No. They were more than happy to special-order them, and ship them to our home, and take them back if they didn't fit right. But their computers were down, so ... next visit. I am not one to write negative reviews about stores because I have worked in customer services and know the struggle, but my experience at this old navy was truly subpar. I went in for some workout clothes and found a few great deals. And the store was really organized and well stocked. There was one section of adorable tops that were marked "50% off family workout apparel" (I would like to emphasize that this sign was posted on the clothes rack that had the entire selection of this style top). I picked out a top among a few other items and went to the register. When I got to the register and the top was rang up as full price, I told the woman helping me that the top was supposed to be $10. So she said "well yeah but it was probably hanging in the wrong area". When I explained that the sign was posted in the place where all of these tops were hung up, she said asked if she really wanted me to get someone to check the price and I said yes, so she called the manager, who took about five minutes to get there and had an attitude when he came over. He said "oh yeah these tops aren't on sale". I asked him if he could check so he went and 'checked' then came back and said that it was in fact NOT on sale. So I literally had to walk him over to the sign that was on this section and he said "oh well it says half off, not $10." So I had to explain that the full price divided by two... equaled ten dollars.. He sighed exasperatedly and told the register woman to ring it up as $10 (really rudely I might add). Then I went home and a couple days later went to put the top on annnnnnd the security tag was left on. I'm going back today to get it taken off. But this was truly an awful experience. I understand that they are new and the employees aren't fully trained, but to be given that type of customer service by a manager was unacceptable. I won't be going back to this Old Navy any time soon, which is a bummer because I was really pumped about having one in town. read more

Wanted to check out the new stores over in Santa Maria, including Ulta but the store there was super crowded and had a really long line, so I abandoned my quest for new makeup and went to Old Navy instead. I was searching for jeans that don't go five miles past my toes when someone named Emily or Emilyn (her name tag kept folding backwards so I only caught the first part of her name.),stopped to help me find a pair even though she worked in the stockroom. The Jean wall was thrashed and all I wanted to do was fold the jeans and fix them but I went and tried on the jeans and they fit great. Wound up buying a shirt too. Go check them out. I would give them a 0 right now if I could! I understand there is an virus going around and safety precautions in place. I asked to use the restroom and was told no. They have the changing rooms open to use at your own free will without any safety measures and they are right next to the bathrooms so that makes no sense. I even asked a manager and was told no. I am 37 weeks pregnant and was buying clothes. I was told "go next door and use Petco's bathroom." Gee thanks. I am sure Petco appreciates that. Nice brand new Old Navy close to other brand new spots. Stopped in just to look around - ending up buying a shirt. The interior is a little more hodge-podge than I would like, but it's fairly easy to navigate. I just wish it was a tad more organized, but hey it was a weekday night so not a big deal. I wasn't greeted by anyone, which is an important thing to me, but it's ok. Checking out was easy and the cashier was friendly. Old Navy does have some good deals so I may be back. read more

This store is amazing has everything you may need and if they don't it's online. As soon as walked in I was greeted by Jordan(cashier number 3141371) she was super friendly and kind. She helped me find sizes and put me into a fitting room. She patiently waited till I was don't to help me carry mg items to the register and Asher me if I needed any other size or items that she would gladly bring them over for me. I was one of maybe three other shoppers, and the only person at the check-out lane. Somehow the clerk still managed to not remove a security tag, which we had to remove at home. It's just sad, as this has only happened to me when shopping at Old Navy. I learned that their online orders are packaged by store staff, so that explains why online orders come with tags on them too. It's just irritating and I wish the staff would just pay closer attention. read more

My daughter tried to exchange two pairs of jeans, purchased online, had the invoice in hand, told them it's was a Christmas gift and they refused to exchange or provide a gift card!! However they returned them. Let me help you out store manager with a skirt and long socks on and the girl named "Daisy" here is your return policy!!!! Just recently visited this store. Not impressed, over crowded with clothing right when you walk into the store entrance, says it all. For the limited floorspace and placement of clothing racks made it really difficult to properly sort through clothing without bumping into another customer. You can easily get frustrated just trying to maneuver through the so called space to walk through. read more

Wow I just have to say I've never been treated so bad at a store. The store was clean, well stocked and the dressing room was clean. But holy moly are the employees rude. As I'm walking around looking at everything I went down an isle and a worker was stocking the table. She looked at me rolled her eyes and I said oh sorry am I in your way? She ignored me and pushed herself passed me and around me and my 1 year old. I moved out of the isle and she just rolled her eyes and shook her head. Whatever I'll give her a pass maybe she had a rude customer or maybe she's having a bad day... so I am looking at clothes and ask another employee if these are all the sizes or if there was any in the back, I've worked retail so I know that's how that goes. She responded with a big fat NO and walked away from me. I go to check out with my 4 items and as one got rang up it wasn't on sale like I thought and I asked to take it off and that I was sorry. The clerk rolled her eyes and grabbed it aggressively out of the bag and threw it on the floor. Put my items in the bag and tossed the bag on the counter. I am in awe. I cannot believe how bad my experience was. I felt like I was being a nuisance and I'm the way all while I'm being polite and at the very least smiling with my eyes (COVID-19). First of all, let me clarify the two star review: 1 star is for the poor customer service, the disheveled appearance of the store, and the unfriendly / incompetent employees who work there... I have been to the store three times in total, and with each purchase I have had to return to the San Luis Obispo store on my lunch break from work to have security sensors removed from clothing staff in the Santa Maria store failed to remove during checkout. After my first experience at the store not having the security sensors removed, I was sure to ask the employee at the register to double-check my merchandise for any missed sensors - on both my second and third trip to that store, I wasn't sure no sensors were missed - WRONG!! 1 additional star is for the inventory at the Santa Maria store, which seems to be updated more often than at the San Luis Obispo store.. Third time is the charm, and I've learned my lesson. I won't be making any further purchases at the Santa Maria Old Navy, unless I find something absolutely wonderful I cannot live without! read more

The merchandise is a little scattered, but that could be from so many people trying to find their size to cash in on the good deals they have. I signed up for texts from the store and got 20% off of the sale prices. I was surprised to see a lot of cool styles at affordable prices. I was really excited that Santa Maria was FINALLY getting an Old Navy! For me it seemed to be easier to get to the store in Santa Maria then in SLO! I have never seen such a trashed store! Clothing unfolded all over the place! I give it 2 stars because at the very back of the store there was 2 employees struggling against the tide of messiness. I literally walked by 2 other employees who were chit chatting about their weekend plans! They were there for a good 10 mins just talking away while the 2 employees behind them were struggling. So not okay Old Navy...love your clothing but for now I'm going to SLO where the store is clean and organized with some excellent customer service! read more

Horrible Customer Service! Tried to get help and it was an inconvenience to bother the employees. This is why Old Navy is going under.

Went to checkout to pay for my items and when i seen the total i told the cashier that two of the items should be 30% off because of the sign they had up were i had gotten them. The manager was standing right there next to me and said it was only a certain color that was 30% off and that if i want them i had to pay the full price. If you ask me i say this is false advertising and i was very upset about it because i really love the items i picked out. So disappointed and wish they made it clear what was discounted and which ones aren't. Hope they fix this problem in the future. read more

Every time I have gone to this store it has taken me about 45 minutes to 1 hour to check out. Training has not been established properly here. Also prices in store are not what you'll get at check out, false advertising/misleading by old navy in general. Today was my second day going to Old Navy. Old Navy generally has okay customer service but Santa Maria is notoriously known for terrible customer service and it is reflected here at this location. I'll come back again after this location has established itself a little more in hopes that the quality improves. But I was there for 30 minutes shopping today and not one single staff member acknowledge me. The cashier barely spoke a word to me. The store was not busy but it was so messy and unkempt. Went in yesterday to do some retail therapy. Second time in the store, won't go back. Brick & mortar stores have to be competitive with online. This 'new' store looked like a midnight special had just ended. Refold your tables! Anything that was folded, was an absolute disaster. Hire more employees if that's what it takes!
