I initially booked an olive oil tasting but later discovered that it was more of an educational thing where you have to sit in a room. With a baby and a dog , I was hoping we can just enjoy that outdoors but they weren't able to accommodate. I hope sometime in the future they can change that . Instead of the olive oil tasting , I decided to have lunch outdoors. It was such a beautiful day and a tad windy . We started with some cocktails. Pomegranate Margarita : 5/5 it was the perfect blend of tangy , slightly sweet and the salt rim balanced all the flavors nicely. Also , it was pretty strong . Charcuterie $45 : Wow the presentation for this charcuterie was beautiful . Everything on the board was yummy and was a nice snack for grazing and enjoying it with the cocktail . I really liked the sweet walnuts , olives , wagyu sausage , pickled carrots , cauliflower , & the fig jam . 5/5 French onion soup $20 : I never really think to get a french onion soup but I was convinced that this was the best thing ever .. and guess what ?! It was !! This was probably the best french onion soup i've ever had . It was super rich , savory , and slightly sweet from the carmelized onions . It also had some delicious melted gruyère cheese that was oozing with the soup . The puff pastry on top was soo good . It was nice and comforting . 5/5 Prosciutto and Brie $30 : Dare I say this was probably one of the tastiest sandwiches ever ?! I can't believe prosciutto and brie can taste this good . The combination of garlic aioli , pickled shallots , red onions with farm greens mixed in the sandwich really brought out all the flavors. The only downside is for the portion idk if it justifies the price 4.5 /5 Ordered a special Pre fixe menu that came with farm salad with Quinoa + Olive oil icecream puff pastry dessert $30 + 10 salmon add on to salad . Salmon quinoa salad : This dish was super simple but the fish was cooked to perfection . It was super moist and the quinoa was fluffy and the salad was nicely dressed . 5/5 We had a great time and the food was fantastic. I'm really happy this place was dog friendly and family friendly. It's so hard finding places that accommodate both . Service was great . Luis did a good job on making sure we were taken care of . He was always checking in on us during our meal and was even whispering when the baby was napping . A+ service . Overall this place is a hidden gem . It's a tad pricey for lunch but the quality and service makes it worth it . We will definitely be back again to try the other delicious foods !

Because they have a small farm, there is a bit of a smelly aroma outside. We had the French onion soup, which was enclosed by a puff pastry and had gruyere cheese inside, torch shaped pasta with squash and pancetta and breadcrumbs, and a Brussels sprouts Caesar salad with crispy prosciutto. Every dish tasted magnificent. I like them all equally. Tastefully seasoned and cooked well to make the flavors stand out along with beautiful presentation. My critiques would be that the melted cheese from the French onion soup would solidify get stuck on the spoon and some of the larger Brussels sprouts on the salad were a bit tough. Pasta was a tad bit salty but still great. We had two scoops of gelato for dessert- olive oil with a hint of lemon zest and flakey salt and chocolate. Both were creamy delicious and not too rich. Our server was nice and explained some of the food items to us. After lunch, my friend and I walked around the garden and enjoyed the views surrounded by the vineyards.

Performed some great oldies which went great with our visit and glasses of wine. We spent good out here, the location filled up fairly quickly. Some were celebrating a birthday others already had their tables reserved and some like us, just happen to pop up at the right time. They have nice seating set up inside but we enjoyed the outside seating much better as it was a beautiful day out. Some tables do have umbrellas with them. The two workers this day were polite and would walk outside to check on each guest ensuring that they were okay during their visit, which was a nice added touch. I was looking for a menu that had a charcuterie board option, but did not seem to see one, although I did notice a nice stack of boards behind the counter. They also have a small refrigerated area that has premade platters that you would find like in a grocery store that resembles a charcuterie board or a cheese platter.. but for the time that we were there checking it out for the first time, we enjoyed ourselves, our wine selection, our breadsticks, and just the overall great people that were there that day. It was nice to try out a new winery.

What a lovely shop! A friend of mine told me about a "vinegar tasting" store and was like, "Why…read morewould I want to taste vinegar." But now I totally get it! The shop ladies were so super friendly and kind. They said we could try any of the balsamic vinegar flavors mixed with sparking water if we wanted to. (But I thought these were only for salads? So wrong of me!) They have a glass jug with the sample flavor of the day already mixed with water. That was the first one I tried: Cranberry Pear. Ooh!!! It was so delicious. Not what I thought it would be. It tasted like a soda without all the sugars. It was actually quite refreshing and delightful. I asked what their top 3 flavors were: - Cranberry Pear - Peach - Sicilian Lemon I decided to try Peach. She added sparking water to it. Omg! That was even more delicious. I'm pretty sure any of these flavors will be a hit. Different flavored vinegars and olive oils adorned the walls! Each flavor has a sign with its name, what they are best used for, and what they are best paired with. I wish I could try them all but I can save that for another visit. They also sell pastas, tea towels, little bowls, and other cute things to go with their products. Also found out that Maison Benoit uses their products at their bakery. Love local businesses supporting each other!

I looked up the store address and went to get additional bottles because we loved them so much. When I got to the store, I was amazed by all the selections and the incredible flavors. Jenn was very helpful as I tried to narrow down my interests. I went to the store intending to get two bottles - and I left with 6! I wanted so many more but convinced myself to enjoy the 6 bottles and then return soon and try more. This place is a treasure chest. I've lived here for years and had no idea it existed. Now, it's my favorite store in the tri-valley. And it's the perfect place to buy gifts.

I took my friend here, as she had never been to More Than Olives and she is a culinary connoisseur…read more This is the first place where I learned the health benefits and drink cocktail benefits of balsamic vinegars. I've used their raspberry balsamic vinegar in my cooking, salad, and as a digestion aid. There are many healing properties with olive oil and balsamic vinegar, while making different foods, even drinks, even more flavorful! You can sample their olive oils and balsamic vinegars before making your purchase, and the staff teach you about each vinegar and oil type. I've learned an abundance of cooking tips while sampling! What I also enjoy here is they have a variety of foods, skin and hair care products, sweet treats, and more, so it is a perfect business for buying goodies for yourself and to gift! The staff always check on you and make sure you are taken care of, as they answer your questions and give helpful recommendations. I look forward to bringing more friends and family here in the future! How the More Than Olives team treat you and how clean their store is, organized their items are, all give such a welcoming feeling and I find myself wanting to stay longer when I'm here because there are still items I haven't had the chance to check out yet! The wooden design of this store helps make me feel at home. This is one of my fav businesses to support because of their excellent customer service and their delicious and smooth olive oils and balsamic vinegars!

Shoutout to Folsom, CA. More Than Olives shop in Historic Folsom…read more I had no idea what to expect as I walked in. Would there be jars of olives? Olive themed merch? Hmmm. What I found were large steel containers of different flavors of olive oils and vinegars. The names and flavor profiles are written on each container. You can sample. You'll need to ask the employees for assistance. But with only a limited number of employees working in the weekends, assistance goes sideways quickly. A bit of a free for all in getting assistance. Yup, and of course they did have jars of olives. And small gifts such as pinch bowls, kitchen towels, garlic plate grater, etc. Plus they had olive oil based body lotions, balms, and oils. I sampled the lotions. They rubbed in easily onto my skin. Went on with a nice thickness and texture and dried with a light luxuriousness. No overpowering smell.
