I purchased my car from here just over a year ago. The staff here were super kind and transparent…read morewhen we were searching for a car to purchase. I will say I probably could have gotten my car for a bit cheaper elsewhere as my family recently purchased the same vehicle in better condition for cheaper at another dealership. I don't know if it just depends on the location as well, but I know where they reside in WA cost of living is more expensive than Olympia so I was bummed finding out that I paid a bit more. Once again, I'm no car deal so there may be things I just don't know! I will say it was my first time having to purchase a car so there are things on my end I should have done to have a better outcome with my used car in the future. While my car had no big problems when first purchased, a PPI would have likely shown me that my fuel pump assembly would end up needing to be replaced soon. That was almost $2000 to replace which is hard when you're still paying off your almost $10,000 loan. Once again, this is my fault as a consumer as I should have gotten a PPI prior to purchasing and you ALWAYS should when purchasing a used vehicle (it could save you thousands of dollars in repairs). Otherwise they have been great to contact whenever I had questions or concerns with the vehicle and always willing to help me. I'm pretty sure they said they are a family owned business and the father and two sons work there. They are SO sweet. I have nothing but kind things to say about this business and the fact that they explained every process and were patient with my millions of questions just proves to me they are good people. They truly are good guys!!

Not only was he very patient and helpful and helped me find what I needed to accommodate me and my kids.. he remembered my name after briefly going in there to look at cars the first time. We bought a 2017 Hyundai Sonata before the holidays for our son. We had them replace a cracked…read morewindshield and wanted an oil change also. The oil wasn't changed and we drove the car for a time brfore changing it. Immediately after changing, the car started using oil - adding 1 or 2 quarts a week. Our mechanic checked it and said he has seen this on many Kia and Hyundai cars. Over time, Robert said he has replaced 30-40 Kia and Hyundai engines. While looking at the car which we should've had him do, he found the front tires worn off in the insides and upon mesuring brake pads the fronts were gone and less than 2 percent left on the back pads. The upshot of all this is new brakes and tires for $1,700 and a replacement used engine for $8,750 - way more than we paid Platinum Auto. A word of warning: The Platinum lot looks nice with a lot of clean looking cars but they obviously don't do safety checks (cracked winshield, brakes, etc.). They didn't have service histories on this car and others we looked at. A real crap shoot if you shop with company!!! Go to a dealer that offers 90-day used car warranties with some decent mileage amount for your protection.

Pricing and turnaround is reasonable, probably better than you will find anywhere else. They have done serious engine repair for me, exhaust install, brake work, metal panel repair, alignment, transmission work, the list goes on and on... If you have a classic car, you know how much it means to you. Don't take it anywhere else, this is your shop.

There is a reason you see other reviews for this shop that have customers that have been coming to them for years! The labor rates are reasonable and they take the time to explain, and show you the issue. They're HONEST, and are not going to sell you a bunch of extra services you don't need, and they actually care about the work they do. I can tell you these things with the utmost confidence. I'm not a mechanic by any means, but I am mechanically inclined and can do some repairs myself. The hours of labor they quoted for the the repair were done by the actual amount of time it took them to do the job. Pricing for the parts were normal, but also, the quality of those parts were obvious. They were not some cheap junk, and there wasn't a huge markup like you're going to find with someone else. They have integrity, and that is a very rare trait in the automotive industry these days. Trust the reviews! I did, and they didn't disappoint! One very happy customer. Thank you guys! :)
