They don't have a bar but you're allowed to BYOB. They provided us with cups with ice and even gave us a water bottle. They had a DJ and he was playing all the right songs to go with the chill vibes. This is the most terrible hookah lounge I've ever been in a while. This place doesn't care about the customer and just find a way to up-charge you. I was here on a Friday night and was cover charged 10$ each. They said there would be a DJ starting at 10 and yet nobody there till 10:30 and we left. I've been to this hookah lounge on a few occasions and enjoyed the ambiance. The music has always been hit or miss with them using YouTube to play music from a laptop. The BYOB is a bit ridiculous but I can understand from a business perspective is removes certain liabilities and licensing hoops. I recently went back after not coming here for months. As I approached the front they asked for a cover charge. In shock I asked the front door man to repeat and I heard correctly. Whomever is running this establishment now isn't a good business person. First, you can't have BYOB and a cover charge. Choose a struggle, buddy. That's just greedy. Now people are out whatever they spent on liquor and your front door cover. Then you want us to come in and spend more money on hookah? Come on. It's just not even a smart business move. I left, with bottle in hand bc the owner should realize one thing. You're not catering to your immediate location. Very few people from Milford are patronizing your business. Your clientele is from the surrounding cities and towns so not only are many of us driving to your establishment from two towns away, with a bottle we PAID for, to spend time at your business where you were too cheap to get a liquor license, but then you ask for a cover charge and we STILL have to purchase a hookah?! No. And I don't care if the cover is $10 or $20, it's the principle. We have to stop allowing businesses like this that cater to black and brown communities to get over. The music, decor and ambiance is great but the service is poor. The hookah barely lasts and the hookah girls stay on their phones all night in the corner, you can't even get their attention to get help or a refill. Terrible because I really looked forward to going here. read more

I have been to the hookah bar twice now and have had a few types of flavors. I love the byob aspect of it and that you can also get some food from the amazing Olive Tree next door. Went there with a group of 6 and everyone was impressed. The owner showed us how to get the hookah ready and guided us through the flavor choices. I'm very surprised that when I visited this spot on a Friday night it wasn't busy at all. One of the most appealing things about Olive Tree Hookah is the location for Milford locals. You don't need to venture all the way out to New Haven or Fairfield and this is place is just by the hospital. They charge $25 for one hookah and you can bring your own drinks without any judgement. We were greeted as soon as we walked through the door. The staff working was super friendly checked up on us and the coals often. We were given a clean disposable hose as well as mouth pieces. In addition, the venue has a large dance floor in the center giving it a lot of potential to be a party spot. I did not try the food but I have been next door at their restaurant and do enjoy what they have to offer. Adding this place to my local night spots. read more

I went to this hookah lounge last night and it was such a pleasant surprise. I arrived around 11pm and Arabic music was being played which is of course to be expected and I don't mind some songs here and there. After a while hip hop and reggaeton started to be played. The lounge is very spacious and nicely decorated as if you were in an Arabic country. They also allow BYOB which is always a plus. This lounge is great compared to some others in the area mainly due to its size but also the quality of the hookah. The first set up was a little weak but soon after a man came over and switched out the coal it was way better. I had the mint with lemon flavor which was very good. The hookahs are about $30 each. I went with 2 other girls so it was 3 of us smoking and the total came to $40. I will definitely be going back. read more

I enjoyed that it's BYOB and they have bottle openers and corkscrews if you forget to bring your own. They also have menus so that food can be delivered to your table from Olive Tree next door. Visited for the 1st time on Saturday night. I could have stayed in this place all night; the atmosphere and service made it perfect for kicking back with my date. The hookahs are legit, high quality, and the staff come by frequently to replace coals and check on things. We had a mango flavor hookah and Arabic coffee/tea. They do not serve alcohol, but allow BYOB. Plenty of space and room to enjoy a quiet date or large party. Music is decent and they were also playing basketball game. read more
