Thanks to the folks at WMSFS, I got all the right terms tackle I needed, with a diagram of how to setup the bobber rig. Took their advice to go with raw shrimp for bait. It was pretty busy. The stores are predictable - a snorkeling place, some beachwear, fashion, etc. Parking is plentiful and free. It is air conditioned so you can get out of the heat for awhile. They also have a restaurant on the outside of the mall that seems popular. So it's not a big mall, but if you're looking for a swimsuit, or a cute outfit or a souvenir, you can get that here. You can also get a tasty bite to eat or some groceries.

The shops at Wailea have a robust program of Hawaiian dance, crafts and music and I guess I will go there future. They only have a hula show on Sundays 1-2 pm, some music on Friday and Saturday 5-6 pm and and a hula class I believe on Thursday/ Friday. The shops at wailea has something everyday. I did want to mention that the hula show put on by the Oni foundation was one of the best I had seen and it was for a whole hour. I would definitely recommend it!!

Amazing Shore Dive Experience -- Ask for Joey!…read more We had an amazing shore dive with Joey at Dive Maui! We originally booked the Shark and Turtle Dive, but unfortunately, recent rain had washed out the visibility, so we had to change plans and head to Airport Beach instead. While we were initially disappointed, it turned out to be a fantastic alternative! We still got to see tons of beautiful tropical fish, eels, starfish, and other marine life. What really made the experience exceptional was Joey! He was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, patient, and genuinely passionate about what he does. Safety was clearly his top priority, and he took the time to thoroughly explain everything before getting in the water. Throughout the dive, he was attentive and reassuring, especially when we experienced some challenges with our masks and ear pressure. He never made us feel rushed or uncomfortable and made sure we felt safe and confident the entire time. Even though the original dive didn't work out as planned, Joey went above and beyond to make sure we had a memorable experience. It's guides like him who truly make the difference! We highly recommend Dive Maui, and if you're booking a dive, do yourself a favor and ask for Joey! You won't be disappointed. We had to continuously reach out to him to ensure the rental process was complete, we didn't receive the instructions to meet up with him after he refused to deliver the clubs 5 minutes down the street even though his website claims he'll deliver, and after all of the above he was sarcastic, condescending, and had the audacity to ask for a tip at the pickup. Needless to say, will not be renting again on future stays.

It is up on the second floor of a back lot business park area. There is a sign on the balcony landing. Dylan's store is a cool place that is a father/son operation based on a passion for the hobby. They are both really kind, love to talk about sports cards, and will give you a fair price on cards you are interested in. They have a wide selection of mega boxes and cards available.
