Not bad. Lots of daytime classes, especially for older folks. Evenings are crammed with teens.

We probably would have done the family plan if everyone was in agreement. Anyhow, probably stay at our current gyms for the time being. Spacious, cardio upstairs on the overpass walkway. Basketball court always busy. Sauna is a bit tight. It gets pretty busy but we didn't end up waiting for anything and got our workouts done efficiently. Free weights, bench racks incline flat and decline. Squat racks, smith machines, cable machines, racquet ball courts, cardio machines and stretching area. They also have a cafe and vending machines for your smoothies and protein needs. Parking lot is limited during peak times but there's plenty of space to find a spot. People make their own too haha. Overall a good spot in the area. Some of the equipment definitely felt like it's been moved, but manager did say they always try to fix anything that's down quickly. Hopefully that's the same with the pool!

I've been on the hunt for a new gym without…read moregoing too far & one of the amenities that I was the most excited about was the indoor pool. I'm a former swimmer & miss lap swimming, so finding a gym w/ a pool would be ideal for me! Unfortunately, the pool has been out of service since November & they've been having HVAC issues + I guess struggling to find someone to come to fix it? Not entirely sure but hopefully the issue will be resolved soon. They have lots of cardio machines, mainly on the second floor. There are stairmasters on the first floor by the locker rooms, weight area is in the back of the gym first floor along w/ a bunch of machines scattered around, and a cycle room. Locker rooms have saunas in both men & women's. I do like that they have a cycle room! I'm a big fan of spin & would like to pop in to one of these classes eventually. If you like playing basketball, they have an indoor court as well! Staff is really nice here & for the most part, the gym was kept pretty clean. The membership plans are quite affordable, in my opinion! I've gone to gyms where I've spent hundreds of dollars a month, less than $100/month, and Planet Fitnesses/Crunch but I would say LA Fitness' memberships are a great deal if you're looking for a place that has more amenities than your typical weights-only gym w/o paying Lifetime/Equinox prices...also actually cheaper than our local YMCAs. Standard membership is ~$30 but if you sign up for a family plan (w/ $99 initiation fee), each person is $20/month up to 4 people per plan. The equipment here does seem worn but didn't come across any that were broken or anything. There are some machines that I was hoping to see and not sure if they will be getting some new machines? Honestly, still debating on joining membership because my main goal was to find a gym that has a pool and it's uncertain when the pool issue will be fixed. Parking: they have a good size free parking lot but it does get pretty packed & many people end up parking in non-spots lol. ***Babysitting is available if you have kids in the household! $10 extra add-on/month per kid to membership***

In August, before my sister's wedding, I booked an appointment at this salon based on a friend's…read morerecommendation. I was very specific about the techniques and cut I wanted and was assured they could handle it. When I arrived, I was told my appointment had been switched to a "more experienced" stylist. Her previous client was unhappy with her color, so instead of focusing on my appointment, the stylist kept going back and forth, working on that client's color while also cutting my hair. She completely ignored me, barely consulted with me, and kept insisting the haircut I wanted "wasn't that hard," as if I was making a big deal over nothing. The result was a terrible haircut that was not what I asked for at all. At first I thought I might be overreacting and tried to give it time, but months later my hair is still completely messed up and uneven from that cut. This was an incredibly disappointing experience, especially before such an important event. Terrible customer service and I would not return or recommend this salon

Poor Experience - Unacceptable Customer Service…read more The massage itself was good, but everything that followed completely overshadowed the experience. After my service, I paid with a $150 gift card at the front desk. The employee, Jane, ran the gift card multiple times and even said "third time's a charm," then told me I was all set to go. Based on that, I left. Shortly after, I received a call saying there was supposedly only $10 on the gift card. I explained that the card was for $150 and that I had been told I was all set after it was rung in multiple times. I answered the call and also called back to try to resolve the issue responsibly. The general manager, Samantha Goy, called me. Unfortunately, the conversation was extremely unprofessional. She was rude, aggressive, and would not allow me to speak. When I reminded her that I was the customer and was trying to explain what happened, she responded, "That's not how this works." Despite explaining that:    *   I was told I was all set and cleared to leave    *   I did not knowingly leave without paying    *   I had already contacted corporate by phone and email with no response Samantha Goy accused me of nonpayment, claimed I left without paying, and threatened to file a theft charge with the police if I did not immediately pay--while they still have possession of my $150 gift card. I repeatedly stated that I would never intentionally leave without paying and that I was actively trying to resolve the situation through corporate channels before settling any remaining balance. None of this was acknowledged. When I asked to speak with her manager, Sean, I was told he would not speak to me. This interaction was demeaning, hostile, and completely unnecessary. A simple billing issue caused by staff error should never escalate into accusations and threats. I am beyond upset by how this was handled and expected far better professionalism from a business of this caliber. So disappointing.

I went to my first spin classes and was soooo disappointed. The equipment is TERRIBLE! The bikes are falling apart and none of the fly wheels have even dispersment. The first bike I got on: I couldnt wear my spin shoes because one had a clip and one didnt. The second bike: The handle bars moved back and forth horribly and wouldn't tighten. It was bad. To top if off, three weeks after I joined they changed the schedule and now only offer it twice a week. The other three days are bootcamp...and that costs extra. I imagine they are trying to make up for lost revenue because they cant get new members!

The lighting is sub-par and I honestly wouldnt feel safe here at night. I walk in and stand there for a good 5 mins before a very young man (teens) walks out and says 'whats up?' I tell him I was interested in membership and he hands me a class schedule. I ask him about pricing and he says he doesnt know cuz the 'dude' who does that isnt in yet...I ask if I can see the facility and it wasnt finished. At the end of our fast tour I asked if the 'dude' was in and could give me info on pricing and he said no. Could I leave a number, I ask? 'Uhhh, sure whatever?' I just walked out. Talk about a waste of time.
