Ms. Rita!

When we travel, I love to stop at local restaurants that showcase their personal touch and food options. This little gem does just that! Family owned, with house made menu options. Have you ever had a cinnamon roll as a sandwich bun? Me either, but woah-sooo good!

Holy Cow! THIS is where the mother-in-law wanted to go for Mother's Day. I'm thinking she's getting a tad more wacky as the years go by but if she wants to go Larwill [not sure there's any other reason to go to Larwill] then by God, we'll take her to Larwill to the Hitchin' Post. Gravel lot, picnic tables, some good loud music, fire pits and solid service staff. Menu arrives; burgers, chili dogs, tenderloin, fish, steaks, ice cream. It's got all my food groups covered! Steaks at nearby table look delish. I choose chili dogs, the outlaw the burger, & the better half the breaded tenderloin. Food is made to order. Piping hot on delivery. Sides are made in house mostly it seems. I'm happy with the slaw too. Downside here would be weather challenges - there is some indoor seating but we didn't lay eyes on it. You can have carhop service to your vehicle as well. This should be a destination drive if you're looking for a different venue from ordinary and value some good chow in a casual setting!

Looking for a burger we found this hidden gem. Great food, great service and I absolutely loved the theme. Fire pit, picnic tables, music, even the bathroom had the feel of an outhouse but with working facility's! Made a new memory today.

Stopped here while driving through the area. Cute little local dive with a western theme and FANTASTIC food. Food is simple but fresh, delicious, and clearly made with love. We both had the burgers and they were fantastic. If you're looking for a good place to grab a bite mid road trip, this is your place. 110% worth the stop.

Yummy food......fast service and nice people. My friend got a pork tenderloin and RAVED about it......burger and fries were top notch. Stop in, you won't regret it.

Let me begin by saying, I was really hopeful my for the best. Based on the reviews I was sure we…read morewould be using this cute little place as a "meet in the middle" for our family. However. Our evening turned out like this. It was 5:30pm we entered the restaurant and stood patiently in the family dining area . No one came. We sent a scout to the bar upstairs. He came down and told us that we could bring the 8 year old up if we sat in the hallway but it seated 4. Our scout carried a chair upstairs for our 5th party. We waited another 8 min. No one came . After 10 min. We prepared to leave . A server said, " are you leaving?". Yes! And we left. This was a Friday night experience. The server was there by herself. She was intending to cook-serve and bar tend. I wish this place the best. It's adorable. Since I can't judge the food or really the service, my suggestion is to call ahead and see if they are staffed and ready.

Called ahead to make a reservation- not needed but Donna was super nice and we had a good laugh…read morewhen we walked into this awesome spot. It looks like a great place for a wedding reception. Quaint quiet town! The reception area is large and the depot is fantastic Just found out that a band plays here every Thursday. I bet this place will be hopping. Seriously, I wish we were sticking around longer- ordered the bean soup - husband says it's hot and good. Salmon sandwiches and steak burger. Side options are chips or applesauce. The food smells great while we wait. Pop is flat. Beer is cold. Water is wet. Gnat season is in full swing. Food is good. Nothing to ring a bell over but a solid dinner while traveling on 30. Just a mile off the highway!! Would I come back - sure, nothing but miles behind me and more in front of me to make this place a super spot for us to have made a reservation!!!
