Upscale tavern with elevated bar food…read more Wings with Alabama white bbq sauce. Petite wings with a tangy white sauce. Excellent. Chopped salad - a variety of mixed greens and veggies well chopped. Nicely prepared. Blackened Mahi Mahi Tacos - 3 tacos with large chunks of fresh Mahi Mahi. Garnished with red cabbage slaw and guac. Served with a side of rice. Top notch fish tacos that I highly recommend. The exterior is adorned with beautiful plants and flowers. The interior is bright and contemporary with a farmhouse vibe. Plus plenty of perfectly positioned screens to watch your favorite game. The service was on point for the most part. Our server was great but I think he was working too many tables bye himself so we kinda missed the opportunity to order a second round of drinks. We are definitely adding Black Rabbit to our regular rotation. Give it a try.

We got wings, which were delicious, but I'm so sorry to say, but we didn't love the food overall. With the steak dinner we got, the steak was over cooked and the fries tasted like burnt oil. The pizza also tasted like cardboard with sauce on it and the caesar salad tasted solely like anchovies. I really wanted to love the place and I do for the happy hour and drinks, and I would come back to try it again & order a burger/wrap, but I left a bit disappointed.

Went for dinner last night after our drive up. It was such a cozy atmosphere & reminded us of both…read moreGermany & Alsace. The beer was delicious with solid options. We had the raclette, herbed spaetzle and split chicken schnitzel. First, the raclette was so delicious. The cheese was warm and gooey over tender potatoes, and accompanied by various pickled items & crostini. The herbed spaetzle was good, though a touch sweet for my taste. Regardless, it was delicious and warm. The waiter had the schnitzel split for us without asking, which I appreciated. It was juicy and paired with sour/sweet red cabbage and mustard/tangy German potato salad. The meal was very filling and not badly priced. The food here is legitimately delicious, not "just good" for a restaurant near the ski resort. We sat outside on the upper deck with a nice mountain view. After dinner we had a drink by one of the open fire pits outside, which was a cozy way to end a delicious meal. We will definitely be back when in the area.

Ive been to Germany a few times and can say this is authentic. The chicken schnitzel with jager sauce is so flavorful and rich. The jager sauce is a dark brown mushroom sauce (similar to a Marsala). The name jager means huntsman. Substituted the seasonal vegetable (carrot and asparagus) for the cabbage which was so delicious. The meal is hearty and rich. The staff was wonderful. The Apple strudel was one of the best desserts I've ever had with cinnamon ice cream. I can only imagine how cozy this place is during the fall and winter. Absolutely worth the price.

So we came here on a Friday night about 6 o'clock and they were supposed to be an open mic…read morehappening which we were excited about because we love performing an open mic. Since we've been out all day we were really hungry so we decided to eat something before we performed. At the moment there couldn't have been more than eight people in the whole place inside and out on the deck total. We were handed menus that had no prices on them. I ordered the buddah bowl with chicken strips and my husband got a quesadilla with steak. It took about 40 minutes for the food to come and the boot bowl was mostly a big bowl of greens with what couldn't have been more than a tablespoon of chicken chopped up on it. It was very tasty. My husband's quesadilla was the size you would expect loaded with cheese but literally one little tiny cube of steak in each of the six wedges. His quesadilla was tasty We only ordered water to drink because we were going to be singing later and it took about 15 minutes for the water to get to us. She "forgot". The whole time we were there nobody checked on us and place never got very busy no more than maybe eight people the whole time. We decided not to stay to sing because there was practically nobody there and the people who were there were outside on the deck while the place for the performers was inside in the bar. And as far as we knew we were the only people there who were planning to perform. The Buddha bowl which would've made a nice side salad to any other meal was $14, while the quesadilla was $13. In my opinion overpriced for what we got. We also bussed our own table.

We also had the Mexican Street Corn dip and then couldn't leave without trying the GIANT pretzel (could probably feed four!!) Our hosts and wait staff were as nice as could be. It was a truly lovely way to spend a lazy Saturday afternoon! Can't wait to go back.

I was stressing how I would host 40 people for my wife's 50th birthday and still be able to enjoy…read morethe time with our guests and my wife. The answer came when we were invited to a private event at the Pheasant Tail a couple of months ago. I knew right away this was the way to go. The space was perfect and Craig and his team were so accommodating that there was no doubt this was where we would celebrate this important milestone. Craig worked with me to determine the buffet menu and the price and he took care of the rest. He even took care of a special request for dessert for my sister who was also celebrating her birthday. When we arrived the food was ready to go and Adam manned the bar. Everything went perfectly and when it was all over the team made sure all of the food that was leftover was packed up in trays and boxes for us to take with us. Our guests raved about the food but it was how easy and convenient Craig made the whole experience that I am most grateful for. A huge thank you to Craig and the team at the pheasant tail for making my wife's 50th birthday special!!

And of course the food was delicious and reasonably priced.
