It's in walking distance to everything. We were able to walk to our concert venue and various sight seeing spots throughout our 3 day trip. Be prepared to pay for parking; as it was impossible to find any free parking spots. The hotel does offer 24/7 valet service but it was almost $40 dollars a day. We chose to pay for parking across the street as it was slightly lower. Rooms are clean and spacious. The building was a former elementary school and has some unique decor. I loved the view from our room as it overlooked a gorgeous fountain courtyard. Lovely view and great for people watching. Hotel staff were nice and pleasant. The staff working the meal hours checked in on us multiple times throughout our visit. Very hospitable! The free breakfast and daily 5:30 kickback dinner really up the value of this hotel. Each morning a large breakfast buffet is available and an evening rotating dinner menu from 5:30-7:30. The 5:30 kick back also includes 3 free alcoholic beverages. On top of this complementary popcorn is popped from starting at 4pm in the lobby, along with 24/7 access to free pop. Food was decent enough for a free meal. I liked the variety of items available and eating at the kickback saved us some money. The hotel also has a pool and fitness center. I don't know when I will be back to Cleveland but this hotel will be my go to as it really is a great value in terms of cost, cleanliness, location, and amenities.

This hotel has a lot of fun amenities like a 5:30 kickback (light dinner and complimentary drinks), breakfast, and fresh popcorn. I planned in an appetizer round before dinner of grabbing a hotdog at the kickback and a couple glasses of wine. My only complaint was that we were put on the second floor which is sort of open to the first floor/lobby, so our room was quite loud at times with noise from the lobby. Admittedly I could have gone to the front desk and asked for a different room, but it didn't seem worth it for our one night we were there.

We showed up after hours, and left before breakfast. The review is based off solely our overnight experience. The place is very boutique like. Small rooms maybe 4 or 5 rooms. Upon arrival we self checked in by code and received our key by the door. The pictures online are very different than what the rooms actually look like. Very tiny, very outdated, very dark. The balcony view is on the main road so it's not much of a view. The room is old fashioned but cute. It gets the job done for sleeping and getting ready. Very tiny bathroom. The 2 person tub in the room is not a bad touch however it takes forever to fill up, and drain. It is a duel tub/shower combo so you have options. A nice arsenal of shower supplies are available. The bed is extremely old. Very noisy. It is a small Queen bed with not very good pillows. We brought our own. The real big issue with the Inn is there is almost zero privacy. All the rooms are very close by, and the walls are paper thin. At numerous different times we would be able to hear other people just talking normal. Not being over the top loud, just normal conversations. The Inn also has a community room with tea, coffee, mini fridge etc however that location right In the middle, makes that even possible to hear anyone speaking in that location. I know it's early Spring but the grounds need a little TLC. Dead flowers, dead branches, a bunch of junk and misc supplies laying around. They have a walkway to walk through the "gardens" but it's not a good time to walk through right now. Very unorganized and messy. The Inn has a chance to be neat. A little upkeep, a little more space and you never know. The Host or Innkeepers are not there so they have instructions on how to reach them and how to access certain things. The check in- check out process is easy. I'm not sure if the place is worth the price $125 as the location is nearby a lot of different things but you can probably get the same experience at a normal hotel. I probably would not be interested staying again The beds hurt my back and people talking at all hours got annoying. I had to have my tv loud just to block out the chatter. I would probably give this place a 6.9 to 7 points out of 10.

My…read morepartner was checking out the CWRU law program, so we were really conveniently located for the purpose. Martha is very nice, and arranged things with us on an individual basis. For example, she let us check-in at noon. She also asked us about any special diet needs, and happily cooked us a vegetarian breakfast casserole. Our room was small but nice, and our bed was very comfortable. As the other reviewer stated, there are even plush, terrycloth bathrobes hanging in the closets. Martha helped us figure out where we were going and supplied us with an area map. After a long day of walking around town, we spent the evening drinking a bottle of wine and enjoying the large TV in the breakfast area. The only reason I wouldn't go to five stars is because of the bathroom. Firstly, we had to share it with the other guests, which wasn't really appropriate for the price we paid ($130 all told w/ taxes and parking). Secondly, the bathroom was next to our bedroom, so we got to hear everyone pad to and from it in the middle of the night. However, besides that one draw back, I would recommend it as a good place to stay for anyone checking out the campus, art museum, or botanical gardens.

This place serves as an inviting home away from home in a beautiful turn-of-the-century house at the edge of University Circle. This B&B has quiet, nice-sized rooms that are appointed with all the creature comforts - down to the plush terrycloth robe in the closet! The breakfast was lovely (and very filling!) and served in a beautiful dining area. There's a comfy living room where you can curl up and read a magazine. I thoroughly enjoyed my conversations with proprietor Gary, who made me feel like a welcome member of the family. If you're looking for an alternative to an impersonal hotel, this is a great place to stay!

We just moved to the Cleveland area from Los Angeles and hadn't really taken the opportunity to get out and explore our city. When he booked stone gables there was a glitch in the Airbnb website, and we got our dates mixed up. Connie went above and BEYOND to make sure that our mistake was fixed and that our stay was still absolutely lovely and unforgettable. The apartment (top floor) was incredible!!! We spoke of bringing our friends and family into town to stay here when they visit if we ever don't have the room at our new home. The bed was extremely comfortable, sheets silky and bathtub huge. The light coming through the windows just makes the place so heavenly. The keurig machine was a great touch as I could have my morning coffee sitting on the balcony. There was a great space for playing board games as we love to do, and a second bed in case we had our kids or friends staying with us. It was so quiet and serene, and we cannot wait to go back with friends! Thank you, Connie and team!

I was looking for just a bed, I don't need a continental breakfast or a pool. The price was very fair, the room was very well cleaned, and there is an attached parking lot which was not only free, but had a gate that locked after 11pm. The event I had traveled to Cleveland for was cancelled after I had already arrived and it was quite a predictament to find something to do in such a short time frame. However, both of our parties booked here and we were able to sit in the common room downstairs and chat while utilizing the common area kitchen, which was also very well kept and clean. It was definitely a good stay and also very quiet. We were able to make use of the central location and walk to several restaurants. The bed was very comfy and I can't usually sleep in beds other than my own. When the event is rescheduled, I will be booking here again.

Upon arrival in the evening, we appreciated the direct access to the room. However, multiple issues arose that significantly impacted our stay. We were unable to get the fireplace to turn on despite following the provided instructions. After contacting the host, we were given the same instructions again, and it took approximately 20 minutes before the fireplace finally turned on. Shortly after, the refrigerator began making a loud, repetitive knocking noise. We contacted the host again to report this issue and asked that it be addressed when checking on the fireplace. The unit above us was occupied, and we experienced excessive noise throughout the night, including loud stomping that made it difficult to sleep. When we contacted the host the following morning to ask whether the upstairs unit would also be occupied for our second night, her immediate response was that we could "just check out." This was not a reasonable or helpful solution, especially considering we had paid for a two-night stay. We expected the host to communicate with the upstairs guests and ask them to be mindful of the guests below. Additional concerns included water pressure issues. While the bathtub is visually appealing, after running the water for approximately 20 minutes, it barely filled, making it unusable. Flooring throughout the unit is uneven, with large gaps between planks partially covered by rugs, creating both comfort and safety concerns. While snacks and drinks were provided, one of the items. a mini loaf had visible mold and was not safe for consumption. Due to the combination of unresolved maintenance issues, excessive noise, and poor communication from the host, our stay did not meet reasonable expectations for the price paid.

Could tell the personal touch when Doug came out to help us park. It's street parking in a residential neighborhood and knowing how to parallel park is important. Before you even enter the gate we had a special Easter treat the owners put out. On every other fence iron spigot was a Happy Easter dog bone treats tied to the fence with a note from your dog friends, Olivia and Jilli; The owners pets. Melt my heart When we entered the house we were told there are two separate rooms on the second floor. This house does not have an elevator so you have to carry up your luggage. The first floor is a common area to enjoy. The decor is clean, classic, and suitable for the home. The home smelled fresh, the areas were wiped down and organized. We even had breakfast waiting for us in the fridge and home made cookies on the counter. Up to the second floor and into our room to the left we were greeted with a spacious king bed with a working fire, seating area, and best of all, jacuzzi tub. Stand up shower but the tub is where it's at. Doug walked us through all the features of the TV, remote controls, jacuzzi buttons, and history of how this once barn became a home. By the time he left we felt like family. Wish we found this earlier so we could have stayed longer. Before he gave us the keys and retired for the evening we were given restaurant suggestions in walking distance along with a coupon good to use at a few of them if interested. No pressure to eat at any one of them in particular. Highly recommend if you are looking for a place in Cleveland Ohio that is perfect for you, you and your partner, or family.
