My son didn't like any style and we had to return back. For adults , there are some suits/ sports jacket at decent prices . Lots of sale going on in other shops like Macy's , and we found another suit for my son there at a price almost similar to the ones in Milan . Good customer service .. nicely located in Menlo Park mall..

You're really going to refuse to take back 2 $20 bowties? One hour after purchase? With a receipt?…read moreShame on you. Aside from this being low end stuff that you'd be better off just buying decent stuff from a real store, you need to be aware of their sketchy return policy. Like I said, they refused to take back 2 bowties, within one hour of purchase, with a receipt. The guy in the store tells me that he cannot take back "small items." It's our return policy. He refers me to the return policy above the register, where it says nothing of the sort. I needed 2 bow ties AND cummerbunds for a black tie affair. Much of the store is dedicated to this low end formal wear, but they of course, do not have 2 cummerbunds. So I settled for the 2 bowties. I, of course, found what I needed in another store. So I thought, while I'm still in the mall I'll just return these. Now I get it that people probably try to scam them returning stuff after wearing them once. But, this was an hour later...and they didn't actually have what I needed to begin with. Mind you, I told the guy that I had purchased 2 tuxedos and an additional tuxedo jacket for myself and family members last year. Now this low-end stuff is cheap, so I got all of that for $380, plus we had to have the pants tailored, so about a total of $460. I'm just starting to get into owning formal wear and I have found a lot of use for this stuff recently. So, I'm sure I would have been back for another cheap jacket, or whatever. Overall, the stuff is low-end and cheap. You get what you pay for. I'd advise anyone to go to a REAL store and stay away from these cheap ghetto stores that will nickel and dime you and don't have any clue what customer service is, how to keep a customer, or just do what's right in business.

Racially profiled. Disgusting and disrespectful customer service. DO NOT COME UNLESS YOU WOULD LIKE…read moreTO HAVE THE WORST EXPERIENCE. I am extremely disappointed by the treatment my husband received during what should have been a simple return. We came in to return an online order--shoes and suspenders that were neatly packed and clearly unworn. Within seconds, the associate handling the return began treating the items with visible disgust, dumping everything out of the box carelessly, and handling them as if they were dirty. Before even properly inspecting the shoes, she immediately accused my husband of wearing them. For clarity: the shoes were tried on briefly at home and never worn outside. There were no signs of wear, creasing, or damage--because they were, in fact, unworn. What made this experience even worse was the tone. The interaction was not neutral or professional--it was accusatory from the start. Another employee, who was in the middle of assisting a different customer on the phone, felt the need to interject and double down on the accusation without any basis. Had this been approached respectfully, my husband would have been more than willing to have a calm conversation. Instead, he was met with immediate suspicion and hostility. It's difficult to ignore the role that bias may have played here--my husband, an Asian man dressed casually in a hoodie and hat, was treated as though he was trying to deceive the store. This was not just poor customer service--it was disrespectful and unacceptable. No customer should be made to feel judged, profiled, or accused without cause. We expected basic professionalism and left feeling frustrated and disrespected. I sincerely hope management takes this seriously and addresses both the behavior and the underlying bias that led to this experience.

Back in the day, I used to frequent this Banana Republic store for online returns since Woodbridge…read moredoesn't have a store. The store's layout used to be an even 50-50 split between men's and women's apparel. The men's section here has always been limited compared to the selection at larger BR stores (e.g. North Brunswick, Bridgewater, Short Hills) especially in terms of suit sizing, but over the past decade the women's section has been gradually displacing the men's section, which now occupies less than 1/4 of this store's shelf space. I'm guessing this is due to shifts in the dying demographic of shoppers who still shop for clothes via brick-and-mortar. Store associates here have always been helpful (probably because they're usually not teenagers), and like at other BR locations the cashier is located in the middle of the store. How this BR store has managed to stay afloat for this long is a complete enigma, considering that all of its neighbors on the second floor crumbled (even before the pandemic) and have since been replaced by off-off-off brand retailers, a slime factory, and a wine & paint studio. Even the Gap store here didn't survive. This particular wing of Menlo Park Mall on the second level has historically been very prone to turnover, so I'd keep an eye out for any liquidation announcements in the near future.

This location is always very neat, clean and very organized. The store is always divided by…read moresections between men's and women which makes it very easy to look for clothes. One of the main reasons I like this store is because they always have very cute work outfits that are perfect for your professional wardrobe. However, I can never seem to find things that I like which may seem very contradictory. Banana Republic in my opinion is considered the upscale version to Gap and unfortunately the prices reflect that. So while I love the way the outfits are put together, the prices seem to be very high but this has no bearing specifically on the store, this is Banana Republic in general. The only problem I have with this store specifically is that it's a catch 22 with the customer service. It isn't that it is horrible-sometimes someone will greet you and ask you if you need help and other times they don't.
