First time in an old navy and the workers were so rude and not helpful. Felt rushed to get out of there. They were also taking pictures of me when I was trying to find help and trying to avoid me? All I wanted was shoes I saw online and couldn't find in store. I picked out something else in store only for the product on the tag to say something different than the actual shoe itself. I asked the cashiers if I can buy the shoe from online and ship to the store since I'm about to move to across country and want to have my mail sorted out through usps first so it doesn't get lost in the system. She said they could only deliver it to a house instead of in store. I looked online later because I've always done it at Abercrombie, American eagle, and Tillys where I can order in store and have it mailed to the store for secure pick up. So not only did she lie, she was also trying to take pictures of me and laugh behind my back? Crazy. I went in the next day to return the shoes that said one size but were actually another (my luck of course) and the other person was actually super nice surprisingly. I became friends with Old Navy when this winter my son went through a growth change. He started getting so tall. There were hardly no pants in sight at home to fit him anymore. And he had such a slim waist. I am sure yelpers with children have experienced this . If not no worries. Well this store, Old Navy is a super hero in the pants and jacket department. We were able to take care of our situation. It was done all in one day. Sometimes parents have to travel all over but not us. The clerks were friendly and helpful. The store was neat and organized. And they had items on sale too. It took me no time to get my items. It was actually stress free when I shopped there. And I saved money. Customer service was an A+ letter grade if I was a teacher. The clerks made us feel welcome That raises the letter grade more higher. And they put coupons in our bags too. I love saving money! The overall shopping experience was great for me. I would return here again if I need something for my son. read more

Buyer Beware; Yesterday I returned 2 pair of boys jeans I bought online for my twelve year old grandson to your Lakewood store. They were in new, pristine condition, with all original tags attached. I had them in the original shipping bag, with proof of purchase. Because they were too tight on my grandson, I explained to the sales clerk all I wanted was to exchange for a larger size. I was told they could do an exchange if I chose the exact same jean. I looked on the sales floor and was unable to find any of the exact jeans. So I chose 2 pair of more expensive jeans, and shoes (a $75 purchase) and then came back to the check-out. The clerk rang up my return, and told me I would be getting $8 dollars credit returned to my account. $8 .. for 2 pair of jeans. ($4 each.) (By the way, these jeans, with the exact order number, are currently listed on their web site at a regular price of $39.99.) Because I had used my "Reward Points" ... I was not allowed to transfer this amount to my new purchase. So, even though I had returned a $24 "on sale" purchase, I was only given credit of $8. My remaining Reward credits were kept by Old Navy. I was told (by a clerk who could care less) that it may or may not be credited back to my account. And, if it was, it would take about 2 weeks. On top of this, on this day online, your store was offering 30% off every non-sale price item. But, in-store would not honor this. Had I not had my grandson with me (who was excited about getting his new jeans and shoes) I would have left without purchasing a thing. Instead, I ended up paying full price, and getting $4 credit each for pair of returned jeans. But, I was charged $26.99 for each new pair of jeans I bought. And, your store does not offer to match the price on your website. I felt so angry and scammed when I left this store. I am appalled and upset that this company does not automatically forward a credit for Rewards used on a purchase, when an item is returned for exchange. What good are your "rewards" if you are buying items as gifts and rewards will not be credited, or counted, on similar items if exchanged? The rewards should automatically transfer over to the new purchase. This policy is totally unacceptable to me, and I let the "lead" clerk know how I felt. (Of course, I do realize she is not the one who makes the policy.) Also, if a customer asks you to honor your online price, you should do so with a smile ... as other big box stores do. This was such an unpleasant surprise .. and made me very angry. I have been a customer of Old Navy since my children were small. Now, I am shopping there for my grandchildren. But, this will no longer be one of my go-to stores. I will be destroying my credit card, and closing my accounts here. I believe this was wrong, and want other customer's to be made aware of policy, especially with Christmas just around the corner. Love this Old Navy! They seem to have better selection than the Tacoma Mall, the layout is great, it's clean, staff are kind and friendly and you can easily park a few steps away from the door. Usually I have a great experience at this location. The people are happy, energetic and helpful! Prefer this location over the mall. Unfortunately today my experience was soured by a Lead named Ruth at the cash register who made it seem like it was such a bother to ring me out. She was not at all pleasant. Kind of got an attitude when I told her I didn't want the hangers then proceeded to huff as she took my items off the hanger and had to fold them. Also I'm not sure what check out technique she was using but she fumbled multiple times finding tags and rang an item up twice. I let her know and she rolled her eyes as she fixed it. I love this store. no maternity clothes sold here. there are parking spots are right up front. the bathrooms are clean. you do not need to buy anything to use it. there are a dressing rooms, handicapped accessible too. water fountain by the bathroom section. i also saw online return items on the mens rack. they do take in online orders to exchange. read more

Its hard for me to find clothes due to the amount of stored nutrients I have. Old Navy has made finding clothes my size easy and with their ample assortment and a robust selection I find shopping there very pleasant. The staff at Old Navy are very kind and easy to talk to when helping me decide which clothes to buy. They do not charge more for their rotund customers either, no matter what size you pay the same amount of money. In a world where business compete for business, Old Navy has the best most robust selection of big women clothes around. I am giving them a 5 cream cupcake rating in my book!!! I love Old Navy however each store differs by location in terms of service. What I love about this location is that it seems to be well organized, clean and a decent clearance rack. What I was unfortunate enough to witness was staff speaking negatively about customers that had held up the line over a price dispute. When the customers left, the staff (without discretion) accused the customer of switching a tag. It may or may not have been true however it was uncomfortable and unprofessional to discuss in front of customers. read more

This store truly deserves a kick in the pants. If I could give negative stars to this old navy, I would. I have NEVER in my life get treated so poorly by a certain female sales associate. She needs to be fired by her attitude and lack of personal skills. Heres the layout.. I had some clothes to return... The first person I talked to was extremely polite. She was willing to work with me and had no problems with her what so ever. My husband and I started to browse throughout the store... We easily had over 150.00 of clothing to purchase... We walked up to the register... And here's where the devil spawn waited for us to check out. I put my stuff on the counter... I said I had some stuff to return and use it as store credit to buy these other things.... Devil spawn stated that we can't do that and had to do it another way... Which was fine but she has this condescending attitude about it... I said I had a coupon, she said we can't use it.... Once again, had an "I'm better than you" attitude. Then the last thing that pissed us both off was declining the military discount on veterans day... The only damn old navy store to decline two folks that are on active duty... And she had a smirk when she said it too.. We threw all the clothes on the counter and left... I love the clothing at Old Navy. I like the tanks, the dresses, and the scarves..what I like even better is the Clearance Section! The problem with this location is they need to dedicate 1 or 2 people to keep it straight! There was a bomb that went off in this department and trying to make sense of the items on the rack is nearly impossible. If you can make it past the clothing on the floor, draped over the rack and half on half off the hangers you can find some great bargins! read more

I usually don't shop at Old Navy because in my opinion they can be unnecessarily over priced but I saw that they were having a sale on their jeans collection. Went in and well behold, there were $12-$15 jeans, these jeans were $30+ prior to the sale so it was definitely a good deal ! I bought 3 pairs, which actually fit really nicely. The family and I went to Old Navy in Lakewood to check out the Maxi dresses, I've never met one I didn't love. Nikki tried on a pair of jeans, but didn't like the fit so she handed them to me and I returned them to the rack. I went about my shopping until I heard her say, "Get Mommy!" I came around the corner to the security guard who asked me, Where are the Jeans? I pointed to the rack. It turns out he had been following Nikki and the boys around the store and telling her that everything would be all right if she would just put the jeans back, the problem? We had not stolen anything. I talked to the manager who said that the guard had not followed store policy and that never are store employees to confront a shopper, she gave us a coupon and I appreciated her apologies, but it certainly was not a good experience and we will visit another Old Navy from now on. read more

This store has completely remodeled and the new layout is nice. Staff is alright. Most of the time, the people on the floor ignore you and there's NEVER anyone in the fitting room when I'm there. Come to think of it, I have never seen a manager present when I've gone in. Anyways, it's Old Navy. They have a pretty good selection for the whole family! They use to have Military discounts from the first of the month to the fourth, then I found out they changed it to Military Thursdays, but found again they changed it again. Please PICK ONE. Good selection and good prices. I was recently there and I would have to say the customer service was great! It is a retail store so depending on the day your experience can be different. Just your run of the mill old navy not much more than that. Prices are the usual 10-20 bucks or so. Parking is adequate and selection is below average to average. read more
