SERVICE -
Welp, I'm start with the "service" - don't expect much. It is cold and a bit indifferent. Our waiter did not once check on us to be sure our order was correct, whether everything was fine, or if we needed anything additional,: zip -zero -zilch = nothing!
AMBIENCE -80s like in decor with kitchy heavy wooden tables, NO sound buffering and it was SO LOUD that I could not hear my dinner companion who was 2 feet in front of me. They certainly colored our experience, which, sadly, could've been so much more positive.
FOOD - good, hearty, and made with quality ingredients. The chahobili (chicken and walnuts) were lacking visible walnuts - perhaps it is in the sauce?? The chashushuli (veal with stewed vegetables) was. the better of the two seemingly identical looking stews. Each is a rather large serve for one person.
The summer salad was good but expensive at 239-259 czk for the portion size.
One star deduction for disinterested service/LOUD ambient noise
and
Another one star deduction because my companion's salad arrived at the same time as the main meal rather than when my salad was dropped off by a non-English speaking food runner 10 minutes prior. read more
