It's located in the old West End Elementary School…read more I've rented the room on several occasions, the last time was last year in July for a baby shower for my great niece. I rented the room this year for August 27, 2022, for that baby's first birthday party. My niece called and reserved the Carr room, and I went by city hall and paid the $100.00 rental fee on May 2, 2022. You can have up to 120 people at an event and the rest of the rental fee is based on the number of people that actually attend. You will get the $100.00 deposit fee back if you clean the place before leaving. We had 100 people RSVP, but only about 50 showed up, people couldn't find a place to park. They have really let the place run down. Trying to find places for your guests to park will be a hot mess!! Parks and recreation told me to call the police, it wasn't my place to call them. Anybody can park at West End Hall. My initial review was too long, I had to shorten it. Speaking from this experience just look at the pictures. I would find some where else for your party venue.

As a European myself, I knew I had to visit The Oxbow as soon as possible. I'm glad my family joined me in my foodie adventure. The fish and chips were incredibly tasty and flaky and huge. First time trying mushy peas and curry sauce; so delicious! My dream of consuming sticky toffee pudding came true; where have you been all my life? We didn't sit on the balcony since our party was too large, but it didn't matter. The loo is one of the prettiest and cleanest I've seen in a while; very charming and inviting. One of the best parts was hearing British accents throughout the dining room. So lovely that I almost felt like I was on the Isles. Looking forward to a return trip soon; no airplane ticket required. I like to be playful and they kicked it right back. We had a wonderful time. Third, the fish and chips were delicious. Definitely the best we have found in this area.
