Chicken & broccoli
A.J. C.

Large party of us on a Friday night. Servers were really nice. All the food was good but the salads & soups took forever to come out. Brother ordered a chicken gnocchi & got skipped. Not a big deal. But then others got gnocchi refills before he got his soup. Then his daughter got a third bowl before he got his. The food came out pretty fast (soon after the soup). So it took about an hour before he got soup (after he finished entree)! Otherwise the servers were attentive & friendly. My chicken & broccoli was awesome, hot and cooked perfect.

Our server dalton!!

The food was amazing as always, but my review is prompted by our server, Dalton. Not only was he super friendly and prompt, but he answered every question we had and took time to make us feel like we were welcomed! Dalton, if you see this, you're awesome.

I have been hanging on to my receipt since February because I wanted to make sure I sat down and wrote this interview when I had the time. I never have high expectations when eating at an Olive Garden, but this was one of the best customer service dining experiences I've EVER had. A friend and I went here for dinner before going to see a movie. We had planned to go to a different restaurant, but it had an hour wait, so OG was our backup. They were crazy busy, but gave us a pager and seated us as soon as they could. We were pretty tight on time at this point, which we told our waitress, Cindy -- and she did absolutely everything she could to get us out of there on time. We started off ordering drinks, which the manager herself grabbed from the bar and brought to us (since they were so busy she was clearly jumping in to help and she was so nice). The drinks were AMAZING. The perfect level of sweetness! Right after we got the drinks -- seriously, maybe 6 to 8 minutes after we ordered -- we both got our food AND it was great. So not only did it come out of the kitchen quickly, it tasted great. Cindy brought our check shortly afterward before we even thought to ask, and we were in and out of there and on time to the movie. Even though it was clearly a jam-packed, high-stress night, Cindy was polite and funny, made conversation with us, and provided excellent service. Seriously, we were absolutely blown away by this. Hats off to the management team here, you rock!

Felt rushed. Pasta came out at the exact time we got our salad. Salad was skimpy with no croutons. Was never offered cheese. No mints either

Pho Ever is a casual family-owned Vietnamese eatery in Lorain. My visit to this restaurant was not…read morepre-planned. I was in the area at the Lorain Library (main branch), and was craving a cozy meal. Pho Ever had a catchy name and was only a few minutes away (drive). What's more cozy than pho? I made a quick and good decision to visit. AMBIANCE: The restaurant is one open space simple cultural decor. The space well fits groups and single guests. Multiple comfy booths are available along one of the walls and there are plenty of tables. Decor includes Nón Lá (Vietnamese conical hats) around the perimeter of the restaurant, vases and flowers, wood carved rooster art, prosperity wall hanging with laughing Buddhas, and other decor typical of Asian restaurants. There is also a blue sky ceiling fragment. The atmosphere is very simple and casual. The restaurant is not the cleanest. That includes the floor, the bathrooms, the tables, and teapots. Everything could use a deep clean. FOOD/DRINKS: The menu features appetizers, rice plates, vermicelli stir-fry, pho, fried rice, ramen noodles, combination plates, and optional add-ons. Drinks were not on the menu. There are few pictures of the menu items to point you in the right direction. Each dish has alphanumeric value for simple ordering. I noticed that the prices are pretty value-oriented less than many other comparable restaurants. I ordered my default Vietnamese restaurant order - pho, rolls, and hot tea. More specifically, A3 (2 charbroiled pork rolls, $5), A4 (charbroiled chicken rolls, $5), P3 (pho with eye round steak and well-done brisket, $14), and jasmine tea ($2 for a tea pot). Rolls had a generous amount of meat. I loved pork rolls, but didn't like the chicken. I found it to be too dry. I did not use the accompanying sauces since spice is not my favorite. Pho included a large portion, plenty of meat, but the broth had some slightly lemony undertone that wasn't my favorite. Jasmine tea was perfectly hot and light. It was a very comforting meal due to hot tea and hot pho. I also loved that the food was delivered with a pouch with chopsticks, fork, spoon, and big spoon for pho. SERVICE: The service was very pleasant, quick, and accommodating. There was one waiter serving quickly filling dining room. He was excellent and very attentive! I was seated very quickly. My food impressively arrived within minutes. All other guests had all their questions answered with patience. Huge compliments on the service! The restaurant was extremely accommodating to groups. They expeditiously moved tables together for large dinner groups. I was at the restaurant before 6 PM and the restaurant was already almost full with more people pulling into the parking lot. It seems like it's a popular local destination. PARKING: There is plenty of parking available to customers. Dedicated parking lot rather than shared plaza arrangement. My experience was pretty positive. I was especially impressed with the excellent service. It wasn't the best Vietnamese food that I experienced, but pretty good for a casual Sunday meal. While I wouldn't go out of my way to travel here, I'd definitely stop in while in the area.

Service was very good. The fresh rolls were big but could have used a few more shrimp for the size…read more My pho Tia Nam was good but not great. The broth had decent flavor and they serve a good portion of meat which was tender. I would come back.

People, I'm being serious here. I love Brassica's falafel…read moresandwich. I love everything about it; the warm, soft pita, the crunchy fresh made falafels, the sauce and veggie add-in options (I usually go Baba and eggplant). Tip- whatever option the sandwich maker suggests just say yes :) Pile it in....the pita can handle it! Every bite is delicious. The sandwich is built so every bite captures a little of everything. The happiest part of my day is knowing I'm going to eat at Brassica. The saddest part of my day is staring at the last bite knowing it's over....no more. I can't tell you how the other options are at Brassica with exception of the fries...a nice addition to the sandwich with the garlic mayo sauce. I'm confident whatever you choose will be a winner but I command you to go with the falafel sandwich first! I'll be back.....just not soon enough.

I got a hummus plate on accident (it's literally a plate of hummus with toppings) and I don't even usually like hummus like that but this was phenomenal. I added all the toppings possible and also chicken. All the toppings are fresh and flavorful. My favorite was the cucumbers and radish which had the perfect amount of vinegar sharpness and crunch to balance out the meal. I do think one pita isn't enough for the amount of hummus so I took it home and had it with fresh cucumber slices and it was divine. I also tried the chicken pita sandwich which was yummy but I think next time I would get a salad plate. I also tried the fries which were fried nicely and seasoned wonderfully. Would highly recommend!

Super Easy solution: add a couple baseboard heaters & temps will stay constant! Food was another matter. About half was satisfied since about half had an issue. My Patty Melt was laughable. Smallest sandwich I've seen served at an actual restaurant. At 8.69 it was a rip-off.. DQ has a burger fry sundae & drink for $7 & is comparable. The bread is likely sliced in house b/c it is half thickness of a regular slice of bread. It was over grilled like a crouton too. But the real disappointment was the minuscule amount of grilled onions hiding underneath the 1/8th pound burger patties. I also asked for mayo on it & didn't get any!! Shoulda got regular Oh boy which is cheaper, has twice the bread, ton of lettuce compared to my onion, and comes w/ sauce vs. my no mayo. Other complaints: cheeseballs were not as good since they confirmed they switched suppliers. They're actually curds now. Onion rings were overfried & really dark which was fine but they were actually not warm so they musta sat in window too long. A few liked their super OhBoys but at $13, it's an average value. Chicken wrap was a value but needed more sauce / kinda dry. Service: We asked if garden burger had chunks of veggies or a Griller type & she said no veggies but it was indeed that type. A couple other mess ups w/ missed toppings & sides & pop missing syrup rounded out the visit.

I have visited your restaurant many times and have always appreciated the fresh variety your menu…read moreoffers. However, I wanted to share concerns regarding two recent visits. On Sunday, May 10, 2026, I attempted to order a baked potato and was informed that the restaurant was out of potatoes. This has happened on previous visits as well, and we chose not to stay because the item I specifically wanted was unavailable. Wanting to give the location another opportunity, we returned on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at approximately 5:30 pm. Several employees saw us waiting at the counter but did not acknowledge us. Once again, we decided to leave due to the lack of service. These two experiences-limited menu availability and poor customer service-have been very disappointing. Additionally, we have noticed that several seating sections are consistently closed which limits available options for dining. I generally do not write reviews; however, we truly enjoy the fresh selections your restaurant offers, and I am hopeful that sharing this feedback may help improve service and ensure proper inventory levels. I am not requesting any compensation, nor would I accept it. My goal is simply to see this location improve, as recognizing an issue is often the first step toward resolving it. Sincerely, Angela
