Bloody Mary from heaven

Richard was such an amazing bartender. His drinks were so tasty and his personality is A+. Give him lots of tips if you pop in!

McCarran had eliminated smoking some time ago and now they brought it back in full force. this bar is connected to the gaming area, which is also smoker friendly. several high tops and a booths lining the walls. bartenders were pretty friendly. drink prices were standard. i gave them 1 extra star because they have plugs under the booth seats. but, you have to inhale half a pack and smell like your uncle's coat to charge it even 10percent. i'm knocking this place because people should really quit smoking. but, i'm not going to knock the star off because it serves its' purpose for those people that need it. including mama. i'm an ex-smoker so i know what i'm talking about. but, i digress and step off the soap box.

Finally there is a "smoke friendly lounge" in McCarran International Airport! Before you get your politically correct underwear in a bundle, keep in mind, this is Vegas baby! Yeah! :) Pony up to the bar and order a libation or two prior to boarding your flight and complying with lighted placards. Strike up a conversation with a showgirl or an Elvis impersonator while enjoying your favorite smoke. You can also try your luck with the one-armed bandits in the adjacent gaming lounge. If your in a rush and don't have time to socialize, they also sell sandwiches and chips for hungry travelers on the go!

Rude, rude, rude!! This is a small smoking lounge located in the Las Vegas airport. The bartender was a complete ass. The soda we ordered had no flavor. All carbonation. When returned the bartender just threw it out and did not offer a substitute or a refund. The rudeness continued for the bartender could not hear my wife (older guy) and just said, " I can't hear you so I can't help you" Does Americans with disabilities ring a bell? I can see a law suit brewing! Terrible customer service and terrible sodas stay away folks!!

Inside of the lounge.

Yay, smoking lounge! But be warned, it's damn expensive (then again, you're in LAS so they price everything like you won big at one of the numerous slot machines scattered throughout the airport). One beer-- A STELLA AT THAT--set me back about $11 (specifically, it was $11.45 but then there's tipping and I tipped nicely despite the price). There's a special that allows you to get a $4 shot with your beer... I guess if you're willing to drop $15+, cool? The atomosphere ranges from business men lookin' for booze to tatted youths looking to smoke and booze up as well. Annnnd it is quite clean! Plus, the bartender that was working was pretty sassy, so I did enjoy that. All in all, it's a convenient smoking lounge with pretty steep prices, but again, it is LAS so it's not surprising.

Every corner has a different oddity and to add to the intrigue and search for answers, they encourage opening some of the drawers for closer looks! They have a bar area where you can sit and enjoy your drink or food but also have cozy areas throughout where you can sit and take it all in. Definitely a fun bar to check out when in Vegas and hopefully you get Chris who was delightful and made fantastic drinks!

All I remember was going through the casino areas of Paris Hotel, and then going down one floor to the Horseshoe area to reach this bar just minutes before closing on a Friday close to midnight. I quickly grabbed a seat at the bar area and perused the menu, which has a ton of drinks, beers, wines, mocktails and even snacks. Even when close to closing time, patrons filled up all the bar seating which isn't a lot; most seating was couches and tables near the knickknacks. I got myself the Bee's Knees, which is cranberry and pineapple juice, apple puree, cinnamon fire syrup and some ginger beer according to their menu just outside the front entrance. I can only describe the taste as a sweetened fruit juice with a ton of fizz from the ginger beer, and the pineapple and apple came out on top for overpowering the drink overall. Some mint leaves and a slice of grapefruit were added in, and the mint leaves made this drink feel more like a special cocktail. This and other mocktails is $13 before tax, so pretty high price especially when considering their other alcoholic drinks are not that much higher than that... I actually still loved my drink, though! It was a nice wrap-up for my last day in Vegas and I'm curious now to look a lot more carefully at the stuff on the walls if I ever come here again!

Note that it is significantly less expensive to go on a Sunday or M-W than a Thurs/Fri/Sat would be... When I was there, they were very strict about their no photos policy. A few people in the club took their phones out on occasion, but it was nice to be mostly distraction free. The people I saw attempt to take photos were reminded of the policy and forced to delete the photos. I watched it happen twice... The security was locked in this night- Huge security staff and everyone could see them enforcing policies. The bottle service was great. Expensive, of course, but you know you're paying for that. Our server was so kind and accommodating. The busser was incredibly attentive. We got a bottle of rosé and a few cocktails. The cocktails were delicious and quite unique. Lon the Don was my favorite. The live music was incredible! A lot of talent and a wide variety of songs. The energy was electric. The DJ between live sets was great too, he really kept the hype going. This club is worth the hype and the splurge.

The venue itself is beautifully designed, with a more intimate, sophisticated feel compared to larger Las Vegas clubs. It's a great option if you're looking for something stylish with a strong music and ambiance focus. The overall vibe is smooth and elevated -- great music, well-dressed crowd, and an atmosphere that feels exclusive without being overwhelming. One thing worth noting is the camera policy. The venue emphasizes a no-camera experience, which I understand is meant to maintain privacy and keep the focus on the moment. However, I did notice a few cameras out and about during the night, which made the policy feel a bit inconsistent. Not a major issue, but something that stood out. Overall, it's a great spot for a more refined night out in Las Vegas. I had an enjoyable experience and would definitely return.
