PLEASE READ: Richard…read moreGoddard and crew are as untrustworthy as they come. I hired Richard to paint my home and was promised many things which were as empty as they come. My experience with Richard and crew was great at first, but of course that was when Richard was asking for payments when the job wasn't even 75% complete. When it came time to fix the issues that his crew caused to my home, he was nowhere to be found, he didn't even have the decency to come out and look at the issues. Richard even denied the problems that his team caused thru email and he didn't even call to discuss which is as unprofessional as it gets. The only time I saw Richard was when it was time to cut a check and that's it. His crew even bad mouthed him while doing the work. I'm also not the only customer that Richard's team has had issues with. Multiple neighbors have complained to me as well as the car wash in town who also was very unhappy with the work done by Goddard's. Do not hire him! He's full of it And the only reason why he gets one star is because in order for me to post this I have give it one. Such a shame for a very good paint job done to be ruined by stupid mistakes and complete utter unprofessionalism.

So we were looking for a company which both paint and do carpentry work to fix all the wood rot around the house and paint afterwards. Our contractor friend, Lenny Sims, recommended Rich Goddard. He gave us a reasonable price for fixing the wood around the house/deck and paint all of the exterior. We were expecting some patch work but his Guatemalan crew (he has multiple) was very professional and very hard working. They washed the house, scraped off the paint in bad areas to expose wood rot where we didn't even notice, actually replaced the wood in many places and not just use wood filling, and then beautifully painted the entire exterior including gutters, door, windows, etc. When they finished, everything was cleaned up nicely. It was beyond our expectations and worth the cost. Our contractor friend said they are not cheap but can't be cheap with good quality. Definitely recommend their work. Beautifully done.

After WE did the research we found out that the plumbers did not use the correct clamping tool for the pek lines. When brought to the plumbers attention (Chuck's brother Dave) he was unaware that a specific clamping tool was needed! How is that even possible? We ultimately hired a different plumber to resolve the issue (yes, WE had to pay to correct our builders mistake). Next was the heating system, again Chuck's brother Dave (CJM Plumbers). Another issue WE had to pay another HVAC person to correct. Wrong placement of system to cover the second floor. We had to add a third system to adequately heat the second floor. Fast forward to today, we decided to add crown moldings, wainscoting and change paint colors. Dark colors are not forgiving to wall errors like lighter paints. Low and behold what do we see, tons of screws that were not "sunk" in the wall board as they should have been, not to mention literal "waves" in the walls that should never have been. Don't tell me that Chuck and Brian did not notice this, they were just happy that we did not before our warranty expired. If you are looking for a "quality" builder that uses quality subcontractors, keep looking.

Finding someone that can give you a real budget, who communicates well, and is reliable; however, we consistently failed to find such a person until we met Stan. He was not only an absolute pro but a delight to work with, who listened to all of our needs and clearly explained all the processes and expenses, had a wonderful and amazing team who were professional, capable, kind and fun to be around. Not to mention how fast and effective he and his team were at finishing the renovations before our baby arrives. Stan also had wonderful suggestions for some of the renovation ideas that we had in mind. If we have any other construction work, we would call on Stan and his team in a heartbeat. Thank you for preparing our house for this new chapter of our family :)

Will do things the right way, and is very courteous to my requests. Always shows up on time and turnaround time is always reasonable. This time I had a kitchen fully gutted and redone, pricing was competitive, but between all the work to be done. Electrical, plumbing, framing, granite etc. Stan coordinated it perfectly and I wish I took a before picture, because this picture doesn't do it justice. I am beyond happy and better yet my wife is . Needless to say, Thank you again Stan and your crew, you did a great job
