Called to see how his work load was and told although he was busy he could sneak me in. Meet by the friendliest of guys in Haiku. I always play dumb about dong repair and ask how they would go about fixing it. Brother new his stuff, gave me a fair quote, said go ahead. Board was done 48 hours later and the repair is solid. Burt is certain Ding King is THE BEST repair shop on Maui!!!…read more Burt actually had a hole punched thru his old ladies new Carbon Fiber Naish Hokua LE. Burt asked around and everybody says," Ding King, take it there." Burt could not be happier!!! Looks like new. Repaired IN 2 DAYS!!! Ding King also buffed and taped the rails. Burt repeats - Looks like new!!! The guys were super cool. Scott also gave us an awesome tour of he shop. Burt is most likely gonna have a custom made SUP for surfing made here since commercial companies don't make surf able SUP's big enough for a REAL MAN the size of Burt. These guys do high quality ding repair work, as in they repair it to the point that you have to hunt for the area that they did the repair on. The guys that work here are super nice and their prices are really fair. On top of all of that they have even thrown in some freebie repairs that I didn't even notice needed fixing at the time.
