We had a vision, and Mike brought it to life!…read more We've tackled our fair share of remodel projects over the years, but nothing quite prepared us for the leap into a complete, ground-up ADU build. We knew this wasn't a project to hand off to just anyone, we needed a true expert, someone who could steer us through every twist and turn with confidence. That's exactly what we found in Mike. From our very first meeting, Mike had a calm, reassuring presence that told us we were in good hands. He listened closely to our vision, asked the right questions, and laid out a clear path forward that immediately put our minds at ease. And trust us, our minds needed easing, we came to him with a steady stream of nervous, sometimes repetitive questions, and he never once made us feel like a burden. He answered every single one with patience, warmth, and genuine reassurance. Communication was a true highlight of working with Mike. He kept us updated at every stage, so we always knew exactly where things stood. What could have been an incredibly stressful, all-consuming process instead felt manageable, even exciting. He also took the reins on coordinating with city inspectors throughout the entire build, handling all the back-and-forth so we didn't have to lift a finger. That alone lifted a massive weight off our shoulders. And the icing on the cake? He finished the entire project ahead of the estimated timeline, without ever cutting corners on quality or care. If you're on the fence about a big build like this, let us save you the trouble: call Mike. He turned what could have been an overwhelming experience into one we're genuinely grateful for, and the final result speaks for itself. We couldn't recommend him more highly.

It was open, modern and made for entertaining. We just didn't know whether anyone could deliver it. Mike did. He redesigned the whole layout around how we live. Today it's a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home with an open floor plan, a real laundry room and the ensuite master we always wanted. Every time I walk through it, I'm amazed at how different it feels. One thing that set Mike apart was the 3D renderings. That was a step above what we expected. We could see the layout before anything was built, and Mike could make any adjustment we asked for with seeming ease. We reviewed the changes quickly and landed on the perfect layout. We never had to guess what the finished home would look like. We were nervous about hiring a contractor. We'd heard the horror stories about unreliability, poor work and overpaying. Mike put those fears to rest early. He listened closely, answered every question patiently, and never made us feel like we were asking too much. We felt like partners with him, not just customers. He cared about the outcome as much as we did, and he kept working until we were happy. If you have a vision for your home and need someone who can design it and build it, call Mike. He was a blessing to work with, and we now have our dream house. We were so impressed with the process that we immediately started a 1000sqft ADU with MDM that was just completed. We recommend him without hesitation.

This was my…read morefirst remodeling project in many years, and I knew I would need to find someone new, since my former contractor had retired. From my very first meeting with Elena, I felt comfortable and confident. They were able to accommodate my requested start date and handled all the preconstruction details including permits and inspections. Elena guided me throughout the design process and worked closely with me to make sure I was happy with my choices. Their workmanship and attention to detail were top notch and they were very respectful of my property, as well as my privacy. Their crew was extremely talented, and Dmitry was very hands on and knowledgeable. As with any remodel, there were a few small surprises, but Pulsar came up with solutions and made any alterations necessary. I truly appreciated their clear and frequent communication, weekly updates, and budget progress reports. I will definitely work with them again on future projects.

I say "with" because they both were absolutely with us every step of the way. The schedule and commitment they made with us was as equally important to them as it was to us. We had some hiccups. No project that I've ever been involved with goes without a hitch. And our house was built in 1963, and the kitchen was last updated in 1992. So there were a lot of challenges to be met and issues to be dealt with as the kitchen went down to the studs. But Elena is a master project and business manager. And Dmitry is actual an artisan, with a team of very skilled people at the ready to do the work and handle the problems. Even when we had issues with the vendors for the appliances, Elena stepped in and worked the white spaces, smoothing over the issues and getting everyone back on track. Dmity himself literally built custom solutions real time at the work site. We had several challenges because of the way the house was initially built, and he overcame them one by one with creative solutions that were not simply kluges but are now permanent fixes that passed ALL Final Inspections. Which brings me to another point: Dmitry did all the plans for submittal to the city, and Elena submitted all the plans and permit requests, interfaced with the city for all inspections, and gave us copies of all the final inspections and permit information for our files. We paid for those services, and I will tell you it was well worth it. It bears noting that we lived in the house the entire time the work was being done, except for the 12 days when we were on vacation out of the country. Pulsar kept working the whole time we were gone, safeguarding our home, and keeping us in the loop even though we were eight hours ahead. Pulsar was not our least expensive bid. But we made the decision early on that we would not cut corners on this job. We are very grateful to have found Dmity and Elena. They were easy to work with, had respect for our property and our schedule and our budget as much as possible, and never made us feel sorry about choosing to with them. I recommend you choose them, too!#

We began our Culver City project with a plan to renovate our existing three-bedroom, one-bath home and convert our garage into an ADU. What started as a 325-square-foot garage ultimately became a beautifully designed 705-square-foot one-bedroom ADU. Throughout the process, EG's consistently exceeded our expectations. The quality of the craftsmanship was outstanding, but equally impressive was the team's communication and guidance. Their insights helped us make smart decisions that balanced our budget with our desire for thoughtful design and high-quality materials. As the project neared completion, our confidence in the partnership led us to take on an additional phase--adding flexible living space to the existing home. Technically a JADU, this unique addition transformed our front home into a four-bedroom, two-bath residence, while also creating the option to close off the rear portion and generate rental income in the future. None of this would have come together without the collaborative approach of Eric, the owner, and the entire EG's team. Their professionalism, creativity, and commitment to doing things the right way made a complex project enjoyable and successful. A special thank you to Eric, Andy, Oscar, Lalo, Abner, Uriel, and Hugo, along with all of the expert partner contractors who contributed to bringing our vision to life. We are thrilled with the results and highly recommend EG's Built Construction to anyone looking for a team that combines quality craftsmanship with integrity, communication, and true partnership.

Project manager Josef was excellent in bringing in his partners (designers, foreman, etc.) to ensure from the design to finish we were collaborating and satisfied with the end result. For the garage, we had it drywalled (no insulation), installation of a attic ladder (bought from Home Depot) to make use of a pre-built storage area, updated garage door and exterior lighting. Front yard included adding extra pavement to be able to park two cars on the driveway (we have the pre WW II one car driveway) but looks like a part of the front yard design, installation of artificial grass (YAY), redo of the front porch to include redoing the porch ceiling with a bare wood look, and installation of a pathway to the front steps. We had 3 home improvement projects in the last couple of years (including this project) and WTG Builders was the best in terms of responsiveness, communication, and setting expectations. Perhaps I'm more wiser too about projects but I appreciated Project Manager Josef's communication and updates and the various trade teams were fantastic. I also took into consideration their work in the local Long Beach/Lakewood area which I think is important. I would use them again and recommend them for similar projects!

He met with me on a Sunday at 11:00 a.m. and took the time to thoroughly review the plans for my two bathroom and kitchen remodel. After walking through the project details, Khaled sat down with me and clearly explained the remodeling process with complete transparency. Although my budget was below his estimated project cost, he still generously shared valuable advice about what to look for when evaluating contractors and navigating the renovation process. A few weeks later, Khaled followed up to check on my progress. His timing could not have been better, as the contractor I had ultimately hired was not working out. He took the time to discuss several options with me, which gave me confidence that I had a path forward. Khaled even offered to connect me with a trusted subcontractor if needed and welcomed me to reach out with any questions or concerns along the way. While I was ultimately unable to move forward with AP Remodeling due to budget constraints, I was genuinely impressed by Khaled's integrity, responsiveness, and willingness to help without any obligation. If you are looking for quality workmanship backed by exceptional customer service and can accommodate the investment, I highly recommend working with Khaled and the team at AP Remodeling.

He was on time, friendly, professional, and immediately went into the crawl space to perform a thorough inspection. I was impressed that I received a detailed proposal the very same day. The biggest reason I chose Sunshine Builders was the quality of Jon's inspection. He was the only contractor who identified sagging floor joists in my living room, which likely explained the squeaking floors I had been hearing. He documented the issue with photos and recommended the appropriate repairs, giving me confidence that he was looking out for the long-term integrity of my home--not just trying to sell a standard retrofit. Throughout the entire process, Jon kept me informed every step of the way, from permitting and plan check to scheduling the installation. Communication was excellent, and I always knew what to expect. On inspection day, everything went smoothly. The contractor arrived prepared with all the required paperwork, met with the City inspector, and ensured the inspection was completed without any issues. Jon made an outstanding first impression and represented Sunshine Foundation Repairs exceptionally well. His thorough inspection, attention to detail, clear communication, and guidance throughout the entire process are the reasons why I chose Sunshine Foundation Repairs I would highly recommend them.
