On the best of days (especially these days), practicing front line medicine is a devilishly…read moredifficult task. When your patients are exclusively children and adolescents, the level of difficulty increases geometrically -- along with the decibel level. Dr. Ghavami has somehow figured out how to master his difficult calling -- approaching each of his patients with kindness, humor and a gentle but highly skilled hand. He has been our sons' pediatrician for almost 18 years and we never looked elsewhere. His diagnostics are spot on, and he and his wonderful staff (thank you Connie) are like family. In an era where quality medical care is hard to come by if you don't have lots of cash to throw around, and medical practice groups resemble a revolving door, it is refreshing to deal with a solo practitioner like Dr. Ghavami. He takes pride in his work and resists being gobbled up by large practice management conglomerates. This means that in this medical practice, you always see the same doctor and he remembers you and your children by name and takes his time solving your medical issues. Highly recommended!

Dr. Ghavami was so sweet and wanted to make sure we received everything we needed. He was thoughtful and respectful of my decisions as a mom. He was playful and silly with the boys and made our trip much easier. My boys struggled with their fingers being pricked as they have Autism and had a meltdown but the staff were very understanding and helped us through it. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend.

The "nurses" sit at the front and gossip with receptionists about patients and their parents!!! Actual quote "she's f*t because her mother is f*t!" And the nurses are really one to talk. **They do NOT wear gloves to administer flu shots to the children*** Even after you ask them to please put on gloves! They don't wash their hands and their clothes are stained and unkempt. They are sure to pad that insurance bill. Who do I even call to report them? Please do yourselves and your children a favor and STAY AWAY!! The doctors know how badly their "support staff" interact with the patient and they do nothing. This practice should be shut down.

One sneezed into her hand at the front desk then called in the next patient, no hand wash nor sanitizer. They are miserable to the kids and the parents! They won't answer questions without an eye roll and a snotty reply. While in the waiting room, the front desk staff listens to voicemails on speaker and trash talk the patients! They are children and it is so uncomfortable to listen to. Dr. Torres-Soto is a new doctor at the practice and someone needs to coach this staff before they hurt someone. I will never come back until this staff is changed, starts wearing gloves and treating these children with care.
