Not only did she greet us upon entry to the section she was working, but when she saw us milling about (needing help) she preempted without us having to ask and offered assistance. The first time to find an item, the second time to get a 2nd of another that had been depleted. All this while helping other customers & supporting her co-workers, whom are also quite polite and polished. We ended up getting exactly what we were looking for, at a value that was good for us. Both Wifey and I, having previous management experience, were very happy with the cosmetic section of the store, not to mention their excellent staff.

For some reason mostly Cotton Socks are really hard to find now, but they had multiple 10 packs for only $5.99 here at this Ross's. It was Gidden brand I think, as opposed to the crappy socks from Nike to Ralph Lauren, which were all mostly polyester. While they have a much smaller cutting board selection than at Marshall's, the ones that they had were medium sized and less than $10. Due to my rather negative experiences at the Ross's in both SLO and in Pismo, I took a gamble here. I scored some nice bargains, but the line was quite long. I do think that many of the other reviewers have not recently compared this Ross's to some others.

I know that when I plan to go visit young's, they'll have exactly what I'm looking for and I'll be appreciated as a long time customer.
