We…read morehad the restaurant to ourselves the majority of the time but the wait staff was still very attentive. We started with the Alaskan snow claws, sauted, which was soo good. The crab meat comes out very easy. The flavor was A+. I rated it #2 behind Pappadeaux's crab claws. We then shared the Lobster roll that comes with 2 rolls that were perfect size for 2 people. The roll bun was soft which makes a difference when eating lobster rolls. We came back on a Friday night and it was a completely different vibe. The inside and outside were packed. We were able to get seated outside which worked better for us since they serve hookah here so if you're like us and don't like to inhale hookah the outside seating is perfect. We ordered the same thing from our lunch visit + wings (Sweet Thai chili & Honey garlic) since they had a $6 wing special. We were surprised that the lobster roll price was the same at dinner as it was during lunch. We really enjoyed both visits and plan to return for future date lunch/dinner.

The Sea Salt Dip is a good appetizer to start with, and the Pan Seared Salmon is probably one of the better choices if you want fish. The Chicken & Waffles is another popular option if you're in the mood for something heavier. Overall, though, I find the food good enough, not exceptional, and a little overpriced for what you're getting. The same goes for the drinks. You're definitely paying a premium for the overall scene. The restaurant itself is attractive with a lively, upscale lounge feel, but the music can be extremely loud. If you're looking for a DJ, drinks, hookah, and a party atmosphere while you eat, this could absolutely be your vibe. It's just not mine. When I go out to dinner, I want to enjoy a good meal and actually have a conversation with the people at my table. I don't want to have to yell across the table or struggle to hear the server. Service could also be more consistent. The staff definitely has plenty of personality, but sometimes a little more hospitality and attentiveness would go a long way. The food isn't bad at all, and I understand why people enjoy the atmosphere. It's just more of a party destination with food than the kind of dining experience I personally prefer. If friends insisted on going, I'd come along, but it probably wouldn't be my choice otherwise.

I wasn't sure what to order especially since I was excited looking at the menu initially. I ordered the famous lobster bisque. I was disappointed, all around. Maybe it's better hot since it cooled down a little by the time I ate it. I also ordered the crab & shrimp (fried) dinner. The shrimps were fine, basic fried shrimps with cocktail sauce. The crab legs are steamed ... shouldn't be a problem. While I give this a 3. I'll try them again for the oysters. I'm hoping to have a better in house experience with those.

Making reservations is really simple via OpenTable. They have Valley parking which cost around eight dollars, but there is also a parking garage where you can pay by the hour. They have a pretty large dining room with an area for more private dining as well and they also have seating at the oyster bar. This is my fourth visit and each visit the food has been really good. For our appetizers we got my favorite the shrimp à la Plancha, but I did notice that the bread that comes with the dish has gotten significantly smaller. For dinner we had the fingerling potatoes, which I was not a fan of. They were pretty hard. I got the red fish for my entrée and we got the collard greens for our vegetable and the greens tasted amazing. My friend ordered the She Crab Soup and Fried Oysters and said they were both delicious. I missed out on the Peach cake (out of season) but they had Apple and I liked it.

At our table, we had the spicy kale salad, fried oysters she crab soup, and blackened red fish. If you're having trouble making up your mind, listen to me right now get the freaking blackened red fish, OK?! I almost forgot we also had dessert. Everyone except for me really loved that apple pudding cake. I thought it was just kind of a mess. But ohhhh, the Keylime pie!! A work of art! So very good.

The interior is dark and moody if that's the atmosphere you're going for. I tried the chargrilled oysters ($24) along with a glass of Chardonnay and Pinot Grigio. Of the two wines, Chardonnay was my favorite. Both were $8 during happy hour. My only disappointment was that the happy hour menu was somewhat limited. I would love to see a few more options added, beyond oysters and wine. That said, I still enjoyed what was offered. The service was fantastic from start to finish. I was greeted upon arrival and given the option of sitting indoors or in the sunroom. Although I don't require much attention when dining, my server checked in on me periodically without being overbearing. I also appreciated seeing who I believe was the manager actively checking in on guests. Overall, I enjoyed my visit and will definitely be back to experience the dinner menu!

They have creative cocktails as the standards. We ordered the chargrilled oysters. They sounded yummy. Way too many breadcrumbs and oysters shrank to the size of a dime. I recommend leaving the breadcrumbs off. They have a list of raw oysters fresh for the day. We should have gone with that. What we loved was the long list of fish choices. The list includes the location where the fish is from. All fish is filleted. I had the red fish from BA. It was a nice meaty fish. My friend had Bronzino. We both at the whole thing. The lemon herb sauce was amazing!!! It was so good I wanted to drink it. They give you a nice bread basket, good for sopping up the sauce. The dessert list had all my favorites, sticky toffee pudding, key lime pie, white chocolate bread pudding. Our waiter LeTavius was the best. He was enjoyable to talk with. I'm giving it 4 out of 5 stars because the service was a little off during this visit. Despite that, the food and ambiance were still top-tier. For an appetizer, I tried the fried lobster, which our server recommended. It was just okay in my opinion, not bad, but not something I'd order again. I ordered the grilled salmon with their Miso Cashew build, which came with white rice, carrots, red cabbage, cucumbers, cashews, and tahini sesame-soy. It was fresh, filling, and still felt like a pretty healthy lunch. I'm usually NOT a coleslaw/cabbage person at all, so I was fully prepared to move that part of the bowl to the side but whatever they did with the cabbage and carrots actually worked for me. It wasn't giving traditional creamy coleslaw at all. The cucumbers were probably one of my favorite parts because they were super refreshing, and the cashews gave everything a nice little crunch. The salmon was cooked well and paired really nicely with everything in the bowl. My only real complaint was the ordering experience. This was my first time here and I was genuinely confused about how the menu worked, so I asked one of the employees for help. Unfortunately, they seemed almost as confused by my question as I was by the menu . I would've appreciated someone taking 30 seconds to explain the whole "choose your protein, then choose your build" setup because once you understand it, it's actually pretty simple. Aside from that awkward little introduction, the food redeemed the experience. It was quick, fresh, flavorful, and a great option when you want lunch that doesn't leave you feeling like you need a nap afterward. I'd definitely come back, especially now that I actually understand how to order.

On top of that, they took my military ID to the back just to apply it, which I found unusual and unnecessary.
