I had a great experience at platinum auto sales. I went to several other dealers. But still, I went…read moreback and saw Joe. Not only was he very patient and helpful and helped me find what I needed to accommodate me and my kids.. he remembered my name after briefly going in there to look at cars the first time. And when I came back, he welcomed me and worked with me on my price and budget. Thank you Joe!

We bought a 2017 Hyundai Sonata before the holidays for our son. We had them replace a cracked…read morewindshield and wanted an oil change also. The oil wasn't changed and we drove the car for a time brfore changing it. Immediately after changing, the car started using oil - adding 1 or 2 quarts a week. Our mechanic checked it and said he has seen this on many Kia and Hyundai cars. Over time, Robert said he has replaced 30-40 Kia and Hyundai engines. While looking at the car which we should've had him do, he found the front tires worn off in the insides and upon mesuring brake pads the fronts were gone and less than 2 percent left on the back pads. The upshot of all this is new brakes and tires for $1,700 and a replacement used engine for $8,750 - way more than we paid Platinum Auto. A word of warning: The Platinum lot looks nice with a lot of clean looking cars but they obviously don't do safety checks (cracked winshield, brakes, etc.). They didn't have service histories on this car and others we looked at. A real crap shoot if you shop with company!!! Go to a dealer that offers 90-day used car warranties with some decent mileage amount for your protection.

I was going through a divorce A newly single mom and was pregnant with my second child. I needed a safer car and They completely screwed me!! I had a 2005 Nissan Murano from them for maybe 3.5 months I paid over $4000 for it and have NOTHING from them now they saw my 9 month pregnant butt coming and they sold me the biggest piece of junk they could. Within 24 hours I tried to return it I took it to a mechanic and they told me it has around $1300 worth of repairs needed I came back to the lot in tears I was due in a week and they sold me a piece of junk! they PROMISED to help take care of anything that came up while I was making payments. Well I barely got to drive the thing because it was ALWAYS broken! It had over heating issues, I needed to install a new battery within a week then I couldn't even drive it to the hospital when I was in labor because it wouldn't start!!! It completely died on the highway with no warning or explanation just shut off! I called and they cleared a code only to have the same one come back so that it would die again a couple days later.. The windows would go up and down on their own. The back seat broke the very first time I laid it down. they said it was 'only cosmetic' & refused to help. a broken seat where my children sit is a SAFETY issue not COSMETIC. It had a Bad timing belt and many more issues. The last straw was when The ignition cylinder went out leaving my 6 year old and my barely 3 month old and I stranded in 100 degree heat. when I called them I only wanted to maybe to split a tow truck?? but the first thing they say "well what do you want me to do about it? You bought the car!" They're bullies and they're unprofessional. They jimmy rig the cars to drive long enough that you're stuck in a contract and you can't get any money back. Complete crooks. Never ever go here.

Instead after I got the car their they wanted a total new engine!!! And would not work with me. My original Machanic told me that it does not need that. They laughed at me and thought the situation I'm in was funny!!!! Needless to say I'm now gonna be possibly losing my job and don't know what to do

It had new tires and brakes and (would last a long time); so I was told. In only 2 weeks the vehicle overheated, I pulled over Immediately and called my parents ( I'm 17) we decided to tow the car to a shop. After the diagnostic, I was informed that there was an extensive coolant leak and my head gasket was blown and the block warped; a new engine was needed just to make the car road worthy. When I approached Cascade Motors about this I was told that the best they could do for refund was less than half what I paid for the car. They refused to consider any more, even though I'm just a kid and they most likely knew it was bad or lied to me about checking it out for safety before they sold it. After the loan, the time in the shop and towing fees I'm left in debt without a car. They sold me a horrible piece of merchandise if I could give zero stars I would. I would not recommend buying from this establishment--they do not safety inspect their vehicles before selling them, and if they say they do, ask them for proof.
