Owners Jodie and Don were really nice and accommodating- they were working hard to get the pool open as it was Memorial Day weekend. Nice little fishing pond out front and the kids and adults were all out there catching little blue gills. The park is only a 20 minute car ride to Presque Isle which is an awesome bike ride and there are lots of restaurants and pubs. There are lots of permanent residents but everyone was friendly. We took a day trip to Niagara Falls to do the Maid of the Mist- it's about two hours away. This is not a fancy park but I would highly recommend. We are a big rig hauling a trailer and it was easy in and out.

Decided last minute to rent a cabin in April when the weather was nice! New owners were great!…read more Booked on the phone and paid in full with credit card at a very reasonable price! Met with owners upon check in and had a great conversation with them about the area, activities, etc and they personally escorted us to our cabin. Cabins are located right next to the bath house and fishing pond. Bath house was exceptionally clean and well cared for! 2 showers provided excellent water pressure as well has 3 bathroom stalls which were all immaculate. It was opening weekend so there weren't too many campers around us so that was a plus. The fire ring and picinic table were great! The cabin itself was very primitive but clean and had brand new mattresses. I recommend a camp roll for comfort. The AC worked perfectly as well! I would recommend bringing a small table for meal prep, etc. The downside is that it does not include a mini fridge so I had to cooler and ice our food for 3 days which was a minor inconvenience. Location is great and right in the middle of all the fishing and outdoor activities that we love in Linesville and Pymatuning! Their fishing pond is great too! I would HIGHLY recommend this campground to anyone! The owners are great and really care about their property and the people there! They definately made us feel welcome! We will definately return!

The toilets at the campsite were cleaned out every morning we were there. It also felt safe, it gave a sense of being more remote because of the tree density, but not so much that I was worried about anything. The lake is beautiful, they had kayaking available which was fun! No swimming in the lake though. But there were plenty of of other campers who were out fishing at the lake. I would definitely recommend camping here! I wish we could have checked out more of the trails around. Overall rating: 5/5 stars

Which was kind of a bummer because I wanted to try it. Overall the cabin that we had our picnic in was clean and well kept. This place is great for fishing, hiking and canoeing. It looks like you are able to rent the canoes to go fishing on the lake or bring your own. The boathouse wasn't open to find out any more info on this campsite but I would recommend taking a look at it.

They have many lots open I stoped camping because I had to sell my camper but it was very nice place to camp friendly people I have only really had one problem and they got kicked out the person was stealing people's stuff but as long as you put away your stuff and don't leave it out you should be fine. I used to camp 24B lot and it was nice place to be. They even have weekend campers they have a spot for them and they have log cabins for people to sleep in and their is a dollar general down the road and a save a lot. Have a wonderful time camping.

It is a smooth 50 minute drive from downtown Cleveland. Taking 422 most of the way there with back roads the remainder. I was there in know time doing the speed limit. There are a few locations to pull off I noticed. So make sure you choose the Nelson Kennedy Ledges state park for gps. Have walking tennis shoes or boots on. Do not wear flip flops. The trail can be a challenge in anything else. You will fall in love with the beauty of nature. And of course the glass bridge is something that is amazing. I throughly enjoyed it and am already planning it trip back next month. Get there. You'll be glad that you listened and went.

An update to my review for Nelson-Kennedy Ledges State Park. This is a relatively small park, only…read moreabout 1 mile long, but it is packed with plenty of fun. There are a number of marked paths through the ledges, plus there are even more side trails and ways to experience the wonders of nature. There are 2 waterfalls, one big one at the North end of the park and a second shorter one near the South end. Of the 4 marked trails, the red trail is my favorite since it is the most challenging with some great rock scrambling. You want to be careful since there are some real cliffs and places where you can hurt yourself if you are not careful, but it also has more fun packed into it than any other park in the area. They have announced a new glass walkway over the Southern waterfall which I will have to get out and check soon. Go out and play.

Beautiful view of Lake Erie. No swimming…read more  Mostly seasonals - the transient Sites were spacious and mostly sunny. We were there during the week and it was quiet.  The owner was very helpful in getting us settled, gave us a winery trail brochure and got some of the rust off our tow bar. There are restaurants nearby for takeout. The cell service was good enough to work from home. Will definitely be back.

I am extremely disappointed with the experience at this campground. Both interactions with the…read moreoffice staff was met with rudeness and a dismissive attitude. On our most recent overnight stay, we were one of only three occupied spaces in the entire campground. When we returned from a day out with our granddaughter, we found four large trailers filled with groups of adult men placed just feet from our camper. With dozens of empty spaces available, this placement was completely unnecessary and inconsiderate. The booking process specifically asks how many people will be on site, yet no effort was made to inform us that such large groups would be packed in so close. Each trailer,(not camper) contained at least five men, and the resulting noise and disruption ruined what should have been a quiet family stay. These men kept wondering around our campsite and occupying empty campsite picnic tables all around us due to the size of their group. When we voiced our concerns, the response from the office was unprofessional and dismissive -- essentially a "too bad, so sad" attitude. We felt so uncomfortable and unsafe that we packed up and left early. This complete lack of regard for guests' comfort and experience is unacceptable.

Called the office and they were more than happy to let us move. All the facilities were clean and the kids really enjoyed the playground but especially the jump pad. Too bad we didn't schedule during the weekend. Seems like they have alit going on. There are ALOT of seasonals and all keep there sites looking nice. If we're coming back through the area we will definitely be staying there again. Also, first park I've seen that had a dog wash station....very cool. Can't wait to see what they do with the old RV Park they got across the street.
