My girlfriend and I were walking around to waste time before her appointment. We walked into Amphora and we were both blown away. The store itself is immaculately cleansed when we walked in, we were pleasantly greeted by Jane. She was so informative and friendly that I even walked out with a facial serum made out of olive oil. She blew our minds away when she mixed a little bit of seltzer water with balsamic vinegar, and it was super amazing, we didn't have time to try everything so we have to save that for our next visit. I like the fact that this company has been a family owned company for the last century. We also love that all the products that we did sample were very high in quality. we loved it so much, we can't wait till we visit and Amphora again.

GREAT time with friends doing the tasting session. We learned so much about olive oil and had great snacks all made with their products!

I got the spicy chicken Mexicana -- not what you'd expect from an Italian spot, but they pull it off. The heat builds on you in the best way, and the pasta itself has that fresh, made-today quality that you just can't fake. The cheesy garlic bread was dangerously good -- the kind of thing you tell yourself you'll save for the end and then demolish before the entrée arrives. And the meatballs on the side? Tender, well-seasoned, and substantial. Not an afterthought. The vibe inside is casual and comfortable -- the kind of place where you actually want to linger rather than rush out. Service was warm and unhurried without being slow. This place has been doing its thing since 1992, and you can feel that quiet confidence in every dish.

I had the Tortellini with garlic marinara and it was phenomenal. My dad had the chicken garlic pasta and it was rich in flavor and cooked to al dente perfection. 5/5 Service: Bread was at our table right after we ordered. I drink water very fast and my water cup never went empty. Our server was great! 5/5 We went around 1:20 pm on a thursday and the place was empty other than us. There is limited seating availability, but it was very pretty inside and smells amazing Overall a great place to go if you're craving italian in the Dublin/Pleasanton area!

We enjoyed the Sauvignon blanc and espresso martini. The starter warm bread with herbed olive oil was perfect with the wine. We ordered mushroom soup to be shared between two and it was delicious. Chicken piccata and prawn Chittara were freshly made and one of the bests we have had so far. Our server Roberto was very polite and the service was very quick. Definitely we will try dinner here with whole family. There is plenty of parking outside.

The bread is outstanding, akin to a baguette with its crusty outside and plush interior. I wonder if they bake it fresh in house, what with the bread arriving steaming and hot to the touch. The oil that accompanies it is spectacular too, perfectly acidic with the balsamic vinegar contrasted by the acrid olive oil. All entrees are delicious though not the best in show by any means. For a casual restaurant though, the libations have no business being that delicious. I had an old fashioned, something of a go-to as of late. Leaves nothing to be desired. Truly just an archetype old fashioned, a symphony of bitters and whiskey. Dessert at the end was tiramisu, which was a good tiramisu. Such is expected at an Italian spot though.

Thick wheat bread slathered with butter and smashed together was a favorite treat when I would come home from school. Yep, I'm a lover of the butter. So when I saw this tube of Cinnamon Molasses butter laying on the corporate kitchen counter during Wed bagel day this morning, I thought hmm. I was not tempted though, until another gal tried some and pronounced it just like Cinnamon Toast or 'your grandmother's cinnamon rolls'. Well Grandma never made cinnamon rolls, it was more like arroz con pollo, but I can imagine how good they would have been since her cooking skills are sick. I slathered some on and made my way back to my corporate cube. The first bite...HOLY CRAP! This stuff is the bomb. One of my other coworkers guiltily showed up in the kitchen with a 1/4 of a bagel saying she had already had one but that butter was so good she had to have another tiny bit. According to one of my coworkers, a neighbor of someone here makes these and gave them some samples. Gosh, I wish I had neighbors like that. Locally made, fatty, flavored butter? Sign me up. I wish they sold not just in bulk but if they had a variety pack in bulk, I WOULD BUY IT!!!!! Garlic chive butter? That would be amazing on a thick juicy grilled steak. Orange ginger? Mix that into some cream cheese frosting for a tangy kick. And yes, the Cinnamon Molasses. Catch me sneaking into the kitchen for another 1/4? Heck no, I'm having me a 1/2.
