We came for lunch mid-week abd it wasn't overly crowded. Their is live music so it's pretty loud - not an ideal spot for conversation over your meal. Our server was amazing! Sweet, friendly and efficient! She moved our review from 3 to 4 stars! My salad was just average. Not overly large. Fried chicken was more "tempura like" than crispy fried chicken I prefer. The onions and cucumbers tasted pickled (??) I prefer fresh. Ranch dressing was watery, but honey mustard was not. The place is large (4 stories w/ roof) and super easy to find. I was craving a salad and I got it. The salad itself was 2 stars most places do better - but our server, the ambience and a well managed restaurant pulled them all the way from 2 (food) to 4 overall. Ole Reds was amazing we had to go twice the first time we went to ole reds we got the brunch which we couldn't stop raving about I got the chicken biscuit sandwiches w fresh berry's, the biscuits were delicious the chicken I got was not with the hot honey so it was plain but had enough flavor. The rest of the food I had small bites from and and the lunch was good but didn't make to much of a impression but the chicken sliders I would say get those. The service was great the staff is super friendly and very helpful. The ambiance for brunch is great sitting on the roof is great as long as you're in the shade the Vegas sun can be brutal lol. While I'm a big fan of Blake, but I truly believe Gwen would be embarrassed if she visited. Just like his concert, the good music is way too loud - at 98 average decibels on the (quieter) second floor the wait staff should be wearing hearing protection per OSHA. I plugged my ears with a napkin. Had the hamburger which was mediocre at best, as were the fries. Spouse had the Chicken mini sandwiches were ok until it gave her the runs the next day. All that and a glass of sangria, for $100? Ole Red must be eating filet mignon every night in his dog bowl. Could have got a better meal at Applebees for half the price. Ole Red is a multistory bar with live country music and a rooftop bar off the strip in Las Vegas, between the Flamingo and Paris. Upon entering, our group headed straight for the elevators to go to the rooftop. It was Tuesday night transitioning to Wednesday morning and it was surprisingly busy. Good vibes all around without being too overly busy. We ordered a round of Makers shots, and then each got different beers and drinks to hang out. I had a Twisted Tea. We headed to seat ourselves at one of the tables along the edge and we were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful view of the strip, right across from the Bellagio fountain. This is a great spot to go to if you're looking for a spot with good views. Chill spot to hang out in between our wandering and gambling. Good times!! read more

Sticker shock. I think I would have preferred to pay a cover charge since there was live entertainment than be gorged at the bar. Arriving about 10PM on a Friday evening the place was not packed. There were no prices posted that I saw. We snagged a bar table near the first floor dance floor with the live band that was really great. ~$50 for 2-12oz domestic beers in a disposable plastic cup, I closed the tab. Tried this place 3 times. 3 strikes and they're out. I'll start with the one good thing, the live music. The music here is excellent if you like country. The atmosphere is ok, nothing great, but fun enough. Now the bad. The service has been some of the worst I have ever received. From being completely ignored to straight lied to by the staff, I cannot justify ever going back. The food is on par with Applebees at best and the mixed drinks were basically straight sugar. While in Vegas, we took the opportunity to drink and dine at Blake Shelton's Ole Red on the Strip. We're no strangers to Ole Red's charm since we've been frequent customer's at the Nashville location, and let us tell you, they nailed the vibe here too. The minute we walked in, we felt like we were back in Nashville, right down to the tractor hanging from the ceiling. Live music is always a win in our books, and the band tonight didn't disappoint. We grabbed seats upstairs at a high-top table, and Morgan our server was awesome. She gave great tips on both food and drinks, and when a front row table opened up, she moved us there without us even asking. Brownie points for this level of service! The drink menu offered signature cocktails along with standard well drinks and a good selection of bottle and draft beers. Pricing is what you'd expect for Vegas ($$$), but the cold beer and solid entertainment made it worth it. A cool bonus, the upstairs seating has a large screen showing the band on stage, so even if you're not right up front, you still feel part of the action. The star of the night though was the new menu item they called the Hillbilly charcuterie platter. Picture a large board loaded with BBQ meats and all the fixings. The mac n' cheese was creamy and gooey, the sausage and brisket were flavorful, but what stole the show for us was the honey and butter cornbread. Total winner. We went on a Tuesday, so it wasn't overly crowded and we were seated right away. Between live music, friendly service, and good food, this place checks all the boxes. Next time, we'll make it up to the rooftop open-air bar, which looked like fun. Pro tip: Don't leave without trying that BBQ platter and catching live tunes. Went in here for dinner and I'm glad I finally did. We were sat immediately and even had a table next to the stage. The band was amazing! Our server wasn't that great I'm sorry to say. He took our order after what seamed like a really long time. Then our drinks we ordered took a long time as well. Food came out rather quickly though. After that we didn't see him until it was time for the check. My girl got a Caesar salad. It was huge! It was also really good. I got the Blackberry Crispy Chicken Sliders! They were insanely good! Read if you have the time because this may be a long one. Background we went for my sisters birthday on a Saturday night. This place does not do reservations and we had a large party of 18 people. You need at least 20 people for a private event or pay a minimum of $1,500 for "VIP". There's no way to contact them unless its via email (which they dont respond to) so my sister had to go in person and thats where we learned about "VIP" Now VIP is complete bs. The only benefit was not having to wait in line but other than that, not worth it. This establishment has 4 stories but you can not go to the 3rd floor unless youre vip and we still weren't allowed because we didnt have a wrist band? We also barely had any space and towards the end of the night they remove tables to open a dance floor which would be cool people kept standing right by our table that when we would get up we couldnt sit back down without having to ask people to move and there wasnt many places they could move to. Anywho lets get to the nitty gritty. The food was mid. it was nothing special and inconsistent. We ordered nachos but I saw another table get them too and theirs looked so much better and you know you always eat with your eyes first. The drinks are good and you get to keep the glasses but super expensive! Even for strip pricing it was pretty high. It was like $27 for a 20oz drink with the souvenir glass , then $21 for refills $16 shots. The place setup is very nice and cool to look around especially if youre a blake shelton fan. This will sound weird but the womens bathroom is so cute! But, we got sat by the stage and couldnt hear ourselves think. It is so unnecessary loud in there and the live band playing when we went, werent that great in my personal opinion, they were also kinda rude. They talked to this other group who was also celebrating a birthday. They had a 50th birthday and when they asked who else had a birthday we obviously cheered and they looked at my sister, didnt ask how old she was turning, and said that its not as a special as a 50th birthday. Yes you read that right. They also decided to play the national anthem and said "if you dont stand up the door is right there" joking or not; in this political climate that is NOT acceptable and made it very uncomfortable. Lastly, the service. now let me say the service is the ONLY reason they got a 2 and not a 1. Our server did amazing and was very attentive and interactive. Alex was the only reason we had a great time and did amazing work even though they were SLAMMED on a saturday night in vegas. Any "mishaps" that happened were not his fault and he handled everything being courteous and efficient. She was quick and attentive. The food was just ok. I've had way better and for the price would have expected better. The prices were pretty steep even for the strip. I was disappointed that the drink I ordered came with a glass to take home and there was no cheaper option without the glass, which I wasn't interested in. There's a constant flow of live music. I have been front row to RAMMSTEIN and they were not loud. I have zero clue who was playing. We saw Blake in April at ceasers forum. Great show. Not that loud. Near 2 hours of just noise, not music, noise. We were there so long because our waiting was ignoring us. Took 15min before they allowed us to order drinks. Then brought us drinks 1 at a time for the most part. Food was the same way. The table next to us cycled through 3 groups of people on top of the one sitting there when we were sat. Turns out he doesn't give AF because we were surprised with a $15 "entertainment" tax and then runs our card and "forgot to ad the 20% gratuity" that he was sure to add after he got our cards. So there was little need to make sure we were taken care of. I would be pissed if this is how you are representing my brand. I don't think this is what Blake Shelton was looking for when he opened this place. read more

But unfortunately, the rest of our experience wasn't that great from that moment on. The food was ok and looked better than it tasted. The service wasn't what we expected for a joint on the strip. I won't bore anyone with the details, but will only say that we're very easy going peeps and not high maintenance. Can't say that OR is worth the squeeze even though we wanted it to be. So that definitely made the atmosphere of the restaurant fun & entertaining. We were seated on the first level. It was super crowded, even at our table. The tables and chairs are places pretty close to each other so don't expect too much comfort. The food was ok. Nothing special. It's bar food. More on the pricey side tho, especially when compared to other sports & country bars on the strip. The pick me up shot was definitely different tho, it's like an espresso Martini in a shit glass. I do like how you get souvenir cups/shot glasses with each drink so that was cool Service was also ok. Our server seemed overwhelmed or stressed. She was nice tho. I walked in with an coffee cup and got declined at the door at 2pm because of my coffee. As I looked around, it was dead. Not crowded at all with some guy playing his acoustic guitar. I was having coffee. Clearly the host knew it was coffee ... We talking about coffee ... Not a game, we talking about practice ... Not a great first impression. As I leave my coffee outside, we get different explanations about the availability of the roof. Being annoyed I just used the stairs to walk to the roof and wow look! The bar is open and there are available seats because ... It was dead. Second, we checked out the cocktail menu and ... There is some false advertisement. The menu illustrates that you need to pay $27 for any cocktail and you'll receive a refillable cup. The refill is $21. I got annoyed as I see others getting simple cocktails without the refillable cup. I asked the bartender for a screwdriver without mentioning any actual drinks from the menu and got it at regular price, $18. Here is some advice. If your business isn't doing well or it's the slow hour, let people in. What's the big deal of me bringing my coffee? Just literally trying to steal every cent of each customer. Also, no one wants your refillable cups. Another way to grab everyone's money and that's why your place was slow. read more

Unfortunately we walked in and ordered two beers on draft and taken aback with the $35 price tag. Yeah, two domestic drafts, and an arm and a leg. I understand the live band is free, no cover, but charge less and your customers will buy more beers and hang around longer. That is all! read more
