Wasn't able to actually try their product. Place is set up like your typical weighed fro-yo establishment. After we arrived, went to walk in and other patrons told us there was a line (this line was behind the curb on the street). No notices of business practices were posted. After the 2 other groups inside we went in. But, we're told to wait by the front door until the group ahead of us finished getting their fro-yo. While waiting, we did look at the pleasant looking regular and vegan pastries that were available. The group ahead of us had a child with them who was trying to reach for a topping handle, with the employee asking him not to touch. Eventually the kid did touch it and this became quite the clean up/sanitation issue (containers and handle changed out, product thrown away). Since they were no longer at the yogurt part we attempted to move forward, but were told we had to wait until the sanitized that area (but were unable to get to in the next few minutes we waited). After about a total of 20-30 mins of waiting, we gave up and left. Olo would really serve their patrons better if they posted their current practices somewhere outside to see and let people decide if they want to participate and/or wait. This would also help the employees to be able to do what they need to do without constant reminders, and without frequent irritations on themselves, to those visiting. read more

I've been coming here for a long time now, and I really like it. Their frozen yogurt is better than a lot of chains in town, and the customer service is really great. The atmosphere is cute and there's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating! read more

Stopped by for the Yelp event cookies and champagne on a Wednesday afternoon. Quick, friendly curbside service, got my cookie box and champagne along with a pint of chocolate FROYO. Looking forward to the Saturday Zoom gathering online. read more

Stopped by today to pick up Elite swag (yay!) and also picked up some desserts, too. During COVID (as of 1/2021), you get the yogurt yourself (hand sanitizer right next to the cups for clean handling), and the employee does the toppings for you (with gloved hands!). There was just one couple leaving as I went in, and a family coming in as I left, so I felt safe throughout. We got a plain tart with fruit and granola, a strawberry cupcake, green chile scone, and cookie kit to take home. Froyo was just as good as anywhere else, possibly better- and fruit was fresh. Unfortunately it's a little far for us, but if we're ever in the area and craving a treat, it's a great option! Service was super friendly and nice. read more

My new obsession is the churro cookie at Olo! They are perfection. They have the perfect balance of sugar and cinnamon. And I LOVE soft cookies with a crunchy outside. These cookies hit the mark 100%. I'm telling you, if you want the perfect treat-You MUST get some churro cookies:) read more

Olo Dessert Studio - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Albuquerque, New Mexico

This place is becoming our go to for Froyo. I love the local vibe you get when you're reading the flavor names. And the staff is friendly even when the place is crowded. I only wish they had a more significant outdoor seating area. But the location only limits the two tables, not the worst thing here because I do love the location. We can walk around after we finish our yogurt. read more

Olo is a non hill staple. I like coming in here because there is always a new exiting assortment of flavors besides the vanilla, chocolate and cake batter (which they always have). Near the cups they have dividers if you don't want the flavors to mix. Another plus is that they hand you some sample cups so that you can try the flavors before committing. They also have a HUGE assortment of both chocolatey and fruity toppings so there is something for everyone. It seems like Olo would be a really fun place to bring kids. The only thing I don't like about it is that I never know how much it will cost until they weigh it at the end and it usually ends up being more then I expected. read more

OLO is Boba's main competition in Nob Hill. However, OLO does a great job at highlighting New Mexican culture! My favorite yogurt was the UFO Pistachio. Shoutout to Roswell. The toppings are what you would expect but yummy, nevertheless. Don't be afraid to ask for samples! Honestly, that is half of the fun. read more

I visited NYC at the start of the Pinkberry trend and lived in Chicago when the fro-yo craze hit circa 2010, but this is hands-down the best fro-yo joint I've ever been to. There is an amazing selection of flavors. My favorites include: - Tart (the classic unsweetened yogurt, excellent with fresh fruit, mochi, Fruity Pebbles, Nerds, and gummy bears) - Dulce de Leche (amazing by itself, but possibly enhanced by Heath bar pieces) - Cupcake batter - Horchata (Olo owner, if you're listening, please keep this flavor on the menu! I promise I will be back to eat more of it.) - Banana Olo has one of the most diverse toppings bar I have ever seen. The best part? A fairly large bowl is around $3.50. I don't know about ABQ, but you could easily end up paying $5 in Chicago. (Olo owner, if you're listening, please disregard that. Your prices are your best selling point!) read more

This is a fun place to go. It is pretty and pleasant. There is seating available, but on summer time it probably gets tight. This is a make it yourself kind of place. You pour your frozen yogurt and then you add any toppings you want. Then, you go to the cashier and pay by the weight. The quality and taste of the products are excellent. Also, they let you sample as many flavors of frozen yogurt as you wish. And on cold days (don't remember the exact temperature number) the price per ounce drops, which makes getting a frozen yogurt an even sweeter deal. read more

I'm pretty confident that Olo is not just my favorite frozen yogurt in ABQ but my favorite just about anywhere. It has its flaws for sure, but it handles them well and keeps me coming back. So, in that spirit, let's talk bad news first. Parking is a pain in nob Hill and Olo is small, there's only a few tables and you may not be able to find a seat there when it's busy. Well, there. That was about it. As for why you should choose Olo: everything about it is just great. The decor is on point, the staff are friendly, and they always have great flavors available and a great selection of toppings which are kept in good shape. When I want desert more generally it can be a tossup between Olo and the Coldstone across the street, but when looking for frozen yogurt specifically I'll drive clear across the city to go to Olo. read more

Most froyo places are highly similar to one another, but some of them - such as Olo - stand out for subtle reasons. Olo has about 10 flavors, lots of fresh toppings (mochi!), reasonable prices, and high cleanliness standards. The sample cups are easily accessible, and they also usually have at least one no-sugar-added option. A negative is that Olo almost never has a full fat option, and I'm no fan of non- or low-fat froyo. read more

If you're craving some frozen yogurt don't hesitate to come here. I had a mix of raspberry and vanilla, little bit of citrus and creaminess. So so good. It's in a little downtown area of the university. There's parallel parking available on the street. We did a little circle around the ooo building itself and found more parking back there! read more

I've had a hard time finding a go-to fray spot in Albuquerque, but this place has grown on me. They have a variety of frozen yogurt flavors and toppings. The price per ounce is a bit steep compared to others (I often spend more than $4/trip), but maybe I've been heavy-handed on the toppings. The frozen yogurt itself is a little too grainy for my taste, and that's why I gave it a 4 instead of a 5. It's a clean, solid establishment, though. read more

Fellow Yelpers - you let me down on this one. I was sorely disappointed in Olo. The flavors were limited (6 of the options were variations of chocolate, vanilla, and cake batter). Toppings were nothing to write home about. I still remain confused as to why this town struggles with ice cream/fro yo options. The search for good froyo continues... read more

You certainly can't fault this place for friendliness! Awesome staff! The yogurt is very good, the toppings are plentiful and the prices are right. You know, the frozen yogurt competition in ABQ has gotten really tough in the last year or so. But Olo has done a great job keeping up with the competition. A wide selection of flavors (though not the widest of anywhere) sure helps. Whenever I'm in the area, you can find me here. read more

They have some awesome flavors and the topping selections are great. The staff is helpful and friendly. It is a great place to meet with friends. read more

As far as a frozen yogurt place this is the most convenient and has great toppings and flavors. They are completely okay with you getting as many samples as you want. The price is very typical and when been being strategic I can get a lot of dessert for $5. It's a fun place to go when you want a less unhealthy dessert. I also like the late hours. read more

I love me some frozen yogurt, and let's be real; my partner Leo likes it even more than I do. Ergo, when we had some down time before my class at Self Serve, we eyed this place and stopped by. Is it THE BEST YOGURT PLACE IN THE WORLD? No. However, it was still pretty tasty. Well organized, everything was clean, and while they only had 10 flavors, they were pretty good flavors at that. They had a fair amount of toppings, including some really fun ones that I haven't seen elsewhere. If only I was local so that I could try them all. I like that this place seems more locally oriented and not part of a chain, and I would definitely stop by again if I found myself near one. read more

Always friendly service! The cake batter yogurt is the next best thing to heaven. The toppings are fresh and chilled. Hits the spot on a hot day! read more

Olo Dessert Studio - That's all that's left! - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Albuquerque, New Mexico

Very Yummy! They have tons of toppings that are very fresh, as well as many yogurt options. The inside is also super cute. I love the fro-yo divider's if you don't want your flavors to mix! read more

My kids love this place. The yogurt seems to be cultured- which I like but I can see how some may think it is a bit sour or bitter. The kids love to go through the "treats & topping" bar themselves. the decor is awesome- amazing that it is an ABQ original not a chain. Definetly more like something you would find in a bigger city. read more

Not impressed with the flavors offered that day-- banana something, caramel, couple vanilla options, and lavender. Definitely had better elsewhere. read more

Stopped in here on a whim one afternoon while visiting ABQ. We tried their flavors before selecting, and ended up choosing cake batter, cherry vanilla, and red velvet. Oh my goodness, amazing. The toppings were fresh and the selection was awesome! (We appreciated the ginger and sea salt and black sesame seeds, too!) I put strawberries, mango, kiwi, gummy bears, and chocolate sprinkles on mine, and boyfriend put strawberries, mango, banana, and black sesame seeds. For both of us, the total was about $9. It was well worth the money and I was super pleased with the flavor selection and toppings. I wish we'd had time to stop by again before we left! I would come back to ABQ just to stop at Olo and get more yogurt! read more

Olo provided me with one of the best customer service experiences I have ever received. Owner Camilla went far beyond the extra mile to ensure my order was correct. Camilla was personable from the moment I stepped into the studio, making it clear that she and her husband take pride in their business and love what they do. I will definitely be returning for many future purchases and so should you! read more

Some of the best frozen yogurt! They have a wide variety of toppings as well as yogurt flavors! The staff is super friendly and always willing to help the best they can! They even have some pretty awesome dividers for the cup so that your gummies don't get too hard or if you just want to separate your topping from your olo! read more

Olo Dessert Studio - Fro-Yo! - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Albuquerque, New Mexico

This was where I escaped after many college exams during my time at UNM. They have a lot of tasty flavors and an even larger selection of toppings (mango boba, pieces of fruit, candy bars, caramel turtles, fruity pebbles, sprinkles, hot fudge, and the list goes on and on)! This is definitely my favorite spot for froyo, nothing else in town really compares to this. AND! You can get tiny samples of froyo for free before you fill your gigantic cup up with tastiness! read more

We weren't greeted upon arrival. Always a pet peeve of mine. I felt their selection was quite small, but all their toppings were great! I also like the fact that they have ready to take home tubs of different flavored yogurt to take home. The place was a little loud for my liking but i did enjoy my yogurt greatly! read more

Pretty damn delicious. The Yogurtists know what they are talking about and are very helpful. The yogurt flavors change by the week, and are hit or miss. You can test them all so no big deal. They always have at least 3 amazing flavors at a time. Great for fall nights in Nob hill read more

Olo had the most flavors to choose from, at least compared to other froyo that I have been too in ABQ. Deciding on a flavor was quiet the task, but they also provide dividers if you want to select multiple flavors AND don't want them to mix (what a cool thought). They also had so many topping options to choose from, which was a lot of fun. Although parking is always an issue in Nob Hill, it is a great place to stop by after dinner. read more

Lots of toppings. Many great flavors, and they do a great job of swapping out ones to keep the lineup fresh. A nice discount if you have a student ID. Use it to get 20% off a gift card, to give you more incentive to come back. read more

Holy cow what great frozen yogurt. Best I've ever had. The nicest staff; an old couple was coming in after they finished locking the doors and they unlocked the doors and let the couple in without hesitation. The staff was super friendly and super helpful. Healthy ingredients. 6/5 stars read more

I love these frozen yogurt places, and this one is local so it makes it that much better. The yogurt flavors are yummy and unique- caramel corn, pistachio, eggnog, etc... Good topping choices too, including homemade fruit sauce (they've had strawberry, raspberry, cranberry). I enjoy the store atmosphere as well. Only problem is it gets quite pricey, so I don't go often, and I think the price per ounce has gone up. (But they do have deals and a club to join.) read more

I love the selections of yogurt and toppings that this location has. They have everything from healthy, sugar-free options to not sugar-free. The yogurts are low-fat, though. I think my favorite flavor is probably cake batter...or red velvet. And the toppings? Olo has that covered. You've got healthy options with flax, various fresh fruits (including lychee which might just be the most interesting fruit ever), and granola. And if you are not interested in those, they've got lots of candy including chocolate, sprinkles, cereal, and other delicious bits. They even have yummy sauces to top it all off. Enjoy! read more

Please read my other review for all the juicy details on why this is a great spot for fro-yo. I am only updating to give a tip of the hat to the owners for responding to my concerns about one of their ingredients. The fact that they wrote to me personally to address my concerns and assuage my fears is quite meaningful. This is the type of business I like to support and I will continue to do so, especially as it gets warmer and I can justify eating their cold, creamy goodness. read more

When we went to Olo at the recommendation of a local, our party of six ranged from two to 68 years -- and all of us came away very well satisfied. The cute little cups offered for taking free samples meant that we all knew exactly how our own special flavor would taste. Adding to that helpful flexible feature was the ability to add just as many of each topping we wanted, rather than to rely on a wait-person to go light on the berries and long on the chopped-up Butterfingers (God's most perfect yogurt topping). When the bill was wrung up, it was (from our Manhattanite perspective) very reasonable, in part because the wee one in our group only got charged for the very small portion she could eat. All in all, this is the place to go in Albuquerque to get your yogurt fix. read more

I am more of an ice cream guy than a yogurt fan but this place opened my mind a little. There are a ton of flavors of yogurt (about 10) and you can try them all. Everything is self-serve and the price is based on weight. I though all of the flavors were pretty good but my favorite was the peanut butter. There's a goodie bar with fruit, candy, and all kinds of toppings. Everything was fresh and it was easy to make an impressive yogurt cup. There's tons of seating inside and it is a cool place to hangout or stop by for desert after dinner in Nob Hill. read more

This is by far the best self serve yogurt place in ABQ. I've been to the other 2 and Olo trumps them both. By far they have the best tasting yogurt, but also all of the toppings are clearly marked, you can actual sample the yogurt without the cashier's controlling what you get (like the others), and it's super clean and a great place to hang out. It's the only place for me to get great, fresh, good-tasting yogurt! read more
