But they are not…read more They messaged us on the day of our scheduled annual physical to let us know that we can't get lab work done during the appointment because their lab closes around the appointment time, and I will have to come in another time to just get my lab works done. How could they not know this earlier and reach out to reschedule? They just expect me to take time off again during a work week to come in? This is very unprofessional, and disrespectful of anyone's time, especially during a work week. I chose the membership because I wanted a more efficient way to see doctors but they made it harder and more difficult than just any traditional doctor's office out there. On the phone with an administrative assistant, complained about the situation and asked to speak with someone about cancelling the membership. She did not even try to keep me as a member at all, and didn't even bother to let me speak anyone. All I knew was my membership is canceled and I will get the refund. Let's see how far this type of operation and attitude can take you. Funny thing is, there are just so many doctors office out there to choose from.

The woman I have spoken with 2ce is horrifically condescending. I have been attempting to get my records for about 12 days now. I filled out the required form and gave payment information...then nothing. So I called 4 days later. I was met with hostility and spoken to like I was an idiot because it had not been 5 business days. She actually COUNTED the days to me slowly like I was a toddler. I told her that I understand that it has been 4 days... A - no where does it say how long it would take (I was calling to inquire, not complain). and B- the front desk sent me to her bc they said they did not see the form on my chart. Then she told me that I must not have paid (I could HEAR the eyeroll). I told her I had sent my cc info and agreed to payment. So then of course she said that I need to wait and it would be sent it me. I asked her to confirm that they received my form. She refused and said I need to wait... they "don't lose forms". Then - you guessed it - my records NEVER came. So I called again. Again met with hostility. I started explaining that I was trying to get my records and she said "I can't do anything because I don't even know who I am talking to and we have hundreds of patients." Like... what? So ask for my name. I was trying to make sure I was speaking with the right person. Low and behold - she cannot find my form. They do not have it, even though I received a confirmation email. Even though I called last week to confirm that they did. Before she realized this she continued to speak to me like I was a nuisance. Once she realized, she apologized for it being lost and said I needed to fill it out again. Why the hostility? I am one of the nicest people you could meet...and I am pregnant. I literally CANNOT believe this lady has a job in customer service. The first time I spoke to her I started crying she was so rude. This time I was prepared, but why do I have to wear ARMOR to ask for MY records?

The patient portal is also very organized to access test results, medical history. However I am leaving a mixed review based on the office staff. It has been very difficult to reach a live person when calling about appointment scheduling. I also was turned down to see the doctor today because I was 13 min late for my appointment due to subway delays. When asking the office staff if there was anyway to accommodate me because my commute is long, I was publicly scolded for not calling to inform I was running late and instructed that I could either come back hours later in the day or reschedule. I was also patronized and asked "do you understood what a schedule is?" The treatment was humiliating and disrespectful to a patient of almost 20 years. I don't feel comfortable going back to an office that lacks compassion for their patients. I'm sure I've waited more than 13 min to see the doctor in the past and have never complained.

Her reasoning? She didn't want the remainder of my current prescription to wind up in the water supply: "better in your body than in the water". She was prioritizing the environment over patient health which is ridiculous because there are responsible ways to dispose of leftover medication - I wouldn't just put it in the trash. A few days after my appointment, the drugstore still didn't have the prescription for my new medication. I figured she'd forgotten so I sent a note to the practice who said they'd remind her. Still nothing. 2.5 weeks after my appointment, Dr. Buxbaum sent me a note saying she was sending over my prescription. It's been a month and still nothing. Whether she forgot or was hoping to "force" me to continue taking the medication that didn't help my symptoms, this is not a doctor I would recommend to anyone.

I remember the experience vividly because the nurse told me to undress from the waist down then she gave me a sheet to cover myself with. It wasn't just any sheet, but a FITTED SHEET. I don't know how turned off I was about this, considering there are like a million flat sheets you can use if you don't want to put a smaller sheet over your patients, but people, it was a full size fitted sheet, gathered corners and all. I'd never seen anything like it. While I waited at least another ten minutes I could hear the doctor speaking to her patient in a room next door. I thought, well, the walls must be thin, because I heard just about everything she was saying...that is until she came in. She was friendly enough but also a very loud talker. I'm sure the walls weren't thin, it was just her voice projecting. She examined me and that was that. I didn't like the vibe, but was too busy to look for another doctor at the time. I went a few more times, once for a UTI and was treated like a refugee. I realized that if I don't have any signs of future life in my uterus she wants nothing to do with me. That feeling was very evident the other times I went, like gynecology was below her. After a few more visits I changed doctors and have been happier since ( although now I'm on the hunt again!).
