Suggestions would be to warm the buns and to offer cheddar cheese (I am not a fan of American "cheese" but I am sure some people like it). They do have Swiss. Tried regular and sweet potato fries. While i've had great experiences at lots of restaurants, there aren't many that are consistently amazing. This is one of those places. I've been here at LEAST a dozen times and have never had a bad experience. On the one or two occasions where something was slightly different than what was ordered, it was taken care of immediately. Get the burger, preferably the Avocado Burger, or the House Burger. Chicken Strips (not nuggets) from the kids menu are also great and appear to be made with solid white meat. The burgers are big, full of flavor and just all around really good. Chicken burgers are decent too, but not as great as the regular beef burgers. Staff is always polite and friendly, so not much more I can ask for. read more

Sadly, this place use to be great. I guess once they opened multiple locations the quality of the food went extremely down. Went two days ago and ordered a fried chicken sandwich once I opened my box looked like they just took the chicken patties out of the freezer and slapped them on the bun, so horrible! Awesome sauce! This didn't disappoint after hearing so much about it. I would put this on top of Jimmy's burgers. Ordered the ultimate cheese burger that comes with avocado and bacon and the chicken sandwich. Both were delicious but surprisingly I liked the chicken sandwich better. The jalapeño ketchup is just as good as everyone here says it is lol. First visit last night with a group of burger fanatics who said that this is their new favorite....and it didn't disappoint. I had the House Cheeseburger with regular fries - I couldn't have asked for either to be any better. Others had the sweet potato fries and love them. One of my favorite halal burger joints. Clean, efficient, and consistent. The restaurant itself is clean, with pictures of 50's-70's Americana fixed onto the walls, giving off a very chill vibe. The burgers are fantastic. Though they are a bit pricey compared to other options, in the case of Olive Burger, you get what you pay for. One nuisance is that they don't have jalapeno ketchup in individual bottles on tables, so you need to go to where the fountain drinks are and pump it into one of those tiny ketchup cups. read more

After seeing the reviews and craving something different in a burger, we ambled over to Richardson. Geez, I don't get over there enough! So many options and places I've been dying to try! I digress... It's an unassuming little place in a strip mall in the land that time forgot, which gives it some charm. The service is just fine, menu options are plentiful and you can watch the folks prepare your order. Pretty cool; fire grilled meat! How can that be wrong? Both of us ordered the #2, cheeseburger. Now, you don't get asked how you want it cooked, so there's that. I thought the patty was a little overdone, but it had a nice fire-kissed char on it. Toppings were standard; I like the purple onion. Fries and tots were crispy and just right. The jalapeno ketchup is a little more "vivid" than I expected and I had to dilute it with regular to make it tolerable. They do not ask you how you want the burger cooked. Mine was obviously cooked earlier in the day and reheated because I had my food within 3 minutes of ordering. It was well done and dry. The wife arrived later. Her burger took much longer and seemed to be cooked fresh. Every other party in the place had two grown men who would stand in front of the register and argue in Hindi over who would pay. My Hindi's a little rusty, so I'm unsure whether both wanted to pay, neither wanted to pay, or this was one of those 'honor' deals where an entire family would have to die if one side feels disrespected, so I got out of there pretty quick. Both patties were a little over seasoned. Bread held togather. Neither burger had grease drippage during the vertical hold (over-cooked). Veggie toppings are fresh. Clean rest rooms. I've been coming here for about a little over a year now and have been stewing about writing a review for a while: Short answer: Definitely worth a try.  Suggestions: Go for gold and get the Ultimate cheeseburger/chicken sandwhich, gyro, or, for the more eclectic few, ask for a grilled cheese and add bacon and jalapeños; an extra spicy, grilled chicken Caesar salad with spinach instead of lettuce and add jalapeños and olives; or an extra spicy Philly cheesesteak with the bun on the side, using it more as naan (a dipping bread, essentially) instead of on the sandwich itself. And for those of you on the "paleo" diet, ask for no bun. Popular choices from my peers include the Mushroom Swiss and Avocado burgers/sandwiches. Ask them to cut it in half if you are of a petit appetite and save some for later or share with a friend - portion control, mes amis...and try the jalapeño ketchup with their seasoned fries. Bon Appetit.  --- When they say everything on the menu is good - this is true...to a point. I've tried mostly everything...including the kids' meals.  Yes, the portion sizes are larger than average. (I haven't been to Keller's, Elevation, or Liberty burger so I can't comment on those) Note: I believe Olive Burger serves their hamburgers in a charbroiled fashion...similar to the taste of Burger King, if you're reaching for it...some will like this...some won't...as one reviewer mentioned, there is a Mediterranean flair to their burgers, so there is a slight change of scenery in terms of proclivities to one's palate . Yes, every person (except for my brother, who has higher standards than myself) that I have shared this place with pretty much loves their food. My brother thinks it's decent - which is good, "trust me." Yes, it's great that they support excellent local companies, like Jalapeño Ketchup, and stock an assortment of hot sauces, the most exclusive of which being El Yucateco XXXtra Hot Kutbil-ik Mayan Style Habanero Hot Sauce, which I've only seen at Good2Go Taco's aside from here - tip: try a combo of the chipotle salsa + Mexican meat marinade (in a yellow bottle) + XXX + el Yucateco's green and red sauce varieties for a solid, delicious masochistic punch in the gut - it's a good burn. Yes, they serve Halal food (specifically "and bacon")...which is great if you're into that sort of thing. ;) Yet. Their veggie burgers are meh. (Granted, they're not tailoring for that niche). They have occasional logistical errors (they did recently update their ordering system and have been getting much better at identifying who ordered what and making sure that the order is correct), and consistency is a minor issue (too salty at times, buns are slightly dry (but toasted), longer wait times during a rush, sometimes juicy/not so juicy, etc.), though easily forgive-able given the quality of food. ... That's pretty much it. *Decent pricing/value for fresh, hot food.  *The food is actually fresh, which is always a plus. *from what I can see, clean kitchen and sitting areas. So the wife and I were so sad that the Snuffers by our house in Plano closed down because that was our "go to" burger place. We've tried a few other local burger places but it's so tough to find a place that will cook a burger to order. That's right, we like it a little pink in the middle not cooked to death brown. Had lunch there today. Ordered the olive burger with bacon. 1. It's seems to be a frozen patty that I do not believe it's 8oz like they have in writing on the menu and it is dry. They to put some kind of seasoning on it that really doesn't work if you can't taste the meat. 2. they use some precooked bacon that they cook again. Tastes nothing like bacon and it's like chewing gristle. 3. The bread doesn't hold up to the burger. Just falls apart leaving you with a mess. 4. The fries are frozen and they are ok at best. I was in the area, hungry for a good burger, saw all the positive reviews and thought I would give this place a try. Turned out to be a big disappointment. I ordered the basic cheeseburger, fries, and drink, for $9 and some change; which for a good burger and fries I'm willing to splurge. The first thing I notices when I got my food was a how small of an order the fries were, and for $2 I expect a lot more. They were not bad, but for that price I expect the hand cut fresh fries. Then I tried the burger and was severely disappointed. The bun was dry and easily fell apart. The burger patty was tough and dry, no juices or flavor. I instantly thought I could get a better burger at a fast food chain (for much less) than what this place offers. I am a food connoisseur. I like to go to places based on volume of ratings and good reviews. This is one of the few times I think that I've been let down by that method. The reason: frozen patties. My coworker said "Wendy's has fresher tasting patties than this." She later told me that she hurt one of her teeth biting into the burger. She thought it was a bone fragment or a piece of charcoal. What happens when you use a frozen patty? you get a dry burger. What saves it is it has a charbroiled flavor. But this thing is so dry it is hazardous without a drink on hand. The good here: Much selection of sides (zucchini, stuffed mushrooms, etc. Fresh, quality toppings... this is what saves the burger and probably makes the establishment. The bad: frozen food products. Conclusion: if these burgers were made with fresh beef, they would be fantastic. Omg! I'm so glad we tried this place! Everything we ordered was delicious and plentiful. Definitely the biggest grilled chicken sandwich I've ever had!! The fries and mozzarella sticks are to die for! The vanilla shake was perfect. The staff was friendly; even when they were swamped with customers. We arrived at 1:30 and there were a handful of customers inside. As we were eating, a lined quickly formed and stayed steady until we left about 2. I just moved to Dallas and I've been on the hunt for the best Halal burger and I think I've found it! Omg, Olive Burger is drool worthy. The sign outside made me think it was just going to be another hole in the wall burger joint but when I walked inside it had a cool vibe almost bordering Umami in LA. Anyways, I had the Jalapeno cheese burger and it was everything I wanted and more. The thing that sets this place apart from others is their MEAT. Not only is the quality superb but the way they perfectly char grill the patties is what adds another dimension to the burgers. In addition, the buns are perfectly toasted and the entire burger just fuses into something heavenly. Also tried the chili cheese fries which were pretty amazing but a little too heavy duty for me.
