So we were in NJ to look at/buy me a new-used car, which was a short distance from this place, and yet, and yet... I HAD to stop for my bargainz!!! An hour and a half later I emerged, many boy garments richer! But let me explain. For the first time I got to explore this hole-in-the-wall bargainland, from housewares, to shoes, to toys, to Palmolive in a huge econo jug, bigger than what even BJ's and Costco have! It was 3/$10 boys tees, including the new tech wicking fabric from Under Armor, Champion, etc. sport brands. They had slub tees from Cat & Jack (Target brand), as well as polos from Children's Place and Nautica, among others. A lot of this merch is like TJ Maxx, but a heckuva lot cheaper, and then you get a lot of random brands TJ's would never carry, like some fashionable Hip Hop stuff, knock offs of VS PINK that must come from Chinatown in NYC, and randomly these British brands, like soccer (football) garments. As usual there were zillions of local sportsteam items, too. I had ZERO issues with irregulars, seconds, or any other quality defect on any of the stuff I looked at. I know those issues can happen at these stores, but nothing I touched for 1.5 hours had any funky blemish to it. The toy selection was okay. I Googled a few items to price compare, and most were lower, but I recommend doing this because one was cheaper elsewhere. This was my first time going through shoes, and I think, like most of this place, it's hit or miss. There was ONE pair of Puma Vega (ballet sneakers) there in an awesome purple color with purple soles, that was so much cooler than the offerings on Amazon or anywhere else. The shoes were a size too large for me, but a good $10 less than the cheapest option online. I was so bummed because I loved those shoes. Otherwise, I didn't notice any brands jumping out at me that others would recognize. I don't care much about the brand as long as quality is decent and I like the style. But neither of those criteria were met by the rest of the inventory, so I'll hope for better next time. There were tables of soaps, shampoos, etc. grocery store type items. Huge econo sizes of household products we all need, and use all the time. Prices were GOOOOOOD. Hit there! They also had a crazy amount of school uniform inventory! A huge variety of colors, sizes, styles, the whole gamut of school uniform basics, for cheap! I could go on and describe all the rest, but I'll just post photos and you can see for yourself. Even buying an armload of stuff here will be under $20 normally, but this time I did hit $50 (just barely), and they happened to be offering $10 off $50 (coupons handed out at the door), so YAZZZZ, I got another $10 off. They're seriously giving this stuff away. When I approached the checkout, a dad came in with a very young baby strapped to his chest, and he found his wife and said, "I thought you got kidnapped. It's been an hour! Baby's been crying. You disappear." I tried not to laugh. He winked at me like, "You know you did it too!" LOL! Yup! My total didn't work out as I thought, too low. Apparently two Hanes sweatshirts I'd gotten for my son were reduced from $3 to $1.67, so I had to run and add more. My cashier was the sweetest young woman ever. She was totally patient with me, despite the huge line glaring at me running to get more stuff. I was quick, AND I apologized to the whole line when I came back, but got the old stink-eye anyway. My cashier smiled and I told her how sorry I was to piss off the people she had to help next. She was just gracious "Don't worry about it," the kindest soul! She made my day! Love my F-Mills! When you exit, they have a camera scanning system that lets the exit attendant know what's in the cart. That was pretty cool.

When retail business declines, these companies continue to flourish for a reason, they have an operation, where regardless of city, state, or socioeconomic difference, you can always expect to find quality items at discounted, and/or affordable pieces. Because of the aforementioned, I initially opt to not take a car through the store, knowing that when I do, I'll definitively purchase many more items than intended. Reason- there's always a treasure chest of great finds, and items you forgot you need, want to get, or the price is so reasonable, how could you not purchase the item you're drawn to. The Marshalls and HomeGoods store is divided into one space for the former and the latter. The store is maintained extremely well. The store is clean, add organized, which is often difficult because customers believe they have a sense of entitlement wherever they shop, and whatever they decide they don't want is not placed back where it was found, nor the way it was found (on a hanger, hanging from a display, in the correct aisle, shelf, department, etc.). The store is well lit and spacious. In Marshalls you can find clothes from toddlers to adults of any gender, jewelry, accessories, outerwear, workout essentials, confines, perfumes, shoes, luggage, hair care products and appliances, facial and skincare products, toys, collectibles, sports fan gear, and much more. In HomeGoods, there have seasonal and non-seasonable items well organized and displayed. There's aisles with each of the following, lamps, rugs, furniture, furniture accessories, framed artwork and photos, mirrors, pet supplies, clothes, and accessories, bedding, linens, pillows of all types, sheet sets, comforters, and duvet covers of all sizes, bath products, bath furniture, storage, and accessories. There's bath towels of all sizes, colors, and patterns, washcloths, hand towels, stationary, cleaning products for home and car, cards, gift wrap, bows, ribbons, gift bags, bag accessories, bedroom accessories, chairs, cookware, appliances, states, glassware, accent pieces, laundry items, storage containers, picture frames, cutting boards, tableware, stairwells, oven mitts, serving trays, kitchen utensils, step stools and ladders, teapots, coffee cups, barware, holiday items, books, desks, desk organizers, book ends, vases, accessories for children's and teens rooms, decorative decor from around the world from ceramic to glass to wood, food items, sauces, oils, sweeteners, spices, paperweights, dried fruit, decorative baskets, electronic and mobile phone accessories, beverages, gift cards, holiday outdoor display items, and the list goes on. It's a nice store, well-lit & clean. Staff was nice, but not super attentive (I was standing in front of the cash register for at least a few minutes while two employees finished their personal conversation). Onto the clothes... I came looking for some new work clothes, but this isn't really the store for business dress clothes. They do not carry any dress pants or Blazers, but I did pick up a cardigan style blouse. Just be careful to inspect the clothes carefully because I picked up 5 of the same blouses before I found a good one (others were stained, ripped, or had seams coming apart). Material of the clothes does feel a little cheap, and prices are just ok. Personally, I'd prefer getting better made clothing at Macy's & using their coupons for a better deal. However this place is useful if you're unable to find plus sized clothing at Macy's, or Lane Bryant's prices are just too high. Worth a look for those curvy ladies. It's literally a store for ladies size 12-26 geared towards a night on the town, special events, or if you just wanna look super put together. Lots of variety of styles - and nothing like the sometimes boring department store options open to curvy or plus-size ladies. The dresses in the window are gorgeous, and inside it's all white walls, trendy music - and great stuff you actually want to wear! Both employees there were really nice - Janelle helped me with fitting room/dress stuff and was awesome! The staff actually writes your name on a wipeboard outside of your fitting room and is attentive and friendly without pushing sales. There was another girl in the dressing room looking for an outfit that I ended up chatting with and even recommending a dress for when we were coming out into the common area to look in the larger mirror. I went in looking for a dress and left with two - both onsale - and I know when the winter pounds come off they're both cut so well they're still going to look great! A nice plus - they sell Spanx, and some other really nice shapewear, and their jewelry section is dangerously shiny... I had to stop myself from getting carried away. A total go-to place for special occasions or if you want something fun to wear!

I was in the Cherry Hill Mall NJ Hugo boss today trying to return an article of clothing (at about…read more6/30pm). I explained to the gentleman who greeted me that I have a return, have the card it was purchased on but do not have a receipt. He stated I would need to speak with the store manager. The manager is tall, thin and bald. Before I can even complete my sentence he said "no, bye" I was almost certain I was in a respectable establishment and not on the street. It wasn't so much that he was unable to return the item, it was the poor attitude I received. When I asked his name he said verbatim "I'm not going to give it to you, I don't want your business, I don't want you wearing the brand, get out of the store" I'm a professional, I head a customer service department and this is not how one should conduct business. I was not rude, I'm not a fan of rude customers nor do I believe in "the customer is always right". However, this man was on attack mode. I did view the website and it reads "If you do not have your order receipt, your return will be processed for the current price of the item on the HUGO BOSS online store and receive HUGO BOSS store credit." I also chatted with a representative on and she stated that I could return without a receipt. I'm appalled at the audacity of your store manager. The thought that he can get away with treating customers this was is extremely upsetting.
