    Almost all produce is organic!
    Michele R.

These long time owner retiring from local, small grocery stories almost never have the happy ending of this one! Because when Cliff Metcalf and his wife decided to retire in October 2022, with their seventies nearly in rear view I hear, him being in grocery his entire career and them owning Cliff's market since 1997, there was a local young rancher husband and wife ready to to buy this business and keep it running as local market with a focus on organic produce, locally sourced products as much as possible, and now with a freezer featuring expanded selection of local, humanely husbanded, pasture raised animal proteins too given the owners are the Cunninghams of Cunningham Pastured Meats. What is really astounding is that with a young family of six children, one an infant, and running a farm ranch and a meat storage business that the Cunninhams have the energy to take this on too in their work for the community. But so they have! https://cunninghampasturedmeats.com/about The store, still called Cliff's, now is about the same as then when the Metcalf's owned it if maybe a little brighter and organized now. Less than a month into new ownership it is still a little bit of a work in progress. Cliff's was known for an expansive gluten free baking goods section, I don't know the back story on that as to why but there it was, and it looks as if some of that will be retained with the new owners. If I could wave my magic wand I'd have them add a scale in the produce section because it has always been so that the only way to weigh produce is to take ot to the main registers to do it then go back to produce to add as needed. LOCATION: Just a few blocks off of downtown Caldwell. PARKING: Good sized, striped lot. ACCESSIBILITY: Level into the store from the parking lot. One sign around the side indicates Accessible (aka ADA) parking spot with clear space that would work as van accessible. All on one floor with ample clear aisle space. LOO: They have 'em!

What a nice find in the 2C! If you want a good selection of organic selection, this place is for you. Also seems to have a good selection of local products. Finding a good selection of fresh produce in the middle of winter is nice, but be prepared to pay for what you gat. Very nice employees. Lots of local products. Would have liked someone to have acknowledged me before checking out. I look forward to heading over here when more local produce is in season.

We love cliffs country market! Our favorite thing to get right now are the doughnut peaches, or Saturn peaches! We're always welcome with a smile and a helpful employee, good prices for the area!

Came here for the first time last week (and went back the day after!). They have such a huge selection of produce. I've never seen so many different types of apples in one place! They make a lot of things in house like their jams, salsas, and baked goods. We've tried their pumpkin bread, sticky bun, apple cake, and homemade salsa and we loved all of it! Our favorite was probably the sticky bun. The inside was so soft and the outside had a delicious crunchy texture. It had the perfect amount of caramel without it being too sweet or sticky. We love how reasonably priced they are especially with all the organic and locally made food they sell. Their workers are extremely nice and they make it such a wonderful grocery shopping experience. We can't wait to go back and try the other foods they have to offer!

I've been to Cliff's twice in the past month. They have a fairly large selection of organic fruits and vegetables at surprisingly reasonable prices. They have "sale" items and this past week it was organic Honeycrisp apples for 99-cents/lb. which is about half of what you'd pay at the grocery store. They have probably 8 different kinds of apples - all at reasonable prices, same with the oranges. I find their vegetable selection to be significant as well, but those prices seem to be higher. For example, organic zucchini was $2.99/lb. But like I said, a good variety of things, several different types of onions and potatoes and tomatoes and cabbages. I have not checked out the "other" things like packaged goods, but they seem to have quite a bit of those things - like granola and jams and such. The only thing that bugs me about this place is that they only have 2 scales and they are at the registers. So, if you are on a budget and want to know how much something will cost, you have to keep walking up to the front and using the scale there .... that may be in use by the cashier. That's OK though, I'm still a fan of Cliff's.

Nowhere else in the valley can you get delicious hog-head stew, with generous portions brain & genitals. Yum-yum!

I hate their return policy, would rather give the business to Trader Joes ir co-op. For the price, they need to do better!

This farmer's market is perfect for our covid life right now. This is the description for it on…read moreFacebook: Reko is a Facebook based, pre-ordering system for local products. Imagine being able to shop for fresh, local and ethical produce and goods on Facebook, while supporting small-scale producers. Simply join our Reko-Nampa group on Facebook and place your order by commenting on the producer's weekly posts. You will then be able to pickup orders every Tuesday at the Sportsman's Wareouse parking lot at 6pm. (Shout out to Tia Groves, one of the admins. The page is easy to follow and very organized.) Went to this location a few weeks ago. Today, I checked out REKO-Meridian. Noticed some of the same vendors at both locations. When you arrive you really have to pay attention as there are not a ton of vendors (at least, not yet) and vendors sell out of the back of their vehicles. I had a difficult time at both identifying who I bought from online. Here's the 411 on vendors I bought from in Nampa and Meridian. The Meridian location has 5.6k members (so, I hope to see this market grow) The Nampa location has 1k+ members Wufyre Coffee Roasters Offers two types of coffee. I got the Sumatra. The aroma filled my car all the way home. Took everything I had not to make a cup pdq. Saving it for tomorrow morning. Steele Legacy Honey & Crafts Bought their Wild Sweet Clover Honey. They have two types in various sizes, along with beeswax, honey butter and honey sticks. Didn't check out the crafts. I'm a big fan of using local honey - good for your health. They had a separate vehicle for dairy products, too. Not sure if these two are connected though. Hipwell Ranch Wanted to order meat from them, but I waited too late. All natural and grassfed. Challah Bread Home Svetlana's challah bread, cinnamon bread and pocket cookies are the bomb! Made french toast out of the cinnamon bread - and wow. Groves Country Mushrooms Family farm of 4th generation farmers. Their mushrooms inspired me to buy the mushroom cookbook they sell and get the 'mixed' bag of mushrooms. I don't know much about it and this is my first step into learning all about it. I made a mushroom sauce with my mixed bag and it was so good. Housewife at Heart Miranda had take & bake items and tamales. I just bought her Chicken & Potato tamales today. Can't wait for dinner tomorrow night! These are the only vendors I've bought products from (so far) - not to say the others are probably amazing, too. This is a wonderful way to support our local businesses and get fresh and healthy food, too. Many do appreciate if you pay in advance of pick-up - most use Venmo. They list payment options and such in their weekly posts. Do note: Covid pre-cautions are not being followed by most vendors or customers. No one is hassling each other for it. Most are following the 6 feet apart recommendation.
