They didn't have the size and color pants I needed so she called another store that had it and placed it on hold. I liked how she explained the current deals going on so that you can get the best value for your purchase. I was able to save over $50 due to the member only sales. read more

I came into this location at 8:30, 30 minutes before closing to get my son two pairs of jeans for school as he seemed to have grown a foot overnight. (Ah, raising teenagers) I quickly found his size and headed the cashier area. There was one cashier. Ok, I get it; the store is dead and it's close to closing. What I didn't expect was to spend 15-20 minutes waiting for someone to get approved for a credit card, including the cashier speaking to corporate and then the customer. The cashier never acknowledged me or apologized. I politely asked if another employee could come up and check me out or she could at least jump on another register and do it herself since the customer was on the phone. The answer was "No". What they didn't know was that in my former life many moons ago, I was a store manger of a clothing store for years. I know how this goes. The closing manager counts down all of the drawers too early and then you're left with one register. In all my years, I would have never refused to open back up a register. I said, "Let me guess, your manger counted the drawers too early and she doesn't want to recount them as an inconvenience?" She sheepishly said yes. Once again, she never apologized. I will not be coming back here. I came here because it was close to my home and I needed something last minute, but honestly, Old Navy is way overpriced for poor quality. Visited this place last week during a sale. Forgot my phone in the car, but told the register worker that I had a coupon on my iphone Passbook for 10% off my total purchase. He honored the discount without even seeing the coupon - what a guy! I've visited this Old Navy before. What I like about it, is that I never have to wait for a fitting room. Fitting room staff are friendly and helpful. Parking is never a problem. What I don't like about it, is that their sale prices aren't always as good as the prices online. But at least I can check things out at the store and then buy them online if I like them. Also, the store is organized in a weird way - you walk in and there's a huge display that separates you from the register workers. That makes quick shopping a bit difficult at times, if you were planning on finding an employee to help direct you to a certain product or area of the store. It also makes me wonder if they have more theft than stores that are designed in a more open fashion. It's a better store than the one at Gulfgate. For some reason, I feel like that store is more of an outlet, and the clientele is a lot different, so maybe that affects what they chose to display in their stores. This place is great for basic tank tops, etc, and the points you earn on their store credit card are worth gift cards that are good at Gap and Banana Republic. Nice! read more

I arrived at the Meyerland store on 01 May to pick up a curbside order, not realizing the store had already closed for the day. As I was calling the store to let them know I was outside for pickup, two Old Navy employees noticed me, approached my car, and asked if I was there to pick up an order. They told me the store had already closed, but they would be happy to go back in and find my order for me. I apologized and said I could come back another day, but they insisted it was no problem to retrieve my order. They unlocked the store and found my order in a matter of minutes. They were already in their vehicles and probably on their way home after a long day, but they went above and beyond to save me a trip. I appreciate the extra service, but especially the kindness they demonstrated. Thank you! read more

I would avoid this location at all costs. The staff is extremely unprofessional. While I was walking to the dressing room, I saw two employees tickling each other-flirting. They did not acknowledge me or help me into the dressing room. After picking out my items, I went to the register. There was only one person at the register and he was extremely slow. It took him fifteen minutes to check the woman in front of me out, and after finishing, he began checking his phone. I approached the register and he did not acknowledge me for a few minutes. I think online shopping is the way to go. Online was having 30% off everything and free shipping, while the store only had a few items on sale. The dress I wanted to buy was $39.00 in store, but $16.00 online. I don't understand how that works, but I would suggest trying on the clothes in the store then purchasing online. read more

CHECK OUT SYSTEM - I cannot stand the new system places have gone towards. You know the one. Everyone stands in the exact same line and one by one you are called to the cashier. That irks me. That's one reasons I just prefer to shop online rather than go into an ON store. THE STORE - Now days the stores just look overly crowded with stuff. I do not know what changed or why it did, but there is a difference. I liked it when there was room. When I walk in now, I am stopped by a wall and have to go to the right to get in. It use to be open and expansive. That was back with there were multiple lanes of cashiers. I feel claustrophobic in there now. SERVICE - The lady that assisted me could not have been sweeter. She was from GA and has not lived here even a year. I asked her how she was. She was genuinely surprised I asked and said she is rarely asked that question. How sad. I always try to be kind and polite to those in the service industry. They are people too and you get more flies with honey than you do vinegar. I had to return several items from 3 online orders. She handled it all with ease and grace. Thank you GA gal for taking good care of me. I am coming back in with another exchange. You rock and I hope your manager reads this! Funny thing is, the jeans I returned and reordered for a smaller size, guess what--still too big! So if you are looking at their curvy jeans, you might want to try several sizes and walk around in them for 20 minutes or more. I am an old navy card holder and shop them all the time for my kids and my husband. To say I am disgusted by this store is a gross understatement. They have changed management so many times and say it will improve but nope! Galleria is much busier and it never looks like this. The staff is RUDE and none of them keep the store up. I really try too love this location because it's very convenient. But as someone whose borderline OCD, their organization could be much better. For example, high waist are the trend for 2016 and I saw they had some for sale. Ok one would think they would be separate from mid-rise rockstar and pixie pants. Nope! Thrown together. A massive pile of like color pants from ascending order pants size. They do have sizes in stock I give them that but they are so cluttered. ...To say this store is a train wreck is an understatement. I used to shop at this location all the time years ago and loved it. Especially for my classic 4th of July gear -- This was my place. Not sure what's happened over the years, but this place is plain gross. Yes, you can find a few pieces if you search, but it's not worth searching through the mess of junk that is laying around. A few of the staff members are friendly at the register, but the others are pretty rude and just stand around and chat. There are clothes EVERYWHERE: on the floor, thrown onto tables, always in the wrong place, missing tages, and it's all just a dang mess. I try to give it a chance a couple times a year, and each time I go I just get mad at myself for wasting my time. The line is constantly wrapped around the register, store's a wreck, prices are off, and most of the staff and customers are just rude. Not that the customers' mood is their fault, but this store isn't the place to be. There's never anyone attending the dressing rooms, so there's clothes all over the place and you never know if one is open or not. If you look at the different reviews on here, it's pretty evident that the store sucks as of more recent dates. Post Oak location is much better and never looks as gross as this one does. Management really needs to fix it up and create a cleaner, better shopping environment. read more

Stay away from this location! I went in there and used their self price check. When I got to the register the prince was something else. I explain to the sales representative what happened and she told me she would get a manager. Before I could tell her she had already told her what was going on over the headset. There was no point in talking to the manager because she would not honor their own price check. I called customer service and I was informed the manager has the right to refuse a sale and can give me the price she wanted. Old Navy has lost a customer. It doesn't seem to matter what time/day you shop here, there is always only one cashier and they are slow AF. The employees are rude also. The last time I was in a fitting room about 15 minutes before closing and they repeatedly knocked on the doors and reminded people the store was closing soon, even though I had already acknowledged I heard them the first time. I get it - I worked in retail way back in my college days, but there are tactful ways of handling the reminders, as well as realizing you are basically turning away sales because you're rushing people out of the store. read more

We are (but not after this experience) Old Navy card holders. This store was awful and employees had no clue about customer service nor did they care. When we first walked in the store looked like it had been looted or hit by a tornado, there were hangers and clothes all over the floor. The hanging racks and table tops had all sorts of mismatched clothes. It was nearly impossible to find sizes for what you were interested in. My wife slipped and fell on one of the clothes hangers. There were no employees around to help. When paying, we told the clerk what had happened and she said nothing (no apology nor concern). We asked if the manager was available, she said yes but had no clue to actually call for him. After we left the store my son was still behind purchasing something and the clerks actually were bad mouthing us in front of other customers. I walked in 2 weeks ago looking to purchase a gift card & guess what!.. They didn't have any.. How can you run out of gift cards ? So I left , I returned today to shop and WOW. I'm generally a fan of Old Navy. They have cheap clothes, especially for men, and tall girls like myself, and they don't cost an arm and a leg. But they're pretty decent quality too. I have very rarely had problems with their clothes. This Old Navy is the worst I've ever seen. It's cramped and disorganized. It feels like my 13-year-old brothers room. The clothes are never folded, there's always a huge line to check out, and the dressing rooms are appalling. But this Old Navy is close to my home so I continued to come here over the last year. But I've had enough! I recently bought a sweater there, and the first time I wore it the sleeve came unraveled. I try to return it and horror of horrors, I brought it in three days after 30 days. First the clerk told me I could return it. Then after a brief consult with her manager, she came back and said sorry I can only give you in store credit. Fine! I shop there all the time I'll use the credit to get something else. After about 10 minutes fumbling on the computer, she goes to speak with her manager again. This time the manager comes back and says sorry you can't return it there's nothing I can do it for you. At this point, I'm just mad because I sat here for 20 minutes and then get told sorry I don't actually get to return my sweater that's ruined, I salvageable, and was poorly made. I can't stomach spending excessive amounts of money on maternity clothes I will only need for a few months. So, when I learned that this Old Navy location kept maternity jeans, shirts, and sweaters in stock, I immediately went to check it out. Sadly, the selection is pretty small, and the full priced items are a poor value considering the quality. Everything I buy here stretches out a lot between washings, and the shirts and sweaters are all so thin I have to wear a tanktop underneath. However, prices on sale items are really great--I got a sweater dress for $12, a skirt for $8, and even a pair of jeans for under $20. So for temporary wear during pregnancy, Old Navy isn't a bad choice. The online selection exceeds the store by a significant amount, and online you can choose short, regular, or tall inseams, which I appreciate, so if you see something good in the store but your size isn't in stock, do check oldnavy.com. purchased a man's belt and it fell apart within two weeks. Went back to the store to try and exchange it and was told that without a receipt I can only get a store credit mailed to me . Questioned Manager about this and she told me "too bad" it's company policy. All this after waiting in line for 20 minutes with only 2 clerks at the registers while three other stood around by a rack of clothes talking and laughing.
