I got him today and I'm not happy either. Probably will find a new barber. I got shredded by his clippers and now realize my average tip was actually too much. The cut hurt way more than it should have. I'm not sure if it was dirty clippers or just a bad cut but I could feel the blades digging in. My neck is red and irritated with an obvious cut. I'm also particular about my haircut, which is a polite way of saying I know exactly what I like and notice when it is not right. Hayden gets it right every time. He listens to what I want, somehow translates my vague haircut instructions into something that actually looks good, and then does his barber magic. He is friendly, easy to talk to, and so good at what he does that I followed him to this shop from his last one. That should tell you everything. Appointments are easy to make, parking is easy, and the shop itself has a great vibe. Everyone there seems like they enjoy what they do, which makes the whole experience even better. My son now sees Hayden for his haircuts too, so apparently good barber decisions run in the family. Hayden is a great barber, a great guy, and the reason my hair still has a fighting chance.
