My kids were patients of this office briefly. Dr Weiss is really friendly and takes time with his…read morepatients. However, the office practices are not good. I brought my kids there for their annual exams. The office charges $40 if you want to get blood drawn there instead of going to quest or labcorp. They also charge $15 for an eye exam. Blood draws and eye exams are supposed to be part of a well child exam and a doctors office should not be billing the patient/parents extra for these services. The insurance covers all these services for an annual exam. This was confirmed by our insurance company who called the office. The insurance company wanted to speak to whoever is in charge but they didnt put the insurance rep thru to the person. The receptionist at the doctors office did not tell me they charge for covered well child services or else I wouldn't have made the appointment there. We only went to this office once and won't be returning because of this. There are plenty of pediatricians who do not try to bill the parents for services already covered under insurance.

I am very sad that this place is no longer as good as before. It's been 6 years my daughter went to…read morethis pediatric. It's only get worse every year. The people in the office now are not welcoming, rude, lazy and disrespectful! I never got a chance to meet with Dr. Weisz anymore, like I used too. I don't mind it, because I got to meet with Dr. Dina which is very nice and very informative. But the office people that makes me always irritated. Making appointment are ridiculously hard and annoying. Like this morning (2/22 at 9am), I just called them to make appointment for annual check up. But the woman said it's not gonna be available until June. So I said I want to make an appointment now. But she said, "you want to make an appointment for June NOW??".. Like what is wrong with her? She obviously said the appointment are not available until June, so I want to make early before it's getting more longer. But she look like so lazy to work to make the appointment. I just cancel then, better start to find a new pediatric!

The doctor is super friendly, does all the check up, have kept up with the growth of my daughter. The facility also conducted her hearing, vision, blood and urine test. Very in depth and comprehensive check up. We were called in within minutes of arrival. After the appointment, we walked out without any delay. Another top notch visit to this Tenafly pediatrics location.

The fact that they have a pediatrician on their staff that caused almost death to a child is mind blowing. I have not received a call or inquiry about my review or my experience under her care. I urge all parents looking at these reviews stay away from this doctor. Stay away like your child's life depends on it. My child had all the symptoms that something was wrong and they were ignored. If you are looking for a pediatrician to tell you to "force feed" your newborn, blame you for your newborn not eating and gaining weight and gaslight you to try to convince you that she met with you on day of release from the hospital than this "doctor" is the one for you! My child is still dealing with health issues from her heart condition not being caught, even when symptoms were there. As a mother- STAY AWAY FROM THIS DOCTOR!

My childhood best friend had a beautiful baby boy, and I attended a Brit Mila ceremony conducted by…read moreDr. Dania Rumbak. In conversations before the bris, I knew that my friend was nervous about the process, the ceremony, and the actual circumcision. I can say with confidence that Dr. Rumbak put the family's mind at ease both with her expertise and her gentle approach. As a "spectator" at the ceremony, Dr. Rumbak passed around sheets so we can all follow along and feel part of the ceremony, and explained what different blessings meant. She also added some Jewish text in a modern and relevant way, which I appreciated, and my family continued to discuss post ceremony. The sweet baby did super well and was calm throughout the entire process. Truthfully, I didn't even know when the actual circumcision actually happened because she was so gentle and discrete. At the end of the ceremony, many people went up to Dr. Rumbak to compliment her on one of the best brit mila's they ever went to, and many asked for her card (including my mom for our temple!). She has a great business partner in Shachar, who socialized with the guests of the ceremony, kept everything organized, and was just an all around stand up guy. Oh, and how great that she is a mohel AND a doctor. Talk about putting your mind at ease..that will definitely do it. Highly recommend.

Would have loved so much to give a glowing review of Dr. Rumbak but unfortunately we look back on…read morethe day of my son's bris and what transpired after with a lot of sadness. Dr. Rumbak deserves credit and thanks for her discretion in not circumcising our son the day of his bris due to a urological condition she noticed in her ore-ceremony examination. We are thankful for that. She performed what essentially worked out to a baby naming ceremony for us. Obviously the day was emotional to begin with and the news she couldn't circumcise was extremely disappointing and heartbreaking since this was a day we looked forward to for so long. In the days after the bris we were able to absorb the events better and realized exactly what happened. To begin with, my wife asked for a program to keep as they were being collected (yes, collected), and the response was, "I collect them." She said the same to my mom (baby's grandma). We consider this ridiculous - even if the baby's grandparents couldn't have one, at least the parents should. When I emailed Dr. Rumbak about the issue I'm about to describe, I also mentioned the program and that part of my email was left unaddressed. Here's the major problem, though. We paid $800 for a circumcision plus $150 for travel from Manhattan to Nassau. We were happy to do this because we really liked Dr. Rumbak on the phone. However, after the bris, we had a bit of a realization that really irked us. Why were we never offered any kind of refund for the circumcision not being performed? It really should have been offered that day, on the spot, but it wasn't. Days and weeks turned to months and we still were never offered anything. We didn't even get an email or phone call to check on our son given the medical issue Dr. Rumbak identified. This was surprising given the emotional nature of the day but also because part of Dr. Rumbak's service (advertised on her web site and vouched for in her reviews) is her frequent follow up with the family. Finally after a few months, I emailed her explaining we feel we are owed some kind of refund due to the most critical part of the ceremony, the circumcision, not being performed. It is that expertise for which we paid. Dr. Rumbak issued a $200 refund, saying that the rate for a baby naming is $600. It's unfortunate such a beautiful day was soured by the experience we had. As new parents we feel we were, in a way, taken advantage of. Dr. Rumbak did ultimately give some money back, but we feel we shouldn't have had to ask. Experiences like this are what make people cynical about organized religion. The right thing to do would have been to give us a refund without us having to ask. We would not recommend her.
