I Uber'd a boil bag to my house. Although the delivery was great, the foot was average. I ordered headless shrimp but got head on - no big deal but that should've been communicated just for order fulfillment purposes. The shrimp was kind of mushy and didn't have much flavor. It was as if it was over cooked. The sauce was bad. They definitely don't use butter or margarine. The sauce tasted like water with crab boil in it, nothing more. I had higher hopes for this place but maybe their other options are better. The crawfish was good.

I am livid. I ordered from this place online via GrubHub not realizing it was just a large building where numerous restaurants operate out of. Then I go to pick up the food only to find out that the place is closed on Tuesdays based on UberEats but their website says they are open today. So my money was taken yet no order, also no way to contact them directly which I'm sure is intentional. I waited around 40 minutes with two children in tow for nothing! Don't waste your time ordering from this place.

Located at The District At Howell Mill, it's in good company with neighboring retail stores, a gym, Teriyaki cuisine and a Mexican restaurant. Not to mention the newly opened Wayfair store downstairs in what was Walmart. There's a bouncer at the entry checking bags and ID. This is Atlanta after all. The interior is decorated with all the typical trimmings - neon signage, grass wall, ambient lighting, lots of TVs, a nice sized bar and lovely upholstered seating. Service was top tier with servers checking in regularly, clearing plates, providing condiments and the food came out quickly. We weren't in the mood for entrees so we had a variety of small plates - Sea Salt wings (lemon pepper), calamari and a fried seafood sampler (fried fish, shrimp, calamari, crab balls & fries). Everything was very tasty and we paired it with a bottle of white wine. The DJ was playing all new & Old School music - a mix of hip hop and R&B. I saw neighboring patrons enjoying hookah, cocktails and pasta dishes. There's a generous outside patio as well. They had the fire pit going on this evening. I'll definitely make my way back for a happy hour and their lobster roll. They also do brunch and daily specials like all-you-can-eat oysters or crab legs on certain days. Check their Instagram or website for weekly specials. This is the spot for birthday parties, anniversaries, girls night, date night or a solo date. Good vibes approved!

For appetizers, we had the lobster bites and calamari--both were excellent. My friend ordered the shrimp linguini, and I went with the snapper fillet entrée. Everything was perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. The drinks were also on point. Special shoutout to our hostess, Auidah (hope I got that right)--she was outstanding and really added to the experience. My only downside: no military discount, and I'm not a fan of the automatic service charge being added as the tip. I consider myself a generous tipper, so it takes away from the experience a bit when that's already decided for you, especially when there's still an option to add more on top. That said, the food, service, and overall vibe were excellent. I'd definitely recommend checking this place out if you're looking for something a little different in Atlanta.

I did stop by during happy hour and got a dozen raw oysters for $24, so that helped the bill a bit. The cocktails were tasty and my broiled branzino with olive oil and capers was absolute perfection. I traded the haricot verts for carrots (and they were delish). You can't go wrong with a visit to C&S Seafood!

Waiter was from Iowa, which he mentioned, and was great about walking us through everything. Personable, knew the menu cold. The thing everyone seems to order are the R.C.'s Char-Grilled Oysters, and they lived up to it. Came out warm, light breading on top, just a thin crispy crust - they basically melt when you eat them. Really well done. We also tried the Six Oyster Platter, which I'll be honest were not local, but still solid. No off smell, nothing sketchy - just clean and good. For the main, I went with the grouper, cooked with vegetables and presented well. Not the headline dish of the night but done right. The lobster salad on the side though - that was a standout, highly recommend getting it. Fair warning: this place has a serious menu and it is easy to run up the bill. But it is worth it. The quality is there, the service is there, and if you are a seafood person, you will be kept busy working through the options."

We hadn't been in years, but it's still every bit the Atlanta staple if you know, you know. We came toward the tail end of lunch and the service was still phenomenal. My mom got the platter, I had the fried shrimp with spinach and a cup of clam chowder (I'm a clam chowder girl, and this one was solid lots of clams). We also shared a fried lobster tail "for dessert," which ended up being my mom's favorite. Everything tasted fresh like it actually came from the Atlantic, not sitting around. Portions were definitely on the heavier side for lunch, but we had plenty to take home, so no complaints there. Overall, just a solid, reliable Atlanta spot. Would definitely come back.

Let's start with the good. The wine pour was heavy and I definitely appreciated that. For eight dollars that was solid. The rainbow roll for eight dollars was also fair for happy hour pricing. Now the lobster roll. It just was not worth $24 to me. The lobster meat was tough and not juicy. It wasn't seasoned properly at all. I actually had to add salt, which I hate doing because then it just sits on top instead of being cooked into the food. It was buttery, yes, but it mostly tasted like lobster and butter with no real flavor. The bread also fell apart which was annoying. I really wish they would have grilled or toasted it more so it could hold together better. Service was a little disappointing. When I first sat down my server was a girl named Joe. After a while it felt like there was a shift change because suddenly there were several staff members around and no one was really checking on me. I was sitting at the bar so I do not think there was a reason to overlook me. I noticed bartenders having conversations with other guests, but no one really bothered to see if I needed anything else. It felt like once I had my food, I was forgotten. Overall, decent happy hour pricing on drinks and sushi, but the lobster roll and the lack of consistent service would make me think twice about ordering that again.
