I don't write reviews lightly, but what happened at Willy's has crossed every line of safety,…read moreprofessionalism, and basic human decency. My fiancé and I have supported this local spot for years. It used to be a reliable go-to. But over time, something shifted--and now I know exactly what it is: the cook, Laura. On 11/28, I ordered steak and eggs. What I was served was not just unappetizing--it was dangerous. The steak smelled rancid, oozed a grayish liquid, and had visible discoloration. We flagged it immediately. Today, we returned to follow up and were horrified to learn that Laura had been explicitly told not to use those steaks because they were spoiled--and she served them anyway. Let that sink in. Why wasn't the meat discarded? Why did she knowingly serve it? Is she untrained, negligent, or something worse? And more importantly--why is she still employed? This isn't an isolated incident. Months ago, I stopped in for a quick lunch and became violently ill within the hour. I had to pull over to vomit and missed an important business meeting. I suspected something was off then, and from that point on, I would call ahead to make sure Laura wasn't cooking. Recently, I gave her the benefit of the doubt. That was a mistake. There's a level of disregard here that feels personal. When I asked to speak with her after learning about the spoiled meat, the staff refused and smirked like it was a joke. It's not. This could have led to hospitalization--or worse. This is a public health issue. Laura's actions were reckless, and the restaurant's failure to act is inexcusable. I'm mortified, furious, and deeply disappointed. Willy's was once a place I proudly supported. Now, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Until there's accountability, I won't be back--and I urge others to think twice before risking their health here.

Very very very bland which is so disappointing. Why don't places season their chicken??? Or maybe they surface season and don't let it marinate. The chicken isn't directly on the lettuce when you receive it though, which is smart so the heat won't wilt the lettuce. The lettuce was crispy and good amount of cheese. It was shaved and crumpled Parmesan, I believe. Croutons were good but the dressing was okay. I think it was made in house, definitely taste the anchovies but something was missing. Couldn't quite put my finger on it. Overall, I did enjoy the salad!

The first time I recall having a shrimp salad sandwich which was the special of the day served with fries and it was a good portion. The second time around I got the cheese steak with whiz and I wasn't as big a fan of this. I actually ended up switching with my bf who got a tuna salad which tasted fresh and had bits of candied pecans which offset the pepperiness of the tuna crust. Service is always fast and friendly- a good neighborhood place to stop in for drinks and tavern ish fare. More a 3.5 than a 3. (Wish Yelp would implement half stars :/)

In fairness, the place was busy but that also is typical on a Sunday around noon. We had a party of 5 and had to wait approximately 20-30 minutes to be seated. We received our coffee and waters however there were no spoons in our napkin of silverware so we had to use knives to stir in the creamer and sugar for the coffee. The waitress also brought a drinking cup full of half-n-half to the table for us to use in our coffee. This made quite a mess since pouring from a drinking cup resulted in drips and spillage onto the table. It was busy so we could not get the attention of anyone to ask for spoons after we realized they were not in the napkins. Jokes of course ensued about whether we were to use our fingers to stir our hot coffee. Later, when our entree's arrived, they had put 2 separate orders onto one plate and even though we requested fruit on the side for our french toast, the fruit was on top of the toast. These were all little, irritating things which combined made the dining experience memorable but for the wrong reasons.

You can tell people really like this place. Lots of options on the menu. I went with the classic Eggs Benedict, which here comes with an interesting twist -- they add cheddar cheese. That was new to me. My daughter ordered the Belgian waffle with sausage. They didn't ask patty or link, so we rolled the dice -- it came as links, and she wasted no time eating them. The waffle filled her up quickly. Fresh blueberries on top, crispy on the outside, airy on the inside, and sweet in all the right ways. When my Eggs Benedict arrived, it looked a little small at first and the potatoes barely filled the plate. But don't let that fool you. What a flavor. What a presentation. The hollandaise was perfect -- thick enough that it barely dripped off the muffins. Once the creamy yolk broke and mixed into that sauce, it was game over. The cheddar addition actually works, giving the whole dish another layer of richness. This is top-tier classic Benedict. Coffee was solid, the atmosphere cozy, and the pricing surprised me in a good way. My daughter's meal was $5.99, with only a $0.75 upcharge for juice, which is hard to beat these days. Good service, good food, and a comfortable place to sit down and eat. We'll definitely be back!!!

Like if they are doing it clock-wise, you can't switch giving orders with the person after you. I thought that was funny because when the orders came, they still had to ask "who's who." Fair kids meal pricing too, with usual crayons and activity paper menu. If the server take nice group picture I would have rated 6! J/k. Only reason it's 4 is because I don't feel the servers have the "right" energy for that day. I would have understand if it was one of them but both of them were almost nonchalant. LOL!

And the vegan options? Shockingly good. Thanks to the Gardein chick'n plant‑based options, there are actually numerous vegan dishes to choose from--you're not stuck with the sad "token vegan entrée" or piecing together a meal from sides. It's real variety with real flavor. And bonus: they don't cross‑contaminate. The vibe hits that perfect sweet spot between sports bar and local pub--lively, comfortable, and never chaotic. Staff stays on top of everything, too. Drinks refilled, plates cleared, questions answered... they're attentive without hovering. And the table‑side ordering system is killer. It makes the whole experience smoother, faster, and honestly kind of fun. No waiting around, no flagging anyone down--you're in control. Yard House nails the combo of great food, great service, and great atmosphere. It's the kind of place you walk out of thinking, "Yep, we're coming back."

P is for Primanti Bros., representing 2024 in alphabet series:…read more I was familiar with Primati Bros. when I visited my parents in Lancaster. They live very close to a location there, and we got pizza to go when I was visiting them one time maybe in 2022. The pizza was very good as I recall. Then, I saw there was a location of Primanti Bros. opening in Linthicum Heights near BWI Airport, the first location in the Baltimore-DC area. They were having a grand opening on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, where the 1st 100 customers were going to get free sandwiches for year. I live about 13 miles from here, and I toyed with the idea of trying to be one of the first 100. But I opted against as even if I got there at 6 AM for the 10 or 10:30, whatever grand opening time, and there's still no guarantee I'd be the 1st 100. And I'd be pissed that I drove all the way there and stood there for hours to get nothing in the end. Not to mention, I had work too (although on average probably slower due to also Juneteenth holiday), which I could do from out there to a certain extent. Ultimately, I had emailed them, and they said the 100th customer got there at approximately 4 AM that morning! That's insane. This place really has a cult following! A friend, who knew I lived in AA County, loves this place and mentioned the idea of meeting up with me one Sunday to watch a Ravens game, and him and his fiancée (wife as of March 2025) went up there a few times to watch game or other reasons they went that way. On Thursday, October 3, 2024, like Juneteenth the holiday Primanti Bros. opened, it was Rosh Hosannah, and that friend who had off (as he works in a school & they get the Jewish holiday) off invited me to lunch with another friend of ours. My work was slow that day, and I needed to eat lunch somewhere anyway. I probably would've eaten lunch at home or close to home if they hadn't thought to invite me. So, I drove the 13 miles from home to meet up with them. Those two friends were kind of high. Well sure, it was a holiday they were off work. And they were hungry too! I was hungry too because well it was lunchtime. Service was prompt & friendly answering our questions. However, server was a bit of a klutz as she accidentally spelled some water got a bit on one friend. Geez, was she the one who was high?!...just kidding, it's just one of those accidents that can happen being a server. She was apologetic. My friend took it with stride having a positive attitude. I believe I got a pastrami sandwich, but could've been corned beef. Their sandwiches are big, pilled high with lots of meat & delicious too. I can really see why the following for this place with the quantity but also the high quality. Fries were plentiful too, which were also delicious. I ate well that day for lunch and was quite full. I went to an event that evening, and I think I just ate something small/snack for dinner that night after I got home around 9 PM. This was a great service with excellent plentiful sandwiches & fries and nice service.
