And continued to raise prices. Then they reduced portions- in the happy days, I was unable to see the bottom of the plastic container of a small signature salad, because product volume used to cover it. I mean I'm olderish and it was a bit confusing. Many toppings are an up charge. I think it was pricey. For a bowl, a wrap and a Diet Coke it was 43.00. I ordered the chicken tinga wrap. I did not love it. I didn't realize there were black beans and I felt like those didn't go with that vibe. The place inside was cute and clean. At checkout it asks if you want to leave a tip?!?! Come on man. For what? A person bringing out my meal. I would give it one more try- not horrible but definitely didn't love it.

My bowl included egg white noodles, grilled chicken, cabbage, snow peas, mushrooms, broccoli, and sesame garlic sauce. Overall, my stirfry was good, but could've used a little more sauce. The chicken was very bland, but if you paired it with the other items, it was pretty tasty. I typically want something a little sweet after my savory meal, so I ordered the apple pie dessert. I added mini vanilla wafers just for my own personal touch. The streusel topping is a little crunchy, buttery, and sweet. The combination of the sweet, buttery, and apple flavors were delicious.

Now that I'm thinking back I believe she was the only waitress at the time because THE Melissa (owner and head chef) came out from the kitchen to help take food and drink orders. Our table had a feeling she was Melissa and when we asked she said "yes"!! We were so excited and had multiple questions to ask her lol. We found out everything is made to order with fresh ingredients. Melissa had great suggestions and had a sweet genuine demeanor. I apologize in advance because I only took pics of my food but my family ordered the bacon wrapped meatloaf, roasted chicken risotto, and salmon entrees. Coffee was fresh and hot and the prosecco was nice and chilled. I can see this place becoming a staple in our family to come and eat a tasty heartfelt meal.

I found Türkiye a foodies paradise and Istanbul Grill has certainly captured that same spirit. As I found in Türkiye, the people at Istanbul Grill are so kind, gracious and welcoming. The service is amazing! The ambiance is simple but extremely clean with beautiful photographs of the city. I had to drag my boyfriend by the hand and take him on a visual tour of the city with their photos. "Excuse me, I just need to interrupt your dinner so we can squeeze in behind you so I can show him this picture." OK , I was obnoxious, but that is how excited I was to see all of the beautiful photos. The ONLY recommendation I would ever give is that they make lamhacun more often than just Sundays! I would absolutely request to sit in his section again! He was very attentive, answered our questions, had a lot of passion, and really seemed to care! He also got our orders just right with all the special requests - which he assured us was the perks of their restaurant making things for each dish - you can customize as you need. Three of us had burgers: - Heckburger as listed on the menu, with fries - Heckburger with chicken patty, heck sauce on the side, Swiss cheese, no tomatoes or onions, and substitute onion rings for fries (slight upcharge) - Salmon burger with onion rings Burgers were delish. The brioche bun makes it! The chicken patty was great flavor! Both the fries and the onion rings were delicious. I'd likely order the fries instead of the onion rings next time. We were all happy with our meals and would order them again! Our fourth person ordered a half house salad and the wild mushroom ravioli. The house salad was a generous size and very good! The wild mushroom ravioli was soooo good! The pasta was delicate and the flavors went so well together. Our server shared that the pasta is made at Antica Italian restaurant right next store! After trying that dish, I'd absolutely go to that restaurant too. The restaurant has a great bar and a decent size outdoor seating area too! It's very nicely decorated too. I hope to return!
