Very cute & charming! The staff is extremely friendly. Great price and dog friendly. Within walking distance of the downtown area. They also had free surface parking, which worked out great for our van. They also let us fill up our van with water. Much appreciated! Definitely recommend!

This is a country old ski town mom and pop Inn. Upon arrival I received a warm cookie and a coffee/ tea. The room was simple and clean. I was reluctant but I took a chance for one night of sleep after a long day of skiing. There are 3 free city buses that run every 15 min. The bus stop is located be right be hide the Inn. It was a dog a dog friendly Inn at the low price of +/-$15 per dog. Thanks for the special dog treat. After skiing I was happy to see I was able to wash all clothing and gear.

Location, location. Old Town Inn is the first lodging as you arrive in town and within easy walking distance to downtown. The arts center is located directly across the street and the small patio offers a gorgeous view of Mount Crested Butte. I requested a first floor room with 2 queen beds and easy access to our car because my wife seriously sprained her knee 2 weeks prior. My request was cheerfully accommodated and we thoroughly enjoyed our entire 3 night stay. Some of the many positives of staying here in addition to location include a) reasonable pricing, b) onsite washer/dryer, c) friendly staff, d) clean rooms, e) afternoon cookies, f) continental breakfast, g) courtesy bikes, and h) air conditioning.

    Out our window.

Friendly staff, downtown CrestedButte, drive or take bus to the mountain. The Flatirons sports keeps your skis close to the slopes for free---big plus! Close to shopping and restaurants. We had a king size bed, nice TV, a 2-top table and chairs in the room, temp was comfortable. Price was great and includes free breakfast. There may be some deer visitors, saw their tracks in the parking lot! The room was dark, it was quiet. They have a hot tub. The coffee is great and breakfast is good.

We're always in Crested Butte, Colorado to mountainbike. I got a deal in groupon so we stayed here in Old Town Inn. They're very pet friendly and their breakfast is yummy. I just got this feeling that they're not as friendly as the Nordic Inn that we've stayed at before because we're the groupon customers. Other than that I would stay here again because of our pets , proximity to town, restaurants and biking trails. Camp4coffee all day and cookies in the afternoon. I really don't care about their snottiness I didn't go to cb to socialize but to bike anyway.

Where's the crust? All I saw was pow!

Great location. Rooms are in need of a little repair, but the good breakfast and helpful staff more than make up for it.

My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon and rented out the Teocalli King Room. The sheets and bathrobes were nice, and the stand-in shower was excellent. It was quite cozy with plenty of room, storage space, and amenities to make it as comfortable of a stay as possible. Not to mention the direct access to the hot tub was a plus, which was a great addition. The host, Chris, is a superb cook and prepares a high-quality breakfast every morning of a variety of delicacies. I'm not even a fan of eggs but his Southwestern frittata has made me a believer now. He's very attentive to allergies as well and will always do his best to accommodate. My wife has a severe gluten allergy and he was always sure to supply a substitute. The only other thing he hosted regularly was beer tastings at 5, which we were unable to attend due to our plans, but he does have a nice selection of brews stored for it. The views from the B&B are great and it's located just a short walk from Elk Ave, where you'll find all the main shops and restaurants. Even closer is the bus stop that'll take you up the mountain. Overall, I cannot recommend Purple Mountain B&B for your stay. For the price point, the amenities, and level of service you're getting, it can't be beat. Definitely staying here again when we come back some day.

Not only is it cute, the location is perfect and Chris is very knowledgable....not to forget a fantastic chef! Every morning at breakfast he cooks something delicious and lets everyone know what is going on around town that day and can provide good suggestions on hikes/trails and also on restaurants. We stayed in the Crested Butte room which was cozy and reasonably priced; also took the cruiser bikes for a spin around town that are provided for our use. We LOVED our stay and absolutely will return the next time we head to Crested Butte.

So, not only did the master bedroom not have a door, essentially the master bathroom did not have a door either. Please look at the property pics that show the bathtub in the master bathroom. During the stay we requested that the door be installed and they agreed but never got it done. The door was in the closet but the hinge hardware was missing so we could not hang it ourselves. The property description needs to state clearly that the master bedroom (master bathtub room) does not have a door so that guests in the living room below can hear every whisper and can also walk up the stairs to sneak up on you bathing, sleeping, getting dressed, etc. as there is no door! I left a 4 star review on VRBO saying that the property would be a 5 star if only the master bedroom door was installed. Kathy Reid then left a retaliatory 3 star renter review. So, in summary the property is misrepresented and be careful leaving a critical review on VRBO as they will then leave a revenge rating.

And it's not just a limited amount of time... We have been trying to get hot water for many hours. Now there are a lot of other issues that I will list but a ski resort not having hot water is unacceptable. Let's look at some other things. Attached are pictures of the drawers. Would you put your clothes in here? We booked a place that's supposed to have kitchen facilities. The kitchen facilities consisted of a small refrigerator and a coffee maker. The layout prevents access from one side of the bed. Vacasa is also useless. Before we checked in on February 11th, they sent a million notifications with useless information and incorrect information. They have been useless in getting anything rectified. They keep saying the right tickets but I don't know what the tickets are for.. because there's never anything that happens from them. Not that this matters, but the decor is circa 1976. When we came in yesterday, the door to the closet was hanging loose. To their credit someone came immediately and fixed it. Perhaps I would have been better off in a hostel! There were other minor issues but why would anyone want to come to a place where they don't have hot water to take a shower
