I bought a large home in the La Costa area of Carlsbad and found that the irrigation system was a complete mess. The previous owners must have had their landscaper hand-water everything. I looked all over North County for the best company to work with to bring back an automated, comprehensive irrigation system. I found Olivio Irrigation and hired them to do the job. As I told Jose (the owner), I wish every contractor was as efficient and professional as he is. He knows irrigation systems like nobody else in town, and his technicians are also extremely experienced and knowledgeable when it comes to fixing broken irrigation systems. If you are within Olivio's service area and need irrigation system installation or repair, I highly recommend you go with them. read more

I will absolutely use Jose and his team again. With less than 24 hours notice came out, quickly came out and swapped some valves, capped off an old irrigation line and was off. Then his team came back later just to make sure everything had cured properly and the leaks wouldn't come back. Will definitely recommend these guys to others in the neighborhood. read more

Water was not draining from the back patio at my rental property. I had gotten quotes before but the price was absurdly high. The thing that made it tricky was that the previous owner had made the entire patio area brick with beautiful patterns. Whenever I got a quote the contractor made no effort and said all the brick would need to be replaced as it would be very difficult to match it. I got by for over a year because we didn't have any rain. Then with the recent rains the water pooling in the back occurred again and I knew I had to do something. I found Olivio on Yelp. I read the many positive reviews and am happy to be writing one myself. He was punctual, professional and communicated well with me. He was the only person willing to solve the problem and skilled enough to do it without making me tear up the whole back patio. With his very high tech equipment he located precisely where the stoppages were and repaired only those areas and was able to match the brick exactly with no problem at all!! It made me even more mad that the previous guys made absolutely no effort and just tried to charge me an astronomical rate. I am very please with the work and would highly recommend Olivo to anyone. See my pics showing all the roots that were pulled out of my pipes. read more

My yard was flooded during the last week-long rain. I called Jose on, get this: New Year's DAY, the holiday, and Jose came out to evaluate and give me an estimate. Him coming on the holiday along with his high Yelp rating got him my business. Jose and his team did a great and efficient job at a fair price, cleaned up after themselves thoroughly, and even reinstalled the grass they had to tear out to dig a new drain, which recovered just fine. Use Olivio Irrigation and Drainage Repair; they're ideal. read more

Our main water line to the house broke and based on a recommendation from a neighbor we called Olivio Landscaping to see if they could help. They got to work replacing the main line and did so in a very efficient manner (they even put together a temporary line so we could have water while they worked). Once they finished they cleaned things up so well you could barely tell there had been all this work going on. read more

Jose responded the same day to a sprinkler pressure valve issue that was causing an annoying sound. He diagnosed the problem and quickly repaired it along with fixing several other unrelated drip system leaks. All for a very fair price. What a great crew! After the recent storms, we had some backyard flooding around two of our drains. I had pulled up the covers but could not get them cleaned out with basic tools. We picked Olivio Irrigation & Drainage Repair based on all the great Yelp reviews and they were spot on. Mr. Olivio and his team were on time, got right to the problem, and were able to clean one drain, and replace another that had been clogged by a large root. They were thorough, quick, and left the yard looking like nothing had happened (despite a significant amount of new trenching)! Highly recommend. read more

Jose is amazing. Responds quickly and gets it done for a very fair price. Highly recommend Olivio.

For the 2nd time Olivio I&DR has saved my bacon with an emergency leak repair. Both times the leak was on the pressure side of my system. That means that water was flowing out of the ground and over my lawn non-stop. You know what water costs in San Diego! This time, Olivio I&DR found the leak 3 feet deep under a sidewalk, dug it out and did the repair in about two hours. And they are pleasant to work with. Nice people, from the owner through to the guys with the shovels and blowers. I recommend they fully! read more

We discovered we had a major leak in our irrigation system. We contacted Jose and he quickly assessed the situation and found where the leak was coming from. He did a great job explaining everything to someone who has very little knowledge of irrigation. He repaired the leak and he told me everything will be ok. I truly appreciated that, as he can see I was truly worried. I highly recommend, they were professional and knowledgeable of their work and it showed. read more

We found Olivio here on Yelp and had other estimates to fix a rather large irrigation system and fix drainage pipes. Jose walked us through solutions, and showed us areas that needed attention. We felt he & crew were very knowledge, courteous and reliable. Jose even came back twice to make adjustments (our wooden fence was getting a little wet), provided us with the best fair price, and followed up months later (now) to see how things were going. Excellent work, knowledgeable and good prices! read more

Contacted Olivio for a quote on irrigation removal and installation services. His prices were easily below competitors and his availability was very reasonable compared to others who either don't respond or aren't available for months. Olivio and his team exceeded expectations. Instead of capping old copper irrigation pipes they replaced the old copper pipes with completely new copper pipes for a better quality result. They also dug up two trenches for PVC piping and added new garden hose faucets. I will be using Olivio and his team for ALL future irrigation related services and have recommended them to family and friends already! read more

We recently used Olivio's services to install a controller and fix the wiring issue with the existing valves. They did a great job, no complaints about the service. The crew is very professional, courteous, and punctual. Communication went without a hitch both via text and phone. Very responsive to follow-up calls. Just an observational comment: the service rates appear to be on the expensive side. We didn't have time to get additional bids for the job, so it's possible that the rates are competitive.  Still, we felt like it was a bit too much. read more

I had tree roots in my drainage pipes and I called Olivia Irrigation and Drainage. They knew just how to fix my problem and they were very professional. I had called a previous Plumbing and Pipeline company last year in San Diego, and they sent two young guys that didn't know what they were doing and still expected payment, they wouldn't even negotiate with me since the job was not done. Olivia went above and beyond and I would highly recommend them to anyone for irrigation and drainage repair. read more
