I love supporting small businesses and they really do offer a nice variety of produce. If you enjoy fresh fruits and veggies, this is a good place to stop. For me it can be hit or miss. I recently went to look at Christmas trees and none of them were labeled for type, height, or price. There was only one employee working that I could see. He greeted us when we arrived and then seemed to disappear, so there was no one to ask for help. We ended up leaving because we had no idea what the trees cost. Overall, Reggie's Veggies has a lot of great food options in stock and is worth visiting for produce, but the experience can depend on staffing and the time of year.

Because my daughter works in Boise I had her stop by and pick up a couple flats which the employee picked out of their refrigerator van. The top flat of strawberries looked good, but when you look at the bottom of each container, there were moldy strawberries in everyone. The second Flat, which, of course was hidden was full of moldy strawberries. My daughter just assumed they would be providing fresh good fruit, and didn't look at them because she had already paid. When she went to unload them out of the car, she realized they were all rotten . We contacted Reggie's veggies the next day and they refused to accept the flats back. Definitely not the same Reggie's veggies that my mother used to go to. Would not recommend anyone to go there.

Morels and huckleberries in season. And they now have cold beverages on hand! I am always sad when they close for the winter, and look forward to late spring when they open again. Thom and his employees are really nice folks, and will even carry your stuff to your car if you want. If it is not growing in my garden, I buy it here!

I saw a gentleman pull some fresh pepperoni pizza out of the brick oven. That was my sign to grab my husband a couple slices, he loves pizza. The gentleman helped a couple guests ahead of me. One huge slice, many smaller slices and some slivers. I asked her if 2 smaller slices count as 1. She said yes. I wanted a total of 2 big slices. I was in the middle of asking her and was cut off cause I didn't answer her if I wanted pepperoni or Hawaiian. I was literally trying to talk her that I wanted a total of 4 slices to make 2 big slices and was shut down. I took my 2 small slices and went on my merry way. I honestly didn't even want to take the slices I had. The whole interaction with her was tasteless. Why would I want to bring this to my husband? I have never worked in a Deli type job but I have worked in the food industry. Today's interaction with the gal was such a turn off. Maybe she should stick with making the pizzas instead of helping customers. What a complete waste of time coming in and grabbing 2 uneven slices of pizza. I haven't been in for a long time before this and I don't see myself coming back anytime soon. I'd rather buy a full pizza and have my husband toss the other half of the uneaten pizza than be treated like how I did today.
