History
Established in 2023.
Over 25 years ago, three friends met while working in a London restaurant. Haci, Ahmed, and Zafer, forming the name "Haz," meaning "pleasure" in Turkish, were very keen in the culinary world initially.
Today, Haz boasts six successful restaurants with a loyal clientele throughout the City. Now, they've embarked on a new adventure with Olea Social Restaurant in Covent Garden. This family-style, sharing Mediterranean restaurant aims to bring diverse Mediterranean choices in a warm, social atmosphere rooted in their family histories. I am Berat Gultekin hospitality Director with a rich journey that began in 1998. Over the years, I've immersed myself in diverse roles within the industry, leaving an indelible mark in hotels, restaurants, beach clubs, and bars. What drives me is a deep passion for people, food, culture, and travel.
My career is not just a job; it's a lifestyle centered around creating meaningful connections. From engaging with guests to collaborating with colleagues, I thrive on the human interactions that make the hospitality world vibrant.
