Excellent barber shop, great staff, on time, my haircut is great, will be back. Centrally located in downtown Bend.

Service is fantastic! Everyone is happy and someone always greets you with a "hello" right away! Kevin gives the best haircuts! The atmosphere is pretty chill and wow they have so many belt buckles on the wall. This barber shop is also located in downtown Bend which makes it easy to get a haircut and then walk around and get a bite to eat or do some shopping. Prices are also very reasonable! read more

This place is awesome! I love all the people that work here and I've been getting my haircut by Tracy for 4 years now. She gets it perfect evertime. It's an old school local barber experience. With all the extra services you'd need. These people care about their guests and their community. Thank you for being open during covid! read more

I requested a tight trim of the current style I had.It wasn't horribly long but it needed trimmed up a little bit. What?I got was a buzzcut on the side and a spike top. not even close! the best thing about this shop is the huge buckle display. NOT going back! read more

I got a haircut here. They cut some of my hair. She said I could come back in the next couple days so she could finish? Usually a haircut is a one step process. Try a different place. read more

Okay so I was j tryna get a cheap haircut. My mistake. I pulled up and I show this guy a pic of me with the length of hair I want and he goes "is that you?"....... I shoulda left after hearing that. My dumbass stays cuz i didn't think much of it. Then bro throws the American flag barber cape around me and that's when I knew i was screwed. 10 quick minutes later and I'm walking out lookin like the bully from toy story. Do yourself a favor and go get the expensive haircut you know you should. Unless u like wearin hats for 2 weeks. read more

My regular barber was temporarily out, so off I went in search of another barbershop. I headed for downtown Bend, since that's where there are numerous shops. Some are fancy (and pricey), but I found L&K Barbershop, with a sign saying "haircut - $22". So I figured this was no "clip joint", pun intended...Knowing most shops were appoint-only, I asked if anyone had an opening. A big burly guy with a Scottish flag sewn on his back said "sure, I'll take you. One pleasant conversation, and one nice haircut later, I was a new man. The small and quaint shop was old school, the barbers friendly and talented, and the prices, very reasonable. They don't take credit cards, which surprised me, but though I only had $21 in cash on me, he kindly took it and said "have a nice day". I'll be back. In fact, I might switch barbers. I've only had two barbers in 42 years, so this would be a big deal for me. But, a good, friendly barber, at a reasonable price is a tempting combination. read more

I've been getting my haircut here, off and on, since 1998. Went thru a cost saving phase of having my wife buzz the mop every three weeks but I'm happy to report that I am now back to seeing Tracy on a regular basis. My boss and several of my coworkers and friends also get their haircut here. This is a good old fashioned barbershop, but it's not the place you'll find a stack of Playboys or other "men's magazines" either out front or hidden under some towels in the back room. When I say "old fashioned", I really mean traditional. Hometown. Downtown. From the barber pole out front to the row of chairs for waiting patrons on one wall facing the row of barber chairs on the opposite wall. Mirrors on both walls. Carpet under the "waiting chairs", linoleum tile around the barber chairs. Coat rack. Historical knick-knacks (a collection of belt buckles) adorn the walls. TV up in one corner, sometimes on, sometimes off. More often it's off to allow friendly conversation. People talk in here. Whether it's the barbers bantering back and forth or the regulars joining in. It's rarely silent. Be it the latest joke, predictions about the weather or sharing about family and what's happening with the kids. Most of the gals in there...Claudia (the owner) Debbie, and Tracy...have been around since before I came along and have years of experience. It's like family. In fact, this might be the one break from "traditional" in the barbershop sense of things. Majority of the barbers ARE gals and not men. The three listed above being the ones with the most tenure. I've seen several "newbies" come and go. L&K being a preferred shop for newly minted barbers to cut their teeth in the real world. But Claudia, Debbie and Tracy still remain. Year after year. Yes, they take appointments and walk ins. However, they have a loyal customer base, so I recommend making an appointment. I have seen walk ins advised of a long wait on occasion. Typically, the newer barbers handle the walk ins while Claudia, Debbie and Tracy have most of the appointments. That isn't ALWAYS the case, but it's more common than not. I like that they still use a straight razor to shave my neck and around my ears and sideburns. They also trim eyebrows and ear hair. In other words, they do a first rate job. When it's all over, they do a quick "electric massage" across the neck and shoulders that you wish would never end. It's a nice touch. The shop is open six days a week. Mon thru Sat (closing early on Saturday). During the week, I believe they take their last appointment at 5:30, with plans of being buttoned up by 6pm. Still, I'd call ahead to be sure. Parking can be an issue. This is downtown. Consider it a major coup if you score a space right in front of the shop. It's not uncommon to make several laps around Oregon, Wall, Minnesota and Bond looking for an available space....especially if you are anywhere near the five o'clock hour. Best to take the first available and walk the half block or so, if necessary. I don't really know all the prices but I always leave home with a twenty spot. I think mine is a $17 haircut and I always tip Tracy $3. read more

Gordy did a great job on my husband's hair! I've been cutting it for the past 7 months, so I'm sure that it was a bit of a challenge. Safety procedures were strictly enforced, including an open door for ventilation. read more

Great classic barbershop. Nothing over the top. Get what you expect. Nice staff that seem to have lots of repeat customers

Great cut, service, atmosphere, very friendly and I will definitely return on my next trip.

Needed a better haircut than the usual Great Clip haircut that after several weeks your hair grows out uneven. If you call for an appointment ask for Tracy. Very professional about her cutting. You will get a great cut, a little shave of the back of your neck and ears, and a hand held mini message around your shoulders. Small talk is always fun to hear . Like when whom ever is in the shop participates in the conversation. This will be my go barber going forward when I'm in the area. read more

Ok haircut nothing exceptional for 25$ I'm retired militry and mostly get a high and tight style. I was a little annoyed that they have a great patriotic space playing heavely on honoring service. It's a little disappointing that that does not include a military discount on the cut. Thank you for showing support. I'll personally l stick to the shops that actually give support. not just talk about it. read more

I will definitely be back! Not only did I get a good haircut from Debbie, I loved being there. It felt at home!

Best Barbers in Bend. Great little shop. I have lived in Bend for almost 25 years and this is one of the few places that hasn't fallen victim to the gentrification. My Barber, Bobby, is awesome. Very personable and has taken care of my haircuts and beard maintenance. I highly recommend him and this Barber shop. They are busy so I recommend making a appointment or at least calling in advance that day to set up a time. read more

L & K Barber Shop - Barbers Near Me - Bend, Oregon

I am a very, very fussy woman. I've been coming to L & K for 20 years. The atmosphere is great and the service is outstanding. I've had some bad haircuts when I have been out of town or just gone someplace else becasuse it was closer to home, but always come back to Debbie to 'even things out'. My husband comes here and so do quite a few of my friends. Try it! You won't be disappointed. read more

Not very happy. Just left Debbies chair. $18 for a hair cut, and now I'm going to another barber to get it cleaned up. She can cut hair, but so can I with a pair of sissors. But I guess I go to the professionals so it looks like I Didnt cut it myself. I think I could have done almost as good as Debbie. My hair is sticking up and looks terrible. Walk ins beware. Maybe others here do a better job, but I won't be back. read more

What a lovely local find! We are new to the area, and are very glad that we found L & K Barber Shop. Debbie gave my husband a fantastic cut that he is happy with (and he is very picky about his hair). Very welcoming, and we even randomly met some new neighbors while we were there. Please note that they only accept cash or check, but there is an ATM right across the street if you get stuck. We'll definitely go back. read more
