I didn't hear from Jason until 6pm that evening, saying he mixed up appointments and asked if he could come then. However, during the whole appointment he acted like it was a huge inconvenience for him to be there after hours. Even though he was the one who was 7 hours late! He complained about having to give me a "Free Estimate" because I had a coupon. A coupon his company sent me! Somehow he convinced me that I should buy new gas logs from him. So I told him I would be in touch. Fast forward a week later. I had an appointment at 11am again. And AGAIN that time came and went. I called, emailed and texted, but never heard anything. I took PTO hours off so I could be there for the appointments at 11am! I know, I should have learned the first time, but I truly thought it was just a misunderstanding. Nope- it was very much on purpose. So incredibly unprofessional and rude. I rarely post reviews, unless service was excellent or absolutely terrible. Im not prone to dramatics or exaggeration. The service was just truly that bad. Hope this helps someone looking for fireplace/chimney service. Do not use this company.

Of course we had our chimney cleaned and inspected by other companies before and were always told there were many repairs needed. Pro Chimney Services sent out Jason and he did a fair and honest inspection. He came back a couple of weeks later and did the few minor repairs needed to bring our fireplace up to National Fire Safety Standards. I would highly recommend Pro Chimney Services for chimney cleaning and inspection. Both Jason and the office staff were very friendly and fully explained all services offered and what was needed once they got to our house. Not once did they try to oversell. They are definitely in business for the long haul and want satisfied, repeat customers. I am definitely one of those!

There is no way the reviews for this business are real. Lance (more on that later) came to my house…read moreand replaced batteries in a remote that was already working and hit a reset button. During the visit I told him the remote was already lighting up, so it didn't need batteries. It made NO sense to change them to begin with. While there, I asked him about fixing a loose halogen light, and he told me it was too complicated. When I explained that I had fixed them before, he then acknowledged how much I know about my fireplace, but still did not help. He just provided me a link to some glue. Nowhere during his visit did he exhibit expertise that warranted a $399 visit "for his time" (his words). After calling and emailing multiple times with absolutely no response, I texted Lance who was, it turns out, the owner, although this had never been conveyed. When we got on the phone, he was in a bad mood, called it an "f-in" (but used the real word) Monday and then proceeded to talk about how awesome he is, how much his time is worth, how many awards he has won, etc. He also said, "You are one of those people who lives in a world where you think the customer is always right, and you have no clue about the real world." He was so rude and disrespectful. My entire call with him was to understand why the invoice was $399. You can tell I'm not the first person to ever question this based on his response. I would NEVER use this company again. His work is overpriced, I'm not convinced he understands fireplaces since he changed batteries in a remote that was clearly working, communication is terrible, and his fees are not clear at all. If you do get him on the phone, be prepared to hear about how awful his day is and then be prepared to be insulted. I'm hoping he takes my $399 and puts it towards anger management classes.
