Whew, OBT. This is a tough one to write. how do i explain how I feel about you? We love getting together, and when we do we have SUCH GOOD TIMES. Well, except for like two nights ago when i though i was going to have to crack some heap of garbage over the head after he cracked wise at my wife. Twice the size of me, half the brains. But when we're having fun, we have fun, right? You and me, OBT. Dancing to the Jackson 5, sharing beer with people, relaxing with good folks after a hard days work or watching some football on the big screens they bring out on Sundays. When things go south, they do get pretty bad though, huh? Unlike my other dive bar loves, you seem to attract a lot of brosauce bullshit. Is it your proximity to Moravian? Why is it that Friday nights are so creepy and then Mondays are so fun? Why do i have to worry about the various garbage heaps i have already spoken of, mouthing off and looking for trouble? I went here for the second time last night, after Musikfest. It was packed, hot, and it took forever to get drinks. Though the staff was nice, I wouldn't choose to come to this place again. If you're not a fan of smoke - this definitely is the last bar you want to go to. Also, many men chose to go to the bathroom with the door wide open. Very bizarre, like a sad frat house. Perfect environment and a fantastic outdoor space that lets the party rage on while still providing comfort during these crazy pandemic days. The bartender, Zach, was awesome! He remembered me and my buddies names and was firing on all cylinders. He was nice enough to provide my group with quates for the quate board after calling the owner to make sure it was ok. We were out celebrating a birthday and Zach really did all he could to make it a great night. Most fun I've had at a bar by far with all of the crazy going on. Felt like the good ol days. read more

Worst best dive bar... when you can hang out outside --- winter months you'll never stop smelling like a cigarette or risking being vomited on. Must experience prior to your 30s at least once for the full effect. I would never order food here... not even sure if you can, but a nice $5 pitcher of college appropriate beer is always available on draft. read more

Dark dive bar on corner of union blvd before you get to main st. Chelsea and Melissa the regular bartenders are very cool. Very cheap alcohol, pitchers of beer for 5 bucks. I have never had any food there (nor have I wanted to lol) but they should step up their game with selling bootleg chip bags or snacks because with all that drinking people get hungry! I am giving it 4 stars because they still allow smoking inside and unless I am already hammered, too much smoke is annoying to me and I hate the smell of it on my clothes, if I am hammered, then I will prob smoke one with the old drunks and regulars :D read more

A local joint, definitely! Touch Tunes "millennial juke box" for avail. Not as good as an "AMI juke box". But oh well! Don't believe they have parking? If so. difficult to see or find. I found street parking. It's pretty dark around this building, where you may execute your "parallel parking skills". It's pretty dark around this building due to street lights inoperative? Or a lack thereof? The little alleyway street behind this fine establishment reminds me of a Hollywood scene where you'd be mugged and killed......left for dead. The movie "Collateral" with Tom Cruise where he shoots the two thugs attempting to rob him in the alleyway...........well, it would of been better off filmed behind this building. The service is great. Friendly bartender. There is a bouncer at the door that is respectful. There is another I Saw with "security" printed behind his shirt. Could it be indicatively telltale of past unfortunate incidences? Necessitating these fine security measures? I'd guess so? Overall, this place is cozy. They have a table for beer pong! Of which I never really gave a good "gosh dam" about. I sense there may be a college around? You see college aged cliques in this joint. Not just a bunch of discontented old farts pass their fifties runny away from their suffocating lives and wives. It's a decent place overall. No pool table, but I see a dart board. Alpha beta fraternities and sororities enjoy the beer pong table, darts. Hmmm? What more? Affordable beer at a "non major metropolis price". I like this place read more

Two stars only because I've been here before and had a good time. Will never go back here after a horrible experience with the manager. Had a friend visiting from the U.K. They wouldn't accept her valid U.K. driver's license. She's in her thirties, so there was no understandable confusion about maybe her being a college kid with a fake foreign ID and fake accent - c'mon now use common sense. I asked to speak to a manager to find out if it's standard policy to only accept US issued identification cards. The staff at the door would not get the manager for us which is unprofessional. I went inside to find the manager myself and was pointed to a girl working behind the bar. Not sure if it's normal for a manager to be bartending, but I had to "convince" her to even come from behind the bar and address the situation which is unacceptable and poor service in itself. Her and her employees at the door were rude and abrasive and embarrassed my friend who was visiting our country. If this establishment wants to uphold a policy that will not accept patrons from foreign countries that don't have American IDs to enter that's fine - BUT you can still be respectful and explain the policy in a professional way. I've never had a problem in the U.K. with an American driver's license and this is the first time my friend has ever been treated this way for having a U.K. issued ID. I suppose they did us a favor by keeping us from spending our money at this backwards small town pub when there's many other better establishments you can get a beer at within walking distance. read more

As a local of Bethlehem, I had never been here and decided to check it out with a few friends. We walked and walked out, that's how bad it was. The bar was busy and there were a ton of people surrounding it, but the other side of the bar looks like a frat party that failed miserably. The lighting is weird and it's different in each room. The smoke was unbearable, I understand you can smoke in there but there is absolutely no ventilation. No one was dancing, the music sucked. Everyone just sits around, screaming at each other over the horrible music. Waste of time. Went in for 10 minutes came out smelling like an ashtray. No thanks, I would rather go to a nice club/lounge and have a nice drink, listen to current music and keep my lungs clean. read more
