Terrible, abusive, incompetent "nurses" and medical assistants that don't answer questions and are harmful to patients. I am shocked and horrified this practice is still in business. The "nurses" sit at the front and gossip with receptionists about patients and their parents!!! Actual quote "she's f*t because her mother is f*t!" And the nurses are really one to talk. **They do NOT wear gloves to administer flu shots to the children*** Even after you ask them to please put on gloves! They don't wash their hands and their clothes are stained and unkempt. They are sure to pad that insurance bill. Who do I even call to report them? Please do yourselves and your children a favor and STAY AWAY!! The doctors know how badly their "support staff" interact with the patient and they do nothing. Dr. Segal: please read this review, you need to take action with the terrible nursing and support staff at this practice. The nurses do not wear gloves to administer shots. One sneezed into her hand at the front desk then called in the next patient, no hand wash nor sanitizer. They are miserable to the kids and the parents! They won't answer questions without an eye roll and a snotty reply. While in the waiting room, the front desk staff listens to voicemails on speaker and trash talk the patients! They are children and it is so uncomfortable to listen to. Dr. Torres-Soto is a new doctor at the practice and someone needs to coach this staff before they hurt someone. I will never come back until this staff is changed, starts wearing gloves and treating these children with care. read more

I strongly recommend reading this review before taking a child here. The doctors are ok (Dr. Segal and Dr. Torres). We have been going here for about 5 years without a problem. But the nurses and the office staff are horrible, disrespectful and rude to staff and patients! They work with our children yet they DO NOT WEAR GLOVES to administer vaccinations! They scrubs are dirty and they are so rough with the kids, no etiquette, no care whatsoever. I asked one nurse a questions and she rolled her eyes, like how dare you? The best is they discuss patients (negatively) out in the open at the front desk. I don't know why the doctors are afraid to get new staff who will be gentle with the kids. I'm not waiting around to find out. Until this staff takes safety precautions, wears gloves, clean scrubs and respects HIPPAA we will not be back. The worst, rudest medical staff I have ever encountered. And it involved my children, which is worst of the worst. read more

My children will never return to this office due to their rude nurses and filthy business practices where they do not wear gloves. They do not perform standard tests for children and your questions are RUDELY dismissed. They make you feel horrible. I was horrified when the nurse administered my daughter's shot without gloves. I asked her to put gloves on and she said it wasn't necessary! I asked her nicely and she was extremely rude and hostile. I no longer feel safe taking my kids here and I have found a MUCH better doctors where nurses treat my children with respect. Since I now go to the new group, I can see the huge difference. The nurses at Live Well are always hostile and snippy. The scrubs they wear are dirty and they discuss other patients personal business out in the open in front of everyone. Looking at all the other reviews that say identical things, all from people outside the local area... Gee, I wonder if the one unhappy family asked their friends to provide bad reviews???? Hmmm... My kids have been seeing Dr. Segal at Live Well for years, and one has been there since he was born. I have never had an issue with the nurses or the practice and they have always been willing to go over the top to help me out. Dr. Segal once met me on a Sunday when my son was first born to give him a quick check in the parking lot because SHE was concerned! I have never had such genuine love for a practice and highly recommend them. read more

Dr. Segal is one of the most caring considerate doctors that I have ever met. When my son was sick as an infant with RSV, she stayed with me in the hospital until all of my fears had subsided. 20 years later, she is still helping me and my nearly grown up kids navigate through mono, covid, and all of the other crazy stuff that has come our way. read more

We love LiveWell Peds. We've been going there since my daughter was a newborn and they've always been amazing, attentive, and caring. They also always get us in when needed despite being a small office. The office is clean and orderly and we've never had an issue. We just adore Dr. Segal! read more

I just want to say that I had no problem with the doctors, but the staff was another story. I was never rude to the staff, but after I wrote a negative review on Google (mine was one of around 10 1 star reviews from other parents) after an unpleasant encounter (the nurse didn't acknowledge a single word I said;she just seemed to be in a rush to get me out of there), they dropped my children as patients. I mistakenly thought that all the negative reviews would spur the doctors to do something to rectify the problem. I'm not bothered by being dropped as I had been considering going somewhere else because I always felt rushed/as if I were bothering the staff, but it's extremely disappointing that nothing is being done. Some of the complaints (no gloves, talking about patients in front of other patients) are concerning to say the least. I had written my 1 star review on Google, but for some reason, most of the reviews (both positive and negative) were taken down. Of about 30 reviews, 10 were 1 star (due to staff and billing problems). Im just baffled as to why the same problems that people have been complaining about for years persist. I liked Dr Segal, and I wish for her practice to be successful, but she has to do something about the staff. read more

Amazing practice with very very caring people that go above and beyond for the wellness of not only their patients, but their patients' families. With the flu going around, please don't send your kids to school sick. Pop in for a flu test and get the whole family on Tamiflu. Within 24 hours I'm feeling soooooooo much better. I am so happy that I chose Dr. Segal as my sons pediatrician. We have had several concerns since he was born and she has always been extremely proactive and educational. As a new mom, knowing that I have her has a resource is assuring. I never have an issue getting an appointment, which is wonderful considering she is the only doctor in the practice at the moment. On the same note, I love that she is the only doctor we see because she remembers us and knows my son so well. I would highly highly recommend her. read more

Live Well Pediatrics is the absolute best! They are always polite, work with my schedule and are very welcoming. I feel comfortable asking questions because they actively listen and understand that I can be a nervous mom at times. My children look forward to seeing the friendly staff who show lots of kindness and attention not to mention their fun stickers. Everyone is so sweet and accommodating. We love this office, the doctor, nurses and staff are professional, personable and knowledgeable. I love how gentle and caring they are towards my children who can be very frightened at the thought of shots. This office has a good system to get you in and out with quality of care the entire way through. Highly recommend this pediatrician office! read more
