First off he told my 86 yr old mother that she need her 4 bottom front teeth pulled and a plate with teeth to wear. WRONG! Our new dentist shook his head and said....NOPE! I'm so glad you came to me. A good deep cleaning will secure those teeth because her jaw bone is just fine! Now I've also been complaining about a crown he put on one of my molars. The day after getting it I noticed it kept hurting so I ran my tongue across the back of it. There's a opening between the cap and my gums where food is getting in....SMH! I told dentist at Jangs and he had the nerve to tell me just to keep it clean and use a toothpick to pull food out! I knew he was full of it. Even our new dentist said its a ill fitting crown which he took pictures of and is submitting them to have it replaced and show them what Dr Jangs office did to me. I kept telling Jangs office that the crown wasn't right. I should have to be in pain after getting a cemrown and I definitely shouldn't be getting food in an opening! Then he yanked some of my teeth telling me they couldn't be saved and crowns were denied. Crown were denied because they could have been saved and I realized that when he had the audacity to ask me....." Don't you want dentures?" Fuck no....do you? Then they kept trying to push us to get my mom's teeth yanked....NOPE! Plus I waited about 2 months to where they were supposed to submit the paperwork for approval for my mom's work and heard nothing. So I would call only to have that bitch that sits in front be rude. She's lucky I bit my tongue quite a few time because she doesn't realize she playing with fire. 2 of the ladies that work up front need a good ass whipping and one day someone is gonna give it to them. I told the one who submits all the paperwork to her face after she had the nerve to be rude to me on the phone that she better never talk to me like I'm her 5 year old child again. Watch out people! Lots of scamming going on at this dental office. Money hungry and they don't care who's mouth they ruin....because they ruined mine and ALMOST my mom's. Its sad how people complain about some of the staff up front and nothing is EVER done about it. Even a few of the girls that work in the back said their very rude to clients. Please look up Bliss Dental Products. I healed 2 cavities with their mineral toothpaste plus healed my receding gums with the gum massage treatment. Don't let ANYONE ruin your teeth for greed!

I use to go to this dentist until they cracked a tooth. I had a tooth with a partial cavity and…read morethey said they could cut out the cavity and save the rest of the tooth. They said they would put a crown on the tooth. The good news is they were able to do exactly that, they removed the cavity and put a crown on the tooth. The bad news is the crown was too big and it caused pain. I returned a few times and they tried but failed to fix it. One day the pain stopped on its own, strange. Even stranger is the neighboring tooth felt funny, not really pain but something was off. I went back and what do you know, the neighboring tooth was cracked, due to the pressure put on it from the over-sized crown. They checked x-rays and sure enough, that same cracked tooth was perfectly healthy just a month before the crown. Right before the crown, I had a perfectly healthy tooth, a month after the crown, a cracked molar on a tooth that was otherwise healthy. Instead of taking responsibility I was treated not like someone who was a regular or someone who just suffered a cracked tooth, but I was treated like I was the villain. They never could answer how that tooth cracked all of a sudden, except "Well you are getting older" and other nonsense. So in the end they saved the tooth with the cavity and the crown stopped hurting, but the process cost me a perfectly healthy tooth, meaning I ended up paying over $1,000 and still lost a tooth. Imagine being out of a tooth, being out of $1,000, and given the run around, and treated badly while denying accountability. That is this dentist, both father and son. I would treat this place like ten miles of bad road.

The procedure was smooth and much faster than I expected--done in under an hour--and Dr. Safa made sure I was comfortable the entire time. He even caught an issue with an older root canal from years ago that I had no idea about, which could have turned into a bigger problem down the road. Overall, I'm very grateful for the care I received. If you're dealing with dental pain or need specialized treatment, I highly recommend Dr. Safa.

My dentist recommended going to get consultation at Pasadena Endodontix. I read some negative reviews on Yelp and Google but my experience with Dr. Safa was nothing but professionalism and expert care and treatment. I would give more stars if Yelp allowed it. I only felt a tiny bit of discomfort at the initial injection but after that, no pain since. I've had other root canals at other dentist offices a long time ago and they took over an hour to finish and it was painful. I would recommend my family and friends to see Dr. Safa if they need an Endodontist. I hope I don't need another root canal, but if I do, I'm happy to come back here. Is it a bit pricey? Yes, but in my humble opinion, you're paying for expertise and quality care. My tooth is pain free, my blister is gone, and I can't believe I tolerated the discomfort and occasional pain related to the condition of my tooth for as long as I did before Dr. Safa treated it. The office staff and assistants are also top notch and professional. Thank you Pasadena Endodontix!

Upon walking in to the office, I was welcomed by a nice staff person who instructed me to fill out some paperwork. I was then taken to a room for the consultation. Dr. Yu advised to have a root canal based on his evaluation. I was then moved to another room for the actual procedure after having anesthesia injections into my mouth. After some prep work done by his very comforting staff, it was time for the games to begin! I appreciated how his staff guided me through the prep work and explained what they were doing. It honestly feels really weird to have your mouth wide open while having strange objects being placed inside. During the procedure, I could see they were passing instruments back/forth. There were weird sounds, noises and smells. I never felt uncomfortable as they always checked in to see if I was doing OK. Before I knew it, the procedure was over and Dr. Yu went over recovery expectations and the like. Overall, it was a very efficient and comfortable process. Hopefully I won't need to return anytime soon but it's nice to know that this office is available in the local area.

What an amazing experience…read more I walked into the office of a maxiofacial surgeon expecting to get my tooth pulled that day. The surgeon explained that because of my age, I would not be able to receive an implant until 10+ years and that I would run into issues with that tooth if I decided to pull it so early. He then referred us to RC Endodontics for an emergency root canal. I walked in terrified because of the poor thoughts on root canals and the issues that could arise later from failed root canals or root canals in general. They got me into the office in about 30 minutes, which was wonderful because I had been losing sleep over this tooth and experiencing horrible ear aches and jaw pain for days. They took a look at the tooth and saw that I had bone loss and a severe infection through that part of my jaw and tooth. Dr.Parmer was extremely kind and helped with my worries and concerns without judging. She performed the procedure and injected me multiple times to make the procedure more comfortable. It's been about 3 months since I've received it and I'm no longer in any pain and my bone has gone back to its normal state. I am so grateful for such a kind office and such a well done procedure. The first one was a horrible experience. It took three visits, and all were excruciating. The next two root canals were much better, but that dentist has retired. So as I entered the RC Endodontics office, I was pretty scared. I cannot fully express how wonderful everyone was there. Evelyn, at the front desk, welcomed me and went over the paperwork including the charges. She was friendly, honest, and did not rush. It gave me an immediate feeling of confidence that this was going to be as painless a process as it could be under the circumstances. The wait was not long. Dr. Parmar and her assistant Lexi ushered me into the room where the procedure was to take place. They both were incredibly kind and did everything in their power to make me comfortable before even beginning their work. Dr. Parma explained everything to me, using the giant TV in the room to display my X-rays. No shots are fun, but the novocaine injections were not horrible, and they were the last pain I felt. Lexi held my hand. Dr. Parmar kept checking to see if I was OK, and even made me laugh. They both gave me sips of fruit juice. From start to finish took about two hours. Eight hours later, I am still in no pain. I have never had a medical experience in which I felt so nurtured and cared for. Dr. Parmar, Lexi, Evelyn and another receptionist whose name I didn't get are absolutely wonderful. I can't praise them highly enough. Oh, and did I mention that the rooms have giant TVs?
