends about them! They worked well together, each one had a job to do and they stayed on task. Excellent, excellent! Then the bill came Lol..,I was charged for what they used. WOW! I don't know why i didn't hire out before. Ease every step of the way. We had a multi-stop, multi-state move and put it to the professionals. Olympia proved they were the professionals the whole way. First, we did a video walk through of my old house looking at all the items. It was an easy process while talking through key points. Once I got the quote any questions I had were quickly answered including why it's just an estimate as things change. Before the move the website and online tools helped keep my sanity. I knew what could and could not go on the truck, I knew when I needed to schedule items at the new and old home. Check-ins were plenty, there was always someone aware of our current step, when mortgages and other chaos were a bigger focus. Day-of, not even on-time but early. Paul the lead of the move-day was fantastically chill. Nothing was an issue. He put me at ease with what he was doing (inventory) and what his crew was doing (loading) and that they could help with any of the last minute items that I had as well. Moving in, was even easier.. my plan for where items were going changed on me, so I had to re-direct some traffic, but the movers were all super polite and friendly and were up for any challenge. Nothing broken, nothing lost, everything was well protected and safe. We had a final call to confirm the quote and we ended up under estimate. No mess was left and we even had a follow-up call or three to make sure it all went well. read more

We hired Olympia Moving and Storage to move from our home to an apartment. I could not have been happier with the services provided. We were not able to schedule the move until a week before settlement and Ryan Hegarty, General Manager, fit me into a very busy June schedule. I felt very comfortable hiring Olympia because of Ryan's consistent communication. Our house is located down a steep hill making it impossible to bring a truck down. When I apologized to the moving team, Dennis, Jay and Alyn, for the inconvenience, they told me not to worry, they would simply carry everything up the hill/steps. They never complained even though the temperature was above 90 degrees. Dennis, Jay and Alyn, were super - they were professional, helpful and polite. There were a number of boxes and bags sitting around that I had planned on taking myself in the car, but they asked if I wanted these things to go, and simply added them in. Furniture was shrink-wrapped, boxes were securely taped, etc. Once we were at the apartment, they put boxes and other items in rooms according to the labels. If the item did not have a label, they asked. They set furniture up where I asked and even made suggestions about arrangement! I would say they went above and beyond. During the move, Sophia, the Relocation Coordinator, called to check how things were going and called again the next day to ask if we were happy with the services. Sales Representative: Ryan Hegarty was very professional and courteous. He was referred to us by our friend and neighbor who had used them twice in recent past. Our dealing with him were excellent. Our conversations to setup appointment for quote and moving date were very pleasant. He give us his time and listened to our requirements, accommodated our time and dates to move. He was able to put together a very good team. We are happy we choose him for our move. Wonderful experience. Olympia crew was amazing. Durant, Skinner, Godfrey and Carols was our SUPER team.They called us in the morning to give us a heads up that they are on their way, which was nice. They arrived on time. All were well professionally dressed and well equipped for the job. They brought all the packaging material with them. They had extra boxes for us too which was nice. They did a pre-loading move and asked which stuff we wanted to move first. They also did a post loading move walk through. All the material was wrapped carefully. We had two big trucks which were filled and not even one piece broke on the way. Everything was delivered, unloaded and unpacked carefully to our satisfaction. I have nothing but the highest praise for Olympia Moving!! From start to finish, they did an absolutely fantastic job. Ryan made the on-boarding process incredibly easy. On the day of our move, Danny (team leader) had clearly read the synopsis of our move before hand and was ready. He walked through the house and made sure that everything that needed to be moved was accounted for. While he packed the truck (which was expertly done so) his team did such an outstanding job of making sure that our belongings were professionally handled and that our house was not damaged. Moved from Honolulu to Philadelphia and contracted with top movers in Hawaii (Royal Hawaiian Movers) to pack and ship 40 years worth of furniture, art and family heirlooms. Olympia was the receiving company. This was a nightmare move--the Hawaii movers were grossly negligent and "lost" many boxes of our belongings, broke vintage furniture, and destroyed family heirlooms that were literally priceless to us (as well as very valuable). This story is relevant to my review of Olympia because John and his crew were absolutely the bright lights of this moving experience. The crew quickly identified that our crates had not been properly packed and documented damage for us as they opened crates at the warehouse. The on-site delivery crew was also amazing--my husband and I were distraught as we opened boxes and surveyed damage and the delivery crew could not have been more kind or careful as they carried our belongings up 3 flights of stairs to our condo. Without exception, the Olympia crew and support staff were professional, courteous, kind and responsive. We hope never to move again but if we do, Olympia is our moving company. These guys were simply the best! I had to schedule a move at the last minute (called on Friday to move on Tuesday). Every other moving company said they couldn't help me, and some of them told me I was nuts. I called Olympia and got in touch with the manager Ryan. He immediately figured out a way help me and was as friendly as could be. He moved fast for me. When the day of the move came, the movers Dennis and Antennas called to let me know when they would be there, and they were exactly on time. They moved everything I had quickly and expertly, and were nice, friendly guys to boot. There was a parking problem at my new place and they dealt with it like it was nothing. They moved me in and made sure that everything was where I wanted it, that everything was secure and that everything was perfect. I had an excellent experience with full-service moving from Olympia (packing and moving, we did the unpacking as was our wish). Ryan Hegarty is the general manager and oversaw our move. From our first meeting, I found Ryan to be straight forward, clear, confident, and responsive. He presented himself in a way that built trust. What perhaps matters most though is that Ryan and his team "backed it up." I thought his team were exceptionally efficient, polite, and attentive in the packing and moving. They made some suggestions about what things to keep in/take out of boxes to ensure our time mostly packed before moving was as easy as possible. And, they were more than accommodating as we asked them to move around a couple items once in our new place. I felt the team took care to make sure our belongings were handled safely. From my first contact with our move coordinator to the time I said good-bye to the driver, I was thoroughly impressed with Olympia. At 72 years old and not having moved in 30 years, I was more than anxious about our move. We lived in a four-bedroom colonial (with attic and basement) for three decades and had to downsize to a two-bedroom apartment in another state. My coordinator was patient with my questions of which there were many. He did his very best to assure me that everything would be fine and helped me figure out the best ways to prepare for the move. Still anxious, the big day arrived and we met our driver. He was wonderful. He had great staff and kept everything organized and running smoothly. 250 miles later we met with him again to unload into our apartment and a storage facility. If we changed our minds about what should go where, he accommodated us. We even had some laughs along the way. I highly recommend Olympia and would never call on any other company. read more

Cannot recommend Olympia Moving enough! This was my second time using Ryan and his team, both times were they not only professional but made such a stressful process so seem less. We used them for a local move in 2021 in Philly, and again this month for a relocation to D.C. unlike most of the moving companies I was recommended from my husbands job, they were able to deliver our belongings within 48 hours vs. the 10-12 day windows most interstate movers quoted. On top of how quick they were able to transport, both the load in and unload were done in under 3 hours. During the process leading up to pick up day I was also able to communicate with Candace who reassured and confirmed things around the time and day multiple times. The team also packed a lot of my antique family possessions and all arrived safe and sound. The move went great. To say that Olympia was exceptional is an understatement. Originally, I was skeptical of hiring movers, thinking that me and a few buddies can do it. I'm glad that we opted and hired Olympia instead. The speed, pace, punctuality cannot be measured. Oscar and his crew were great professional and very fast. They arrived at my old home around 8:00AM and were completely done by 1:30PM. This includes loading the trucking, driving about 50 minutes to our new home, and unloading the truck. I'll tell you how good these guys were, I forgot that my BBQ grill was in the garage at the old house, well Oscar and his crew remembered as I saw them pulling it off their truck I was very surprised and happy that they remembered something I couldn't. Olympia was fantastic. I am a realtor and refer them to a lot of my clients and they always have wonderful things to say about their experience, but this was my first time working with them for my own personal move. We hired they for a pack and move. The team was so friendly, nice and efficient. We had A LOT of stuff and they came in and packed our home in half a day then did the load and unload the following day in record time with nothing getting broken. They were impressive from the start with their communication. We also had a Peloton Tread and they had a third party company come out to take it apart, then came back the following business day to assemble it again. Truly so impressed and hopefully I wont be moving for a VERY long time but I will continue to keep them as my preferred moving vendor for all of my clients. They are worth the price. I cannot recommend Olympia enough!! I had a very complicated situation with an ex that lead to using Olympia's moving and storage option for about a year and half. The team responded quickly to my initial inquiry for a last minute estimate. The estimate video walkthrough itself was thorough and quick. The movers were prompt, kind, and efficient. I even had to make a last minute change to the move the day of and they all made it happen - between the movers and the moving coordinator. Unfortunately, the situation with my ex escalated to a legal matter but Cole @ Olympia supported me through it. Cole was with me from day 1 doing the video estimate until the final clean out and disposal of the contents of the storage unit which, Olympia also handled as well! I got quotes from Olympia and 5 other moving companies in my area. Olympia provided the most competitive quote by FAR. I was surprised by this competitive quote because their technology to provide me with the estimate was also way beyond any other company's. They were able to assess my entire house via video technology and provide me with an estimate that was pretty spot on for the move (my total actually ended up coming in cheaper than the estimate which was a great surprise!) The men who did the move the day of were professional, quick, and knowledgeable. They broke down all of my beds and put them together perfectly. They even offered to shrink wrap furniture that would be stored in the garage for a bit. 10/10 stars and will continue to recommend them time and time again! read more
