Once we got up from signing in, everything we touched was disinfected immediately and set for the next person. There was an optional short tour which we accepted and enjoyed, as well as champagne when we arrived. We stayed in the Grand Turret and it was a beautiful, clean and well appointed room. The welcome tray and bottle of champagne was a treat. There were robes and slippers in the room and a gorgeous, huge jetted tub with lots of fun bubbles and bath herbs to toss in. The bed was really comfortable. Breakfast the next morning was great. There was a menu of 3 or 4 options to choose from which were delivered to our room at the time we chose. The grounds and common rooms here are stunning. We didn't have much time to really sit and enjoy all of it but we did enjoy walking through and looking at all of the details around the property. The restoration done here is really something. Buhl's name is sprinkled on buildings and roads around the area and you can tell how appreciated he was in this town. We will definitely return for another visit (soon, we hope!) and maybe book an extra night so we can really take it in everything this Inn has to offer.

Our room was upgraded at no cost because there were no other guests staying in the home this weekend, which we appreciated, especially with a pregnant wife. The only 2 critiques that I have- I would suggest to Jeff and Danielle to consider using 2-ply toilet paper. It was a little jarring to have everything else so nice and then have single ply paper. Perhaps if septic system care was an issue, you could install a bidet on the toilet. They are $30 on Amazon and an amazing upgrade to any toilet. Also, the upstairs bathroom faucet is too short- I kept making a mess of that lovely countertop because it doesn't extend far enough. Outside of these things, we loved our experience and hope to return the next time we come back to Geneva!

It's new, and it's the only B&B in Berea, with the quaint downtown square right around the corner. The owners are quick to respond to any problems, the location is fantastic, the beds are good. Even the *towels* here are top-notch. When I checked to make sure I didn't have down pillows, I found brand new allergy shield pillow covers on high-quality synthetic pillows. When you stay in a B&B in an old Victorian or heritage home, usually that means dealing with a tiny bathroom, undersized shower, and so on; the beautiful old home that houses Riverside Gables was completely renovated in fall 2012, with nice big showers, new fixtures, and new floors. Guests even have a sitting room, with a kitchenette and fridge, Keurig coffee machine, spare dishes, and (my favorite) electric kettle and teapots for tea. Glass bottles of water are kept chilled for the use of the guests, and it was great to have that bottle of water to take to my room (and also not feel like I was wasting a plastic bottle just to have something cold to drink.) There's also a separate back door for guests. Breakfast has been excellent: fruit salad to start, juice, a beautiful omelette the first time I stayed and a Belgian waffle this morning. The owners have a beautiful Golden Retriever, but he is not allowed in the B&B portion of the house. Catherine is lovely to talk to, knowledgeable about the area, and responsive to the needs and preferences of her guests. If business brings me back to the area, I will *definitely* put this place at the top of my list.

I called their number and got to speak with both of them and their warmth, and hospitality, was obvious. We stayed in one of the cabins and it had everything a hotel room would have. Actually more, as we had a small couch, and dining table to sit at besides normal hotel features. Top that off with a delicious breakfast that included, meat-cheese-veggie omelet, whole wheat toast, homemade YOGURT from a cow next door, with homemade jam. Homemade oat bread, and something else I can't remember. D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S! I want to mention that we were asked for any dietary restrictions during our reservation phone call. I encourage you to spend a few minutes chatting with Betty and Al. These humble, unassuming, wonderful people have led very interesting lives. Having been college educated Artists, they chose the farm life and have been farming, painting, sketching, and doing pottery, their entire adult lives. Truly amazing people worthy of a Netflix documentary. For entertainment we went to Mortal Key Brewing, and Gatehouse winery just down the road who had 2 live music stages going simultaneously.
